Do you have the skill to shoot but you just can't jump over that hurdle?  It could be a mental problem and not a hardware issue.  In this episode of The Green Ops Podcast, Luke talks with Steve Anderson about the mental aspect of shooting.  Steve Anderson is a USPSA Grand Master and teaches competition pistol shooting full time. He is the author of three books about competition pistol shooting and does a podcast, “That Shooting Show” which is heard daily all around the world. Steve got an appreciation for the Mental Game early in his competition career and now devotes himself to helping others avoid years of struggle as they learn to shoot and compete. As a Mental Management certified instructor, Steve has a unique ability to make a direct connection between Mental Management and all forms of handgun competition, particularly USPSA, IPSC, IDPA and Steel Challenge.Check Steve out at https://www.andersonshooting.com into/outro music:Crazy by Alex-Productions https://soundcloud.com/alexproduction...Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0Free Download / Stream: https://bit.ly/3bL1m0qMusic promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/tzginFAzzdkSpecial thanks goes out to;Sons of Liberty Gun WorksVertxBlue Force GearSpotter UpF3 TacticalTenicorPlease like, subscribe and share to help us grow the podcast.Check out our YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/c/GreenOpsInc Follow us on Instagram:Green Ops Podcast - Green_ops_podcastGreen Ops - greenopsincLuke - Green_Ops_LukeDex - Green_Ops_DexLove you Mom!

If entrance into the military counts as initiation into Gun Culture (it doesn't, but work with me here), then I have spent 15 years in various parts of this community. What are the lessons to be learned from it? First, we all enter naive, whether into a job or a discipline or a skill tree. As we learn where we need to correct our way of thinking, we are faced with options for growth, or resentment. Second, group constitution takes second place to group attitude when it comes to success. Think of it like skills being the foundation, but not the cause for a good community. Finally, whether shooting competition, training tactically, or looking into new gear, we build this community that you're likely a part of, by spending time with one another. Let's do more of that. Support the REDACTED Culture Cast at redactedculture.locals.comSSP and boutique products at redactedllc.comFollow us on Instagram at @redactedllc
