Bryan Matthews, Christian Clemente, Brian Stultz and Jay G. Tate reconvene to review some developments. The Fightin' Pearls have reached the TOP of the AP Poll for the first time EVER. What does that mean for the program moving forward? What will be the next major challenge to the Tigers' national supremacy?  Auburn football made a series of major changes to its coaching staff during the past week. What's going on? Does this strengthen or weaken the Tigers' from an one-the-field or a recruiting perspective? We also review recruiting developments on both the basketball and football sides. Stultz, incredibly, demolishes UK coach John Calipari's "concerns" with screens with one sentence. The show is presented by VooDoo Wing Company with locations in Auburn, Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Las Vegas. Check them out IN PERSON for delicious chicken or on the web at www.voodoowingco.com.

Andy also discusses two upcoming Zag games that were flipped on the schedule: at San Diego and at Pepperdine. Andy then touches on three mailbag questions about BYU that did not get answered on Monday. The Alabama run game and Robinson were dominant against the Bearcat defense and Cincinnati simply couldn't get anything going offensively. In the second semifinal game, Georgia thoroughly dominated Michigan in a game that was over by halftime. Michigan couldn't do anything offensively against the solid Bulldog defense. The stage is set, Alabama and Georgia in a rematch of the SEC Title game for the National Championship. The guys preview the game and give their picks. As they get ready to close up the College Football season, the Brians give their winners and losers from Bowl Season. Moving to College Basketball, the guys give their winners and losers from the past week as we started to see games picking back up. The biggest winner of the week has to be Johnny Davis, the Wisconsin guard has been incredible this season and put together an all-time performance at Purdue in their road win. Baylor and Providence were also in the winning column. For losers, there were many but none bigger than the AP Poll with one voter accidentally putting Georgia at #4 instead of Gonzaga. Other losers from the past week were LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, and Indiana as B-Fox gets the chance to talk about his Hoosiers. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Conference Championship Week has come and gone in College Football and the playoff field is set. Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, and Cincinnati in that order are your four playoff teams. The Brians recap Conference Championship Week (0:00-16:27) looking at the Power 5 + AAC title games. They then give their reaction to the Playoff teams (16:27-19:53) both incredibly thankful that Cincinnati is in and wonder what the committee would have done with a Big 12 Champion and 1-loss Oklahoma State team. The Heisman Finalists were also announced (19:27-22:18) with Aidan Hutchinson, CJ Stroud, Kenny Pickett, and Bryce Young all receiving invitations. The Brians believe this is Bryce Young's trophy and the rest are there for the experience. Elsewhere in College Football, there were a number of coaching vacancies filled following a wild week in the carousel last week. The guys recap the new coaches (22:18-39:00) focusing on Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame, Brent Venables to Oklahoma, Mario Cristobal to Miami, Joe Moorhead taking the Akron job surprisingly, and Brent Pry taking over at Virginia Tech. Switching gears to the world of College Basketball, it was a tough night for B-Fox as we recorded as his Hoosiers blew a double-digit lead at Wisconsin to lose to the Badgers. However, he is a true professional and powered on despite that hindrance. The guys break down their winners and losers (39:10-end) from the past week and a half. Alabama knocking off Gonzaga will always receive high praise from this show and that's exactly what the Tide did in Seattle last week. The top of the Pac-12 has been superb with UCLA, Arizona, and USC playing at or above expectations. Ohio State had a monster week with a win over #1 Duke. And speaking of #1, Purdue was voted #1 in the AP Poll for the first time in program history. On the losers' side, just as good as the top of the Pac-12 has been, the bottom has been that bad. Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, Arizona State, and Washington have all massively struggled to start the season. Florida was coming off an impressive feast week and hot start to the season when things fell apart in losses at Oklahoma and at home against winless Texas Southern. Memphis has once again earned a spot after losing to fan and program favorite Tom Crean and the Georgia Bulldogs. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Today we discuss the college football history of the Nevada Wolf Pack. This longtime program is littered, pardon the pun, with extreme numbers, great performances, perplexing moments and oddities. One innovative long time coach, one coach who turned around the program, one bowl win to secure the program's first ever ranking in the final AP Poll, one win in a snowy playoff game, one perplexing offensive meltdown for the ages, one offensive meltdown to derail an undefeated season, one playoff loss for an dominating team, one loss on the Islands to derail an undefeated season, two teams that were offensive juggernauts, one dominating team, one team ranked in the final AP Poll, one record setting running back, two stellar quarterbacks, one devastating Hall of Fame running back, one in-state rival, one rough beginning for the program, one season of offensive futility, one season of nothing but shutouts and of course, Alphie and Wolfie, Jr. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jay-abramson/support

On today's episode of Barstool Bench Mob, Marty lets the world know that his Blue Devils are the cream of the crop after they took down #1 Gonzaga on Friday night (03:23). Rico and Jake give Marty his flowers for being spot on thus far this season with his analysis. How did the Blue Devils take down the Bulldogs? Will Duke be #1 in the AP Poll on Monday? We then move on to the other Feast Week tournaments around the country (19:36). Baylor ran through the Battle For Atlantis and look like they could make another deep run despite losing a ton of players. What's going on with Syracuse? And Marty has thoughts on one of UConn's best players. In Vegas, Wisconsin won the Maui Invitational forcing Jake to re-apologize to Badgers fans (35:57). He also makes a bet with Marty involving the WCC. At the ESPN Events Invitational Dayton took down Belmont in the championship game. The tournament featured two huge upsets with Rick Pitino's Iona Gaels taking down #10 Alabama and Dayton shocking #4 Kansas. Is Rico concerned about the Crimson Tide? On today's episode, the guys break down the much-hyped but disappointing #1 vs. #2 blowout in Vegas. One bright spot in the game was the return of Dick Vitale. Dicky V is college basketball and we love to see him back where he belongs and wish him the best. On the court, Gonzaga ran UCLA out of the T-Mobile Center (05:35). Is this the same story we've seen in years' past for the Bulldogs? And for UCLA, was the #2 ranking a product of last season's tournament run? Up next - the guys react to Arizona's Sunday upset of Michigan (19:21). Tommy Lloyd has the Wildcats as an early-season surprise while Juwan Howard's squad drops it's second game in a row. Could Arizona be the favorite in the Pac-12? And is the Michigan loss another indictment of a struggling Big Ten? We then give Jake a little grief over his hate towards Wisconsin after the Badgers made their way into the Maui Invitational Finals (28:15). And Rico needs an intervention after Oregon gets blown out again, this time to St. Mary's. Is the West Coast Conference a legit conference after a surprisingly great start (36:45)? Marty doesn't believe the buzz. Then - we are joined by Indiana forward Trayce Jackson-Davis (45:07). The Hoosier big man talks about noticing Rico, Marty, and Jake at Assembly Hall, his relationship with coach Mike Woodson, and how he feels about IU's ranking in the most recent AP Poll. We wrap up the episode previewing some of the best remaining matchups for Feast Week (01:09:47) before Beating The Buzzer (01:16:32) and The Box Score Game.
