The Galactica and Pegasus unite to take down the Cylon resurrection ship. But both are plotting to assassinate the other after the mission. Who succeeds? Stephanie does because the cutest thing ever happens at the end.
Galactica continues to grapple with the Pegasus crew and finds out what happened to its civilian fleet -- big yikes! Plus, lots of Adama/Roslin feels.
Happy (belated) St. Patricks day folks! Today Heather and Amanda talk resurrection ship part 2 while they fight about glasses, talk about their worst space nightmares, eugoogalize, and reminisce about their favourite memories of Magners Irish Cider. Grab a glass and listen or watch along. Cheers!
This week the babes battle technology big time- so please excuse the audio quality! The babes talk Cain and Able, the mortality of Cylons, and more as they dissect this week's episode of BSG. Grab a glass of "Take It To The Grave" Grenache and listen or watch along. Cheers!

Fat Apollo Is Life - Battlestar Galactica: BSG S02E11 (Resurrection Ship, Part 1). Let's frak!
With the fate of the Colonial fleet - and possibly the Cylon race - hinging on an important mission, Lee decides to go for a float trip. Can Starbuck pull off another hotshot plan? Will destroying the Resurrection Ship really stop the relentless Cylon pursuit? Will we learn that Admiral Cain has a heart of gold after all? Will we actually answer any of these questions? Tune in to find out!
When we last left our heroes, Adama was determined to get Helo and Tyrol back from the Pegasus; Starbuck was on a mission for the Yearbook committee, and Roslin wasn't feeling so hot. This week, Adama and Cain get called to the principal's office; Starbuck returns at an inopportune moment, and Caleb still hasn't cleaned his leftovers out of the company refrigerator. On a positive note, our favorite XO, Michael Hogan, is making slow but steady progress. If you have the means, consider donating to his https://www.gofundme.com/f/michael-hogan-fund (gofundme).
Anne-Marie and Peter give their views on Resurrection Ship pts 1 & 2. Next time, recording 3/4, they're looking at Epiphanies and Black Market. Feedback (5 minutes or under, and spoiler free for future episodes please) to borgcast@gmail.com.
Anne-Marie and Peter give their views on the BSG episodes Flight Of The Phoenix and Pegasus. Trigger warning: Given the content of the latter episode, the depiction of a rape scene is discussed. Next time, recording 6th March, we look at Resurrection Ship parts 1 & 2. Feedback (5 minutes or under, and spoiler free for future episodes please) to borgcast@gmail.com.
Buckle up for some California beach talk as Tricia and Marc revisit Part 2 of "Resurrection Ship," the episode featuring hot men in hot handcuffs that for some reason inspires a discussion about Gus Van Sant's remake of Psycho. Also, learn the different names for Tricia's toes after they went numb for a week following Comic-Con. Listen!
Tricia and Marc are all up in the first of a two-part story in which the stakes are so high, even Adama can't help but look a little ... diminished. Sometimes you've got so much good material, you might as well just make two episodes out of it. Listen on.

Matthew and Dean go way into Admiral Cain (not like that you pervs) and discuss the finer points of her character's rise and fall. They discuss her code and the fact that her gender was never discussed by any of the crew. The lads celebrate that Cain wasn't used as a champion of some social or political statement (or crusade) and simply just a well-rounded character that they believe wouldn't want your pity. What kind of society is worth saving? That's the question at hand in Resurrection Ship. Pat sees a bit of Admiral Cain in Starbuck and thinks that Cain does too. Mike compares the lines that Cain and Adama are willing to cross. Matt thinks the troubled Admiral may have gotten exactly what she wanted in the end.
The bitter, often-surprising end to one of the show's best story arcs to date. Or is it the best arc to date? Discuss.
We're back! Sheesh, we take one little break and suddenly it's CIVIL WAR! Here are the big questions to discuss: Is Admiral Cain really a villain? And is assassination really the only solution?
In this episode of Frak Stars, Colin, Steve and Drogyn discuss the episodes Resurrection Ship parts 1 and 2 (season 2, epsiodes 11 and 12). It's Christmas! J. and Robby give gifts -- the Mary Tyler Moore episode "Christmas and the Hard Luck Kid II" and the Psych episode "Christmas Joy" -- then sit down to Christmas dinner: the latest episode of Elementary (where the mystery is whatever but MORLAND HOLMES, Y'ALL); Battlestar Galactica's ultimate main course in "Pegasus" and "Resurrection Ship"; and then dessert, as Don Draper goes rogue and the Mad Men crew invite you to "Shut the Door. Have a Seat."Next week: the year in review!
BSG has finally come to an end. And it only took us almost 2 years. It was a ton of fun to both put Joey through that torture but also rewatch the reboot.
