Plus the Mike McCarthy conversation going on everywhere including at The Star in Frisco with Jerry Jones and company, and some offseason and NFL Draft Q&A. What is the biggest Cowboys need? There are a lot of options. - A non CeeDee Lamb wide receiver. - Defensive tackle. Mazi Smith is the only one on the roster next year. - Running back. You ready for the Deuce Vaughn and Hunter Luepke backfield? Let's get Rico Dowdle a new deal. - Offensive line. Their hodgepodge throwtogether group hasn't been bad the last couple of weeks but they have to figure out what Tyler Guyton has and who is replacing Zack Martin. Is it Brock Hoffman? - Linebacker. Damone Clark and Marist Liufau is your whole linebacker group next year. Overshown isn't playing AT LEAST the first half of the season. - Cornerback. With Jourdan Lewis set to be a free agent, there's no one on the roster to put with Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland.

Plus let's compare and contrast the 2023 and 2024 rosters at this point. With the losses of Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz, Tony Pollard, Stephon Gilmore and other contributors, how have they done at replacing or upgrading those spots?

So if the Cowboys don't beat the struggling Giants by double-digits on Sunday, is it a bad day? And is the Eagles upcoming schedule that tough? Won't they be favored in at least two of them? Also, one caller asks if they should use Hunter Luepke in short-yardage and goal-line situations? He's bigger … but is he better? Plus, how would you grade Mike McCarthy's offense through the first half of the season? Oh, hey, it's the head coach's birthday. Who the Heck is Hunter Luepke, and who's in the 53 Man Roster?
North Dakota State fullback Hunter Luepke's time in Fargo may seem like it went by in a flash. But Luepke packed in a lot in a short amount of time. A three-time first-team All-American. FCS title game MVP. Eight straight games with a touchdown. He's a fullback in name only. When asked about the moniker that head football coach Matt Entz gave him during the year as "football player"; Luepke just smiles and nods his head.
The shoulder injury to Hunter Luepke happened in October. On Wednesday morning, the former North Dakota State fullback proved once and for all at NDSU's annual Pro Day that he's ready to tackle the NFL. It was his first chance to shine in front of NFL scouts, with personnel from 28 teams represented at the Nodak Insurance Football Performance Complex. He had a vertical jump of 36-1/2 inches, a broad jump of 9-foot-9 and, most impressive, he turned in a 4.56-second 40-yard dash.
Quinn and Zach are joined by former teammate Hunter Luepke to chat about his incredible NDSU career, NFL prospects, and Start 'Em, Sit 'Em gas stations.
This was going to be the time when Hunter Luepke was going to become a household name for NFL scouts and general managers. Instead, Luepke will need his highlight reel to do the talking.
When Hunter Brozio arrived on campus at North Dakota State in August of 2019, he was prepared for a football career in the shadows. Brozio was recruited out of Lake Gibson High School in Florida to be a long snapper. A funny thing happened to his career out of the spotlight. Brozio's athleticism got him noticed. When starting fullback Hunter Luepke was out of the NDSU lineup with a shoulder injury to begin the spring season in February of 2021, Brozio got his chance.
Ross and Trevor break down all things Montana vs. NDSU as well as Coach Entz's comments at his press conference. The guys also address the news that NDSU will be without Hunter Luepke for the season.

On the outside, to the TV cameras, Hunter Luepke doesn't appear to be the most outgoing player on the Bison football roster. His answers in press conferences or interview settings normally are made up a few words. Luepke has saved his talking for the field. When asked about talking about himself and the accolades he's received as one of North Dakota State's top players, it was an obvious answer. "Probably from the camera standpoint, it would look that way. Actually I'm not that shy of a guy, I like to hang out with the guys and have a good time." Luepke said.

No. 2-seeded North Dakota State held off No. 3-seeded James Madison, earning a 20-14 victory Friday night in the NCAA Division I FCS semifinals at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome before 16,550 fans. Bison fullback Hunter Luepke rushed for 110 yards and added two touchdown catches to lead the offense, while NDSU cornerback Destin Talbert had a game-saving interception in the end zone with 3 minutes, 5 seconds to play in the fourth quarter. The Bison (13-1) advanced to the FCS championship game for the ninth time in the past 11 seasons. NDSU has a 9-1 record in the FCS semifinals since 2011. By - Joshua A. Swanson Destin Talbert made one of the biggest plays in Fargodome history that helped send North Dakota State back to Frisco, Texas. With James Madison facing a 3rd&6 at the NDSU 7-yard line with 3:06 left in the instant classic, the senior cornerback soared through the air to somehow intercept the Dukes All-America quarterback Cole Johnson. The turnover sent an already electrified home crowd into overdrive as the Bison used one last defensive stand moments later in the game's closing seconds to secure an epic 20-14 win. The game saw a back-and-forth second half, and a series of big plays, none bigger than Talbert's pick that will be talked about in NDSU circles for decades. Hunter Luepke scored both Bison touchdowns, and Jake Reinholz banged home a pair of field goals, to give the Herd an edge over a Duke's team stymied by the Code Green defense. The Bison held JMU to a season-low in points and yardage. The win punched NDSU's ticket back to Frisco for the ninth time in 11 years. Swany is joined by former NDSU defensive lineman and West Fargo High School basketball coach Adam Palczewski to talk about one of the most memorable games in school history. The guys talk about how critical NDSU's culture has been in sustaining a championship level program going back to the 1960s, and why Bison fans need to enjoy moments like this.
