Relationships are extremely important and just as important is what makes a great relationship. To some degree, we know what we need to do, but often we aren't putting or good ideas into practice or action into action. In this episode, we're joined by my guests Michelle Falcone and Rnold Smith who created The Connection App that aims to help people create authentic connections with themselves and others. We're overworked, dealing with life's stressors and our relationship with our spouse and the relationship with yourself goes on the back-burner.

After a virtual pre-interview meeting with Rnold and Michelle, partners and founders of The Connection App. I knew I wanted to work with them and latch onto their Connection movement. I've struggled with disconnection and isolation myself and I see so many people around me in the same boat. And since May is mental health awareness month it makes sense to tackle this topic in a positive way to bolster ourselves and find ways to avert depression and isolation that at the most serious end can lead to suicide. Michelle Falcone is not only a very successful business woman and Mother, but she is also a Divine Feminine Leader! She believes in the potential of every human being and is committed to helping those she works with to obtain a a life full of passion and peace. Michelle comes from very humble beginnings and her journey in life has provided her with a beautiful gift of helping others transform their own life. Michelle's transformational work with various budding artists in the music industry resulted in the launching of several successful careers. Michelle is also an accomplished businesswoman in the event planning and restaurant industries. This includes the creation of Falconetti's East Side Grill on Vancouver's Commercial Drive, made famous through Guy Fierie's, Divers, Drive-ins and Dives. As a Certified Integrative Life and Business Coach, she's expertly trained in the areas of self-awareness, relationships and shadow work. As a successful entrepreneur, she has extensive practical experience in empowering people to maximize their sphere of influence and live authentically. Rnold is a speaker, consultant, writer and entrepreneur who has specialized in business growth and culture transformation. He has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business leadership and has an understanding of many different industries. His TEDx talk is called “Unlocking Unpredictable Results”. At the age of 9, Rnold lost his father to suicide which started him on a lifelong quest to find a solution to despair, dissatisfaction and distress. As the President and CEO of The Habit Factory Inc., he is realizing that dream by developing products that help people form habits that lead to deeper satisfaction, fulfillment, and happiness and also accomplish their goals faster and easier. He is a passionate developer of communities and is currently President of the Board for the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce and the past president for the McBride Sapperton Residents Association. He thinks Ultimate Frisbee is a great game and he plays regularly.   Resources from this episode... The connection app can be found at Google Play or the App Store. We live in a fast-paced society where there is a large amount of information being given and received, but how often are we truly connecting and nurturing our relationships? Social media, e-mail, texts, phone calls, and meetings: These are the typical ways we constantly connect on most days. True connection is essential to our existence. Joining me on today’s episode is Rnold Smith and Michelle Falcone of The Habit Factory, the co-creators of The Connection App, to discuss this vital topic. Together we explore: * how connection starts with connecting with, loving, and accepting oneself first* the importance of filling our cup first so we can connect with others* how to be more authentically ourselves* the criticality of human connection (and the loneliness crisis we are currently living in)* how our technology and social media plays into all this (and since it’s not going away anytime soon, how to interact with it differently)* how we tend to distract ourselves from connection (either with ourselves or with others)* the importance of creating more loving habits in our lives (and how to do it) You can learn more about Michelle and Rnold, connect with them using this technology we have, and check out their Connection App at www.theconnectionapp.com.And, if you enjoyed this episode, be sure to share, subscribe, rate, or review so we can continue to connect more people with inspiration in their daily lives. Have you ever tried your hand at something, maybe a business or a hobby, and after some time realized it wasn’t for you? How did you feel? Most of us, unfortunately, would lean towards negative emotions. Somehow it feels like if our decisions don’t stay great forever, then maybe they were never great to begin with. This is common thinking but it’s also incorrect. We all have journeys we must go on and sometimes, a career change or lesson learned is exactly what we need to get to the next level phase. Michelle Falcone is a marvelous example of a woman who has found peace within herself throughout her journey. Before becoming a life and business coach, she went through three different career changes. Never once, however, did she give up on finding the perfect fit for herself. It was due to all these lessons that she was able to pick up on different life lessons that have ultimately led her to her present day career and positive attitude. More than that, however, she has taught herself tips and insights on how to truly embrace who she is, both the good and the flaws. I know you’ll appreciate this episode with Michelle because she brings a certain calm and reassurance to it. She has finally come to terms with exactly who she wants to be and, throughout the episode, she shares tips on how you can do the same. More info at FrancescaAnastasi.com
