Aaron Ladd and Mark Gunnels are back for another episode of Chiefs Coast 2 Coast! The Chiefs draft class participated in rookie minicamp over the weekend. We kick things off by discussing what we learned from the very lite Chiefs practices. The Justyn Ross expectations need to slow down just a little bit while he's getting healthy to compete in the NFL. We spend some time projecting the Chiefs' depth charts as we move into the summer and what moves they still need to make. We finish things up by discussing the small roster holes where they could still add depth. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Kansas City Chiefs absolutely crushed this draft. With a potential for 7 future starters, 6 of them had 4th round grades are higher. The Chiefs added talent throughout the secondary and at each level of the defense to go with a WR that fits the system perfectly and a potential starting right tackle.
On the latest episode of the Bosh to the Bigs podcast, Boshamer Bulletin's Pat James and UNC broadcaster Kyle Straub discuss the Tar Heels' important win over Liberty, Max Carlson and Brandon Schaeffer's encouraging outings, and Mikey Madej's value to the lineup. The guys then look ahead to what awaits the Tar Heels after the much-needed exam break and how they can use it to finish strong.
The Kansas City Chiefs traded up to draft CB Trent McDuffie from Washington at #21 overall. McDuffie was close to the consensus number three corner so they definitely hit a big need with a guy that can start day one. They stayed put at #30 and took Purdue Edge George Karlaftis. Karlaftis is a great fit for the defensive system that the Chiefs run and Karlaftis was looked at as a potential top 10 pick before the combine so they got great value.

There will be several new starters taking the field for the Auburn Tigers this football season. Auburn football will start a new quarterback, wide receivers, some offensive linemen, and several defenders when they start the new season. TJ Finley and Zach Calzada would both be new full-time starters for Auburn football as well as talented defenders like Zion Puckett and Cam Riley. The Auburn defense appears to be reloading in 2022 despite losing several key guys from a year ago to the NFL Draft and graduation. On today's Locked On Auburn, Zac Blackerby is joined by Auburn message board legend Charlie5 to discuss who they are excited to see as a new starter this upcoming football season. Both list a quarterback, an offensive lineman, and some defenders to keep an eye on this football season. AMDG. Imagine yourself in a queue of people awaiting some event. Your eyes land on someone sporting an image of St. Padre Pio with the words “Hakuna Matata” juxtaposed near the saint's likeness. Or maybe you arrive at your next meeting only to notice a colleague sporting some socks that initially might pass for snazzy but upon closer inspection reveal flowers and images of St. Therese of Lisieux. Starters are set for the Colts defense, and there appears to be three significant upgrades - as well as coaching improvements! Can fans expect elite play? Stephon Gilmore said something we hope he conveys to teammates. The narrative that an NBA coach can't become a successful college coach is bizarre, and Mike Woodson is predictably proving it wrong. IU's roster is currently full, assuming Trayce Jackson-Davis returns. The fifth ranked recruiting class will push those who return, and the Hoosiers should rise in the Big 10. Pacers passed on Jalen Brunson in favor of Aaron Holiday. I didn't like it in the moment, and I really don't like it after Brunson dropped 41 on Utah last night. Do the San Francisco Giants have MLB's best starting pitching staff? They sure do look to have a case after going nine straight starts to begin the season with two earned runs or fewer allowed by the starters. In Cleveland, Carlos Rodón, Anthony DeSclafani, and Alex Wood led the Giants to a series sweep. San Francisco is 7-2 and has allowed the fewest runs in baseball by far. Offensively, it's largely been a grind thus far. Their expected numbers have consistently been ahead of their actual results. That's a good sign, as expected numbers are more predictive of future performance. Sure enough, on Sunday, the offense seemed to finally break through. Brandon Belt and Thairo Estrada homered, and several SF Giants had good days at the plate. Joc Pederson has been swinging the bat well all season. Now the Giants go to New York to face the Mets. If anyone has rivaled the Giants' pitching so far this year it's been the Mets. On paper, this is a heavyweight matchup of two of the game's best pitching staffs. On Tuesday, the matchup is set to be Logan Webb against Max Scherzer. The Giants seem well positioned to win at least a couple of games in New York, especially considering that the Mets are dealing with a couple of key absences on the Covid-19 IL. The St. Louis Cardinals won 2022's opening series 2-1 over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nolan Arenado drove in seven, Tyler O'Neill drove in six and the rest of the Cardinal offense impressed. Miles Mikolas and Steven Matz, however, were unimpressive in their season debuts. The offense has a lot to like about it, while Cardinals fans should be aware of the starting rotation holes, but not panic about them. WANT MORE DAILY ST. LOUIS CARDINALS CONTENT? The Minnesota Timberwolves rested two members of their Big Three and none of their starters played in the second half and fell behind by as many as 28 points against the Chicago Bulls. But the reserves, led by Nate Knight and Leandro Bolmaro, made things interesting and pulled the Wolves to within a point in the final minutes before ultimately falling short.
