And now we settle in for the second part of the Good Doctor's second novel! Join us as we dust The Stars, Like Dust— with commentary like powdered sugar on a doughnut! Let's chat about chapters nine through fourteen! "The Podcast Was Located in a Little Niche Just Outside the Cabin" If this novel had been feeling a little non-Asenion for your tastes, this installment might be for you! If you love Golan Treveze or the version of Hari Seldon who inhabits the Foundation Prequels, you'll like Biron Ferrill better as this installment goes forward! If you think that there is a bit too much buckling and swashing in the first section, there is a bit of action where Biron overpowers a guard, tying him up with a pair of pantyhose. But once Gil and Artemisia help steal a space ship things settle down to storytelling and discussing galactic goings on as opposed to any actual going or actually doing anything story-inspiring. Plus, it's something that passes for a plot twist! So, let's go! Help us bust the stars like dust with the vacuum of space!

Back at it for another week and we just can't escape the steely gaze of our number 43, tendy turned commentator Martin Biron! He plyed his trade mostly with the Sabres in Buffalo, but also had stops in Philly and with both New York squads! Then we talk about your undefeated Winnipeg Jets, who at the time of recording are almost a tenth of the way towards an unbeaten record this year. The fellas tell you who is hot so far this year, and note a couple of players who are off to a slower start. And then in the third period, it's a real hodge podge — we talk vertical striped socks, boss eagle mascots and defunct Winnipeg hockey clubs!

Former NHL Goalie, and ‘Henrik Lundqvist career backup', Martin Biron joins the pod! Biron provided insight on the Stanley Cup final goalie-duel between Adin Hill and Sergei Bobrovsky, why Devon Levi's ‘embracing chaos' philosophy should provide stability in the Sabres crease, and he identifies two intriguing goalies for NHL GM's to target this off-season. Marty also reflected on his journey in the game, his French-Canadian roots (and accent), learning the fundamentals of goaltending, and a trip to Switzerland that changed the trajectory of his life. In Headlines, the guys discuss a Game 3 to remember as the Panthers secured their first-ever Stanley Cup finals victory. Matthew Tkachuk's late-game heroics prevailed again as Ray applauded the superstar forward's CLUTCH factor. The guys talk concussion protocol as Tkachuk took a MONSTER hit from Keegan Kolesar and there was a noticeable delay in the ‘spotter' intervening. Officiating in the finals is a hot-topic as Ray expresses why he thinks ‘letting the players play' is the wrong outlook. Jarmo Kekäläinen and the Columbus Blue Jackets bolstered their blueline with two blockbuster acquisitions in the past week! The guys discuss the 3-team deal that saw Ivan Provorov traded to the Blue Jackets, Danny Briere's first move as Flyers GM, and LA Kings GM Rob Blake unloading Cal Peterson in a savvy cap-maneuver. The Damon Severson trade broke while recording the podcast, the guys broke down the now-former Devils defender's fit on Columbus, and his 8-year contract extension. Pierre-Luc Dubois made headlines again as he pushes for a Tkachuk-like trade ahead of next season. The guys chat Winnipeg Jets off-season, the challenge GM Kevin Cheveldayoff has in attracting players to Winnipeg, and if Connor Hellebuyck could be a fit for the LA Kings. Kris Abbott skips this episode as the Betano exec. is on a work trip to Greece. Ray & Dregs discuss a shift in odds after the Panthers big win, and if the ‘goal in the first 10 minutes' trend will continue in Game 4. Check out the many prop-bet options available on Betano.ca!
