Avui dimarts avancem que la meitat de les inversions de l'Ajuntament per aquest 2026 són millores a la via pública. La setmana passada es va aprovar el pressupost de l'Ajuntament de Lloret. És el més elevat de la història del municipi. Puja a més de 101 milions d'euros. Les inversions són 8,6 milions, el 12% més que l'any passat. Del total d'inversions, quasi la meitat (uns 4,2 milions) es destinaran a la via pública i urbanisme. Els projectes més destacats són la remodelació de l'avinguda Vidreres, Puig de Castellet, el Pla de Barris i una important inversió en millores dels carrers de Lloret de Mar. En parlem amb el regidor Joan Escalona a qui preguntem per les obres del carril bici. Altres temes d'interès: Salut:  L'Hospital de Blanes realitza la primera operació de retina i amplia la cartera de serveis d'Oftalmologia. Teatre: L'institut Coll i Rodès estrena aquesta setmana l'obra UN EMBOLIC AL COLL, que es representa en diferents espais del centre i explica qui va ser, entre d'altres, Ramon Coll i Rodès. En parlem amb Davd Barba, d'Amargura Cultura, que ha escrit l'obra. Cinema: Destaquem la presència de la crítica de cinema Imma Merino, aquest dijous, a la projecció del cineclub Adler SIN TECHO NI LEY d'Agnès Varda. Agenda: Diumenge, la companyia el Mirall de Blanes representa a Lloret ‘Hellas. Gregues, Grecs i Gemecs'. L'obra parla de Medea, Antígona i Lisístrata, tres mirades gregues i antigues sobre la dona, que tenen una gran vigència.

‘Un embolic al Coll' és l’obra que s'estrena aquesta setmana a l'institut Coll i Rodés per celebrar els 40 anys d'aquest centre escolar de Lloret de Mar. La peça -itinerant, participativa i còmica- recorre diferents espais de l'institut i explica, entre d'altres anècdotes, qui va ser Ramon Coll i Rodés, una persona molt vinculada amb Lloret. Raquel Arbussà, cap del departament d'Hostaleria i Turisme, explica que “l'obra es desenvolupa en espais on passen molts alumnes com el laboratori o la biblioteca, per reflexionar sobre la nostra història, conèixer la identitat del centre o qui dona nom al Coll i Rodés”. L’empresa cultural Amargura Cultura porta a escena “Un embolic al Coll”, amb els intèrprets Joan Romà Ortiz, Judit Saula i Montse Sala. L'autor és David Barba, qui explica que el fil conductor és qui dona nom a l'institut i que “això porta a comicitat, a una cosa fresca i a fer comunitat”. La funció converteix els espais de l’institut en escenaris teatrals on es posen en joc qüestions com: per què tothom diu “el Coll” i gairebé mai “Coll i Rodés”? Qui era Ramon Coll i Rodés? I què diu de nosaltres la manera com anomenem els llocs que formen part de les nostres vides? Aquesta producció teatral és una proposta cultural que homenatja quatre dècades d'educació pública de qualitat. A través del teatre, la cultura i l'humor, l'obra ens convida a reforçar el sentiment de comunitat, reivindicant la importància de preservar els noms i els personatges que ens defineixen com a poble. En total, es faran quatre representacions que es portaran a terme els dies 19 i 26 de febrer i 5 i 12 de març a les 19h. La primera arriba el proper dijous. Russell is a Senior Engineer at General Motors and a commercial real estate investor in metro Detroit, with prior experience at Chrysler and Ford, where he filed three automotive engineering patents.
