In this episode, Jay Slater, Max Leograndis and Kirt McKenna join me in discussing super squad relevancy and assignment. Does it matter? Is there competitive inequity? Who should be on the super squad? Max also gives us some insight as to what he's thinking about as to determining a PCSL National Champion. He's considering making circuits great again. But, he is also looking for some feedback. Enjoy!
We get into specifics of each division. The dominance of JJ Racaza's win, as well as Michael Poggie. The down to the last stage wins by John Vlieger and Joey Sauerland. Finally, we discuss the Handgun World Shoot Teams that have been decided to this point.

We're finally back at it. This week, (some of) the boys are back in town for another absurd episode. Katon and Evo once again return this time alongside YPT contributors Soju Operator and Kalashnikoffing. For those who missed the last episode, Katon is a newly minted USPSA Grand Master Class level shooter under the Carry Optics division and Evo is a security and EMT professional currently working towards medical school. As one can imagine, only the SPICEST of takes are discussed here. Together, they cover various topics in regard to the firearms space including what it takes to reach Grand Master level, firearms training myths perpetuated by the left, process vs results-oriented training, why the idea of “gatekeeping” in the competitive shooting space is mostly bullshit, shit talking Tu Lam, and why MIRA Safety is a total joke of company. Together, the 3 of them get intoxicated and start laying their hottest takes and takeaways on how to actually get good at shooting, dispelling the myth of being the “jack of all trades”, why you should stop listening to YouTubers for practical advice, why your favorite dry fire gizmo probably sucks, why it's ok to challenge others, and the power of love. In today's episode of the TFB B-Side Podcast, we've brought on competitive shooter Dave Blanton otherwise known as The Humble Marksman on YouTube and Instagram. Dave hasn't had your typical journey through the ranks of IDPA and USPS but instead is pretty much just a regular joe like you and I that has a passion for high-speed low drag shooting. On today's podcast, Dave and I talk at length about the competitive shooting scene, how it started, how it's going, and where we hope it'll land in the future. It hasn't been easy this last couple of years inside the walls of USPSA but hopefully, things are looking better on the horizon. Please welcome today's guest Dave Blanton!
