Gen and Jette hit the road with Dawson, Pacey, and Billy, of all people. Dawson is still sad about his breakup with Jen (that he caused by being incredibly mean...) so the guys decide to hit up a bar in a college town and get Dawson's mind onto someone new. Meanwhile, back at Capeside High, Jen and Joey shockingly join forces to take down an arrogant jock who spread a rumour about Joey.

Marcel Benabou publie un essai hommage consacré à François Le Lionnais, créateur de l'OULIPO, l'ouvroir de littérature potentielle.  François Le Lionnais, « FLL » était un ingénieur, mathématicien et écrivain est né en 1901 et disparu en 1984. Il est surtout connu pour avoir été le « fraisident-pondateur » de l'Oulipo (l'Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle) en 1960 avec l'écrivain Raymond Queneau. Ce mouvement réunit des écrivains, des traducteurs, des universitaires, dont Marcel Benabou fut longtemps le « secrétaire définitivement provisoire » avant de cumuler cette fonction avec celle de « secrétaire provisoirement définitif ». Dans cet essai, Marcel Benabou commente en quelque 400 pages les poèmes de François Le Lionnais, qui visaient à être le plus court possible puisque telle était son ambition.  François Le Lionnais était un passionné par les liens entre sciences, mathématiques et littérature, il a joué un rôle-clé dans la promotion d'une approche ludique et contrainte de la création littéraire, où les auteurs utilisent des règles formelles (comme les lipogrammes ou les palindromes) pour stimuler leur imagination. Il a peu écrit : des poèmes avec le minimum de mots, le minimum de lettres, et même, sommet de la réduction, un poème sans lettres.  Il disait de lui-même qu'il avait une certaine « constipation de plume »  « Symétriquement, j'ai voulu commenter de manière la plus longue possible ces très courts poèmes », nous explique Marcel Benabou. Ainsi, il nous raconte les dessous du poème composé du seul mot « Fenouil » ou de la réduction d'un poème à une seule lettre « T. » : une lettre qui a finalement tant de choses à dire et qui ouvre un très grand champ d'interprétations...  FLL est notamment l'auteur de La Littérature potentielle (1973), un ouvrage fondateur coécrit avec Raymond Queneau, qui explore les contraintes formelles comme outil de création littéraire. On lui doit aussi Les Nombres remarquables (1983), un livre dédié aux propriétés mathématiques singulières, ou encore Le Second Manifeste de l'Oulipo (1973), où il théorise les principes de ce mouvement. Par ailleurs, il a rédigé des essais sur les échecs, comme L'Ouverture française (1935), et des textes plus personnels, tels que Le Temps (1963), mêlant réflexions scientifiques et philosophiques. Joey has some bad flashbacks. Rumours start to spread through the student body - and school board - about Pacey and Tamara so that all explodes with big consequences.

Daarnaast startte ze De Buutplek, waar ze professionals traint om ervaringsgericht met kinderen te werken.Wat haar drijft is niet groei om de groei, maar impact. “Het mooiste moment is wanneer een oud cliënt je na jaren nog herkent en een knuffel komt geven. Dan weet je: dit heeft echt verschil gemaakt.”Toch verschoof haar missie door de jaren heen. Waar ze eerst zelf zoveel mogelijk kinderen wilde helpen, ontdekte ze dat haar invloed veel groter kan zijn door andere professionals te trainen. “Als ik één behandelaar inspireer die daarna honderden kinderen helpt, dan maak ik indirect veel meer impact.”Ondernemen zonder planOpvallend aan Jette's verhaal is hoe ze begon: zonder businessplan, zonder strategie en met een flinke dosis naïviteit.Ze zegde haar baan op, zette een website online en besloot simpelweg te beginnen. “Ik dacht: als het niet lukt, vind ik wel weer een baan.” Die aanpak werkte verrassend goed. Haar praktijk groeide snel, het team breidde uit en inmiddels werken er bijna twintig mensen.Toch kwam er ook een belangrijk kantelpunt. Naarmate het bedrijf groter werd, ontdekte Jette dat leiderschap niet haar favoriete rol is. “Ik wil creëren. Nieuwe ideeën bedenken, kansen zien en dingen bouwen. Niet bezig zijn met alle teamdynamiek.”De oplossing? Ze stelde een zorgmanager aan die de dagelijkse leiding overnam, zodat zij zich kan richten op strategie en innovatie.De kracht van vraagtekens zettenEen terugkerend thema in het gesprek is het stellen van vraagtekens bij vanzelfsprekendheden. Waarom volgen we altijd dezelfde stappen? Waarom doen we dingen zoals ze “horen”? Volgens Jette ligt daar juist de sleutel tot verandering. “Als je begrijpt waarom iets werkt, kun je ook bewust afwijken van de regels. Dan maak je keuzes in plaats van dat je protocollen volgt.”Die filosofie vormt ook de basis van haar trainingsmodel voor professionals. En diezelfde mindset zie je terug in haar leven buiten het werk. Zo slaapt ze al jaren buiten onder een veranda, simpelweg omdat ze ontdekte dat het beter bij haar past.Een mooi voorbeeld van haar belangrijkste les: je hebt altijd een keuze. Zoals Jette het zelf zegt:“Wat je niet verandert, kies je eigenlijk ook.”Doen in plaats van wachtenMisschien wel het belangrijkste advies dat ze ondernemers meegeeft: Begin gewoon. “Steek die spannende rivier over. Gen and Jette are surprised (and confused) by a trip to the Tree Hill Airport with Haley, Quinn, the kids, and a surprise guest. Brooke goes to prison to speak to Xavier (from that time a long time ago). Julian and Dan find some clues about Nathan's abduction. Clay connects with another patient and the facility (you won't be prepared for this when we learn who they are in another episode)

Gen and Jette are really trying to not rage about so much stuff this season... Dan asks Julian for help in his search for Nathan. Mouth is the one to tell Clay about Nathan being missing. Haley and Jamie have a serious talk about what is happening with Nathan. Chris Keller performs at Karen's Cafe and learns about Chase and Tara.

Gen and Jette aren't listening to the Donnie Darko soundtrack - they're coming to terms with Nathan being missing. Quinn works to distract Jamie while Haley worries.
