Stāsta režisors Jānis Cimmermanis. Kinofilmas galvenās sastāvdaļas – attēls, teksts, krāsa, mūzika, trokšņi. Mūsu studijas filmās mūzika stādā paralēli attēlam. Rada noskaņu, palīdz skatītājam emocionāli pieslēgties redzamajam. Mūzika bieži vien izceļ, pastiprina ekrānā redzamos notikumus. Dažreiz apslēpj filmā radušās neveiklības. Komponists ir, tā teikt, pirmais skatītājs, arī pirmais jaunās filmas vērtētājs. Mārtiņš Brauns bija komponists, ar kuru es visvairāk tiku sastrādājies. Ar Mārtiņu bija ļoti interesanti un jautri sadarboties. Viņam patika studijas “Animācijas brigāde” filmas. “Jo trakāk, jo labāk!”, tā teica Mārtiņš. Notiek pirmā filmas materiāla atrādīšana komponistam. Mārtiņš, pāris reizes noskatījies materiālu, jautā: “Ko tu īsti gribi? Tur tāpat viss ir skaidrs!” Tad tika sastādīts mūzikas gabalu saraksts (ēdienkarte). Vairākkārtīgi pārrunāti un skatīti fragmenti; paralēli pirmās mūzikas tēmu improvizācijas, akcenti, piedāvāti mūzikas instrumenti. Visvairāk tādās reizēs no Mārtiņa cieta sintezatora slēdži un taustiņi – ja kas nesanāca pēc viņa ieceres, Mārtiņš lamāja sintezatoru par cūku, kas nedara to, ko viņš grib. Kad bijām izgājuši tam visam cauri, viņš noteica: “Man viss skaidrs, es padomāšu.” Mārtiņš domāja ātri. Gadījās arī tā, ka nepaspēju nonākt mājās, kad viņš jau zvana: “Kā tev patīk šī tēma? Vai derēs?” Viņš spēlē, es klausos telefonā. “Avārijas brigādes” sērijām nofilmējām sākuma titru ar lāci un Lāčplēsi. Es saku: “Mārtiņ, vajag kaut ko lielu, varonis taču!” Mārtiņš atbild: “Būs “Rīga dimd”, un finālā tas pats, tikai rotaļīgi, kā joks.” Un tad radās iespaids, ka Mārtiņš jau dzird, kā skan filma. Viņš jautā: “Kad vajadzīgs?” Es atbildu: “Drīz.” Mārtiņš atbild: “Būs!” Tā arī notika, šī tēma skan visās seriāla filmās.            Filmās par Avārijas brigādi izmantojām fragmentus no pasaules mūzikas dižgaru darbiem. Pirmajā sērijā “Gulbis” skanēja fragmenti no Vāgnera “Loengrīns” galvenā varoņa dziedājuma. Protams arī “Valkīru lidojums” – Valkīras skan visās šī seriāla filmās. Protams, Brauna humoristiskajā apdarē. Tā, piemēram, mūzika “jūt līdzi” varonim filmā “Iesnas”, ar iesnām sasirgušajam Bembelātam. Situācijas komismu pastiprina fonā skanošā ārija “Nekad, nekad tā nemīlēju dzīvi...” – no Džakomo Pučīni operas “Toska”. Mārtiņš sarakstījis mūziku vairāk nekā 40 leļļu filmām. Mūsu studijas filmām muzikālo ietērpu veidojuši vairāki Latvijas labākie, populārākie komponisti, un saraksts būtu stipri garš. Tā Arnolda Burova filmai “Bimini” komponists ir Imants Kalniņš. Ivars Vīgners – filmai “Si-si-dra”. Raimonds Pauls ir komponējis mūziku filmai “Sapnis”. Arī scenāriju autors Māris Putniņš rakstīja mūziku, piemēram, seriālam “Munks un Lemijs”. Katram no komponistiem ir sava pieeja un metode šāda veida darbam. Vieni diezgan ilgi domā, citiem interesē, vai bez mūzikas būs vēl arī trokšņi vai teksts. Kādi mūzikas instrumenti ir domāti. Komponisti ir interesanta tauta! Tā ir kā loterija. Noteikti vinnēsi, tikai nezini īsti ko. Bet parasti – lielais laimests neizpaliek.

What it was like to film the final ever episode of Prisoner and how the cast and crew were all like a family to her. Her kan du høre et knap 1 time langt interview med Jytte Abildstrøm.December 2008 lagde jeg vejen forbi Riddersalen på Frederiksberg, og over en kop kaffe fik vi en snak om økologi og jordens fremtid. Skuespiller Jytte Abildstrøm er født i 1934. Hun bor i det økologiske bofællesskab Munksøgård, og har i sit kolonihavehus både solfangere og komposttoilet.Hun er en stor miljøforkæmper, og mener at det er ved at være på tide at vi tager ansvar, og begynder at give tilbage til jorden, frem for at tage fra den. Hun er teaterdirektør på Riddersalen og har på nabogrunden opbygget et byøkologisk forum ”Det økologiske inspirationshus”, som arbejder med formidling og forskning af økologi. Hendes hjerte brænder for jordens velbefindende, klimaet, børnenes fremtid, miljø og vedvarende energi, og hun kommer med sit bud på, hvad vi hver især kan gøre for et mere bæredygtigt samfund.
