It also brought out some terrible acts of violence throughout the US. As I mentioned in the monthly episode this has indicated violence in the past but fortunately this is a short transit. Remember every transit can be positive, negative or neutral so this month in general is best used for solidifying your foundations, reflective activities and building upon what has been in the works or what is already up and running. This week: 6/14 Sun in Gemini: Surya remains in Mrigashira this week giving excitement, play and fun to exploring lots of intrests. Find your power and center thorugh laughter, play, learning, and meaningful conversation. Consider reconnecting with an old friend. Take time to do things for no other reason than the fun of it! This continues through the Summer Solstice. 6/16 to 6/27 Most positive dates of the month! 6/20 Summer Solstice: The longest day of the year is a time to celebrate, enjoy and huve fun! If you can be somewhere with music and dance. Take time to be in the Sun, swimming in water or at the beach. This is ane excellent day for meditations on the Sun such as Om Suryaya Namaha or Surya Bhedana: inhaling through the right nostril and exhaling through the left and Sun Salutations. I'm hosting a live event this Sunday called Ayurveda For The Summer Seasons at http://www.quietmind.yoga that is free for members there - if you're not a member you can get a 7 day free trial and just join us for the workshop.
