Happy New Year!  I had an amazing 2017!  I planned and executed a move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas mostly for tax avoidance and cost savings.  What a scary and amazing adventure that turned out to be, definitely my BIG veer for 2017. Really cool having DJ Shri come on the show to share his Grit2Great story. DJ Shri had a good corporate job and helped run a family businesn the side. When the opportunity came for him to either stay with the corporate gig or take over the family business he risked it and went with the latter. Although, what came next was unexpected. Almost immediately, the business continued to declined. On top of that, friends and family were starting to doubt if he could do it. Realizing he needed to move fast he quickly picked up the skills he needed to continue, not as a DJ, but as a business owner. With hard work, and hard lessons learned, he learned how to sell and market himself. Because of this, DJ Shri now has a thriving business and community based on helping others thrive in the DJ space.
