Rnold Smith is a connector that has accomplished much. We can look back at that, but often we don't feel that way. Losing his parents at an early age, Rnold needed to make his way in the world. From his childhood dream of being a rockstar to becoming the connection guy. He recognizes himself as a smart guy, he would be just about to succeed and then would experience terror, like something bad was going to happen, sabotaging his success just before the pinnacle. As we ask the tough questions, Rnold reveals that wall, a brutally sad story of finding his Dad had committed suicide. And this devastating feelings would rise up inside his head every time he was reaching success, and he would turn away. And it took years of self awareness and growth to overcome this pattern. Rnold finally broke through the wall. Mini wins from upping his game. And he would begin to believe in his own success. Rnold knows that each time we challenge ourselves; level up, partner up, community up, globally stepping up, it is growth. In the moment it feels like pain, a nefarious feeling that rises up in the chest; and many times this is where we stop, but if we can define these feelings in a specific way we can flow with life. When we are at peace and our mind is in congruence, stay in the flow state and that practice of mastering our biology. Creating and recreating it in the moment, all day long. Rnold makes is easy for us to solve some of our connection problems. A gamified connection app that reminds us how easy it can be. Originally build to transform business behavior, but then he would follow up a month later and noticed people resisted change. So he continued to deepen his understanding and moved towards relationships. Coming from that place of love, and how to make those conversations easier, appreciation real and the honeymoon phase reawakened. Recognizing that information is just a search away. But making change possible with a helpful custom reminder that requires action, when you are most likely to do it. Ultimately habit stacking. attaching a new behavior to something we already have written in stone. The connection app allows us to easily learn about brain processes, building those empowering neuro pathways in the brain. And celebrate the micro wins. We live in a fast-paced society where there is a large amount of information being given and received, but how often are we truly connecting and nurturing our relationships? Social media, e-mail, texts, phone calls, and meetings: These are the typical ways we constantly connect on most days. True connection is essential to our existence.
