Financial analysts were far more prepared than most CEOs for the US tariffs announced on April 2. Analysts, who serve as a proxy for the financial markets, anticipated tariffs would soon be an enormous issue, mentioning the topic 62% more often than did CEOs during Q1 earnings calls. That's the conclusion of the second edition of the CEO Radar—a tool to help CEOs determine which issues truly deserve their time and attention. It unpacks the leading topics discussed on almost 4,900 earnings calls worldwide in Q1 2025, enabling chief executives to compare their agendas to those of their peers, and to the market's expectations. On this episode of the CEO Radar Podcast, Edward Adams of Bloomberg Media Studios is joined by BCG Global Chair Rich Lesser and Michael Brigl, Head of BCG's Central European practice, to discuss how tariffs are likely to have a long-term effect on corporate operations. On this first episode of the CEO Radar Podcast, Edward Adams of Bloomberg Media Studios is joined by Christoph Schweitzer, CEO of BCG, and Judith Wallenstein, head of BCG’s CEO advisory practice, to unpack the stories behind the data, based on their one-on-one conversations with CEOs. For episode 232, I'm joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski behind the scenes preparing for Emmys and a new season of TV Topics, so look out for that soon. This time around, we're looking at what could play at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, as well as what else might be worth looking forward to this year. We're going off of my annual 100 movies to look forward to list (found here), for what that's worth. Myles has also seen Black Bag (reviewed by yours truly here), so we discuss that a bit. Throw in a discussion about who should be the next James Bond (I'll turn that into an article tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that) and there's plenty here, including your questions. Programming note: we're going to have an episode next week that's just some interviews with a few of our most recent Oscar winners, but we'll be back with a fresh one the week after...As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 232nd one to date (here's to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. For episode 228, I'm joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski behind the scenes preparing for Emmys and a new season of TV Topics, so look out for that. This week, we recap the BAFTA and WGA awards, while previewing the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Namely, we're looking at how SAG could swing the Best Actress race between Mikey Madison and Demi Moore, as well as if Conclave has any chance of overtaking Anora in Best Picture. Throw in some more discussion of The Monkey (raved about here, while my interview with Theo James and Osgood Perkins is here), Myles chiming in on Heart Eyes (reviewed here by yours truly), and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, alongside some questions.
“To jednostavno nije istina", kratko i jasno odgovara Konde. Rio Tinto.

For episode 174, I'm joined once again by my co-hosts Myles Hughes and Steve Prusakowski. This time around, we take a mild break from Oscar nomination chatter to answer some questions, finish Joey's January, and do an Oscar recalibration. Plus, I give my thoughts on Argylle (reviewed here) and Lisa Frankenstein (my rave comes next week), along with the few Sundance Film Festival titles I took in. It's a loose episode, but still a very nice and beefy one, overall...
