Oliver Ozogány dopĺňa novú generáciu slovenských hokejistov, ktorí majú potenciál výrazne prehovoriť do svetovej špičky.

From there, they took some Ask The Idiots questions from the listeners which involved Oilers prospects, PTO options, and what to expect from both Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman next season. They wrapped up the podcast by talking about how many goals to expect from Connor McDavid next season for our friends at bet365 and they gave out their hot and cold performers of the week.

There's no way your Thursday wouldn't be complete without a fresh episode of the Real Life podcast to wrap up your week, would it? Of course not. Thankfully, the gang was back with a fresh episode of Real Life that was all over the map and covered a wide range of topics. The guys kicked off the podcast with a random question about how many Teen Burgers they could eat in support of Burgers for MS Day on August 22nd for our friends at A&W. As you'll hear, the boys believe they can put back a pile of burgers in the name of charity, even though the lofty estimates seem ridiculous at first blush.Changing gears, Wanye wanted to talk about a new YouTube channel he found with an Aussie guy who has built a homestead for himself using nothing but primitive tools. That led to discussions about influencers of all types getting famous for the most random content you could ever imagine. Whether that content is any good is a different matter entirely. From there, Wanye wanted to discuss the advances in Neuralink technology and how it won't be long before people can get rid of phones and live online within the confines of their own minds. If the tech advances enough, would having a chip in their brain be of any interest to the boys on the show if given the chance? Finally, the boys wrapped up the Thursday episode of Real Life with a recap of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, which is why Steven Ellis is in town. Despite forcing Steven to sit through an hour of shenanigans, hearing his take on the state of hockey was a fun dive into the mind of The Nation Network's prospect analyst.

They bring on Sportsnet own MLB Insider Shi Davidi for his thoughts on what he heard from the team's President and CEO. The trio discuss the chain of command within the organization, how much they've learned from this year's disappointing season and what the main priorities this offseason need to be. They also look at how viable it is that the Blue Jays can re-vamp themselves to be competitive in 2025, especially in the American League East. After that, Brent and Matt check in with another show favourite, Sportsnet's own Jason Bukala (31:08). The founder of the Pro Hockey Group joins freshly off a plane having taken in some of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup tournament to give us his thoughts on the “next one”, Gavin McKenna, and what makes him special for a winger. The three get into a discussion of what they think is the best process for the Maple Leafs to proceed with some of their top prospects, along with thoughts on overall development in the NHL with high end talent. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
