Föstudagsgestur Mannlega þáttarins í þetta sinn var leikkonan Vigdís Hrefna Pálsdóttir. Hún hefur auðvitað leikið fjölda hlutverka á sviði og fyrir framan myndavélar og nú síðast leikur hún aðalhlutverkið, jarðskjálftafræðinginn Önnu í kvikmyndinni Eldarnir, sem byggð er á bók Sigríðar Hagalín Björnsdóttur. Við spurðum hana út í myndina og hlutverkið og fórum með henni aftur í tímann á æskuslóðirnar og svo á handahlaupum í gegnum lífið til dagsins í dag. Svo var matarspjallið með Sigurlaugu Margréti Jónasdóttur á sínum stað. Við ræddum í dag um hvað stendur uppúr hjá okkur matarlega séð eftir sumarið. Sigurlaug talaði um crepe suzette, Gunnar gaf upp dásamlega uppskrift fyrir kjúklingabringur og Guðrún nefndi steikt brokkolini. Tónlist í þættinum í dag: Litla stúlkan við hliðið / Ellý Vilhjálms (Freymóður Jóhannsson, 12.september) Snögglega Baldur / Edda Heiðrún Bachman og Leifur Hauksson (Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, íslenskur texti Megas) I Threw It All Away - Take 1 / Bob Dylan (Bob Dylan) UMSJÓN: GUNNAR HANSSON OG GUÐRÚN GUNNARSDÓTTIR

Aftur er lesið út æviminningum Hagalíns og í þetta sinn úr þeim köflum bókarinnar frá bernskuárum hans er fjalla um dýrin á bænum og dýrin í náttúrunni á Vestfjörðum. Frásagnarsnilld Hagalíns nýtur sín einkar vel í þessum skemmtilegu, litríku og fallegu frásögnum.
Á árinu 2024 hóf umsjónarmaður að glugga í frásagnir Guðmundar Hagalíns af forfeðrum sínum eins og þær voru skráðar í fyrsta bindi sjálfsævisögu hans. Nú er röðin að Hagalín sjálfum og hann segir á lifandi og skemmtilegan hátt frá eigin æskuárum að Lokinhömrum í Dýrafirði.

What started as a passion project by two friends over ten years ago; today this respected, acclaimed, and inclusive non-profit has served over 15,000 at-risk youth, employing over 350, with 10 sites spanning the coastline of Israel. HaGal Sheli was built on the power of surfing, camaraderie, and engagement to help struggling youth get back on the path. They are exceptionally well-known and respected in Israel. As a result, they have received incredible notoriety and support, are award-winning and have been invited to the White House, all through their passion to help kids get back on track. And their success statistics are staggering. Sadly, the demand for their services has jumped exponentially since October 7th. You'll hear from the CEO and Co-Founder, Yaron Waksman, Ephy Shapiro - International Partnerships Manager, and a young stud named Klil Valiano, whose story of escape and the impacts of his experience at the Nova Festival is soul-rattling. They are incredible, and I am honored to have had them in the studio. This is one to listen to for sure.⚡
