This is a short preview from our latest Patreon-exclusive episode, where we dive into the growing fullback chaos for NRL SuperCoach 2026. With prices high, roles unclear, and confidence low across the position, we explore whether the traditional fullback-heavy build still makes sense. The discussion pivots into alternative structures, including the case for Nicho Hines at low ownership, where risk should actually be taken in 2026, and how one key structural fork can completely change the rest of your team. This clip gives a snapshot of the thinking, without giving away the full build. This episode is part of The Seven Tackle Set, the NRL SuperCoach podcast from SuperCoach Insight, formerly Insight Fantasy Sports.Check out the other shows from the pre-season: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1cFHlQFzCbxZL8bSACsca6S5ty-6Y11A&si=BT0gM1j82wbB2xbOJoin our FREE discord here: https://discord.gg/6fDXWnBHMCGet your FREE consult with Ryan from Astute Newstead: https://tally.so/r/n005AQHostsSC BrainInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/braintalksball/Twitter: https://x.com/BrainTalksBallSC WhispererInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/scwhisperer/Twitter: https://x.com/SCWhispererSC MattrixInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/sc_mattrix/Twitter: https://x.com/SC_MattrixSeven Tackle SetInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/seventacklesetnrl/Twitter: https://x.com/7TackleSetNRLPatreonIf you want the full experience and actual weekly edges, our Patreon is where everything lives.Exclusive podcasts and articles, weekly team reveals and trades, subscriber Q&A, consensus position rankings, premium Discord access, and direct 1-1 access to the hosts.Join here: https://www.patreon.com/12428569/joinChapters00:00 Fullback Chaos: “I Don't Like Any of Them”00:33 Turbo, Walsh & the Big Price Fades01:13 The Will Kennedy Debate Nobody Wants01:53 The Pivot: “Why Don't We Just Pick Nico Hines?”02:22 Nico at 10% Ownership: The Forgotten Gun02:58 The Big Fork: Grant + Stone Street vs Simkin + Val03:25 Where Do You Actually Take Risk in 2026?04:46 Wheels Up Val Holmes or Instant Regret?06:15 The Consensus Team Idea That Could Cook08:36 Locking the Team: Simkin, Structure & Final CallsFind our socials, sponsors, all our shows, join our community and become a subscriber here: https://linktr.ee/InsightFantasySports Hosted on Acast. With Van Dijk aging, Konaté out of form and out of contract soon, and fullbacks rotating every week, what should they actually do in January? Send us a textWhat does it mean to be truly present for your children? For Connor Cardew, VP of Digital Prospectors and a former college fullback at Bryant University, the answer lies in five simple but powerful words passed down from his father: family, love, trust, respect, and responsibility.Connor's journey through fatherhood beautifully illustrates how our own upbringing shapes the parents we become. Raised as the middle child between two brothers, Connor grew up with parents who prioritized involvement in every aspect of their children's lives – from coaching youth sports to creating memorable experiences like having the parents play soccer against the kids while dressed in costumes. These foundations now guide Connor and his wife, as they navigate parenthood with his three children. The honest conversation explores one of modern parenting's greatest challenges – balancing career demands with family life. Connor candidly shares his evolution from missing bedtimes due to long work hours to finding a more flexible arrangement that allows him to be present for the moments that matter. His biggest ongoing work? Learning to leave professional frustrations at the door when entering family time, something many parents struggle with daily. What makes this conversation particularly valuable is Connor's willingness to examine his own shortcomings. He acknowledges his work on patience and shares practical wisdom about letting go of rigid expectations when parenting young children. Rather than becoming frustrated when plans inevitably derail, he's learned to pivot and create meaningful moments within the chaos.Connor's reflection reminds us that fatherhood isn't about perfection – it's about presence. Children don't care about your title or achievements; they simply want you there, engaged and available. By prioritizing relationships over schedules and connection over performance, we create the foundation for our most important legacy.Have you found yourself struggling with patience in parenting or leaving work stress at the door?
