Whether you have iPads, Android tablets or Kindle Fires, these devices can easily turn into a solution that makes things better in the short term but don't have much long term gains. Here are seven things that we have been doing in our household to manage electronics time.

This week, Twitch.TV and the rise of eSports, the second (and third) halves of the Steam announcements, new Kindle Fires with a panic button, and much more. All this plus past episodes now at dontapnic.io and at facebook.com/dontpanicshow.
This week, Will and Norm are joined by Jeremy Williams to discuss World Maker Faire in New York, puffed cereal, LEGO artwork, the iPhone 5s, new Kindle Fires, the Surface 2, and GTA V. Enjoy!

Today on the 5: Amazon recently had their big event to unveil the new Kindle line. After the announcement, there was an indication that the new Kindle Fires would have ads built-in, similar to what was started in the last generation but missing an "opt out" ability. This got a lot of people all riled up, but hasn't this always been Amazon's plan with these devices?
Amazon! So many goodies from the world’s biggest bookseller, including new Kindle Fires, a front-lit e-ink device, and more! Nokia also announced some new, very shiny toys…but didn’t actually give a release date. And all this before September 12th, when Apple releases…something. Alright, who are we kidding, it’s almost certainly a new iPhone, and it may come with a streaming music service…or not. Also, what the hell is homestuck? Or Wikipad? Or Adobe Anywhere? Tune in and find out! Amazon! Nokia! Homestuck? iPhone 5! Wikipad! Adobe Anywhere! Tweet This Post
