How can technology enhance our adventure experiences on skis? Is it possible that ski coaches, instructors and guides can be replaced by technology all together? In this episode we touch on these questions as we explore Carv with Morgan Engel and Alex Jackson. Carv is a small device that skiers can affix to their ski boots that analyzes their movement patterns as they ski. The data that Carv collects is uploaded to a user-friendly app on a Smart Phone. From here, users can either analyze the data and metrics themselves. Users can also select one of the coaching modes that provides targeted feedback. This makes Carv the largest ski school in the world by hours taught!Alex Jackson is the VP of Marketing for Carv and is based in the UK. Morgan Engel is a PSIC Level 4, CSIA Level 4 and PSIA Level 3 ski instructor and a PSIC Level 4 Licensed Professional Trainer in Whistler, British Columbia. Morgan has been working with Carv as an Ambassador and Advisor for the past six years. Morgan has also helped develop the Carv Instructor Certification offered through the Professional Ski Instructors of Canada.Morgan has been working with Carv as an Ambassador and Advisor for the past six years. Morgan has also helped develop the Carv Instructor Certification offered through the Professional Ski Instructors of Canada.Alex Jackson and Morgan Engel share their insights on what Carv is and how it can be used as a development tool for not just skiers, but by instructors, guides and coaches.TakeawaysInnovative: Carv is definitely a well thought out skill development tool for skiers that adds the possibility of gamifying skiing by trying to reach higher and higher scores. It is also nice to have a tool that measures your performance objectively with weight being placed on your performance instead of your style.Does Not Replace Snow Sports Professionals: There is still an important role for instructors when it comes to interpreting and communicating the data and structuring development. Carv also isn't going to tell you where the best snow is on a given run or how to prepare for what you are going to encounter before you get there.Adventure Enhancer: Carv is an excellent example of where technology can enhance the user experience. Other technologies that I can think of are apps like Stava and Gaia and devices like GoPros and even Smart Phones.Importance of Milestones: To keep us motivated and in a positive space, we need be able to break progress into small pieces. The one thing that Carv does well that other similar technologies should take note of is pointing out each time the user has reached a new level. It might be improving a certain metric or achieving an improved score. Guest BioAlex Jackson is based in London, UK and is the co-founder and VP of Marketing for Carv. Alex has enjoyed a very successful career in technology. His passion is products that can change the way people behave.Morgan Engel is a PSIC Level 4, CSIA level 4 and PSIA Level 3 ski instructor who has over 35 years of teaching and instructor training experience. What every hotel needs NOW!: USB-C Charging

PhotowalksTV Podcast with Jefferson Graham

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 16, 2024 0:11

I've been on the road now since 10/21, with a brief pit stop at home, and this I can tell you: hotels need to charge up. Through stays in Santa Fe, Taos, Flagstaff, Palm Desert, San Francisco and the California Gold Country hamlets of Murphy, Plymouth, Placerville and now, as I write this, Chico, we've seen cardless entrances to the room via a text message code, we've been welcomed with a personal greeting on the big screen TV, been e-mailed after our stay with online survey requests, but none of these are Guest First issues. What needs to be seriously addressed: charging contemporary devices. Figure the average traveler has at least two phones to contend with, a Watch or two, a laptop and maybe an iPad, and you see the problem. I happen to be a techhead who travels with extension cords, power strips and every conceivable cable you can dream of to charge multiple phones, microphones, GoPros, Insta360 cameras and two laptops (@ruthtalksfood is along for the ride, as always) but I know I'm an outlier. Still, we all start with the same issue: where to find available outlets for charging up. (Even with extension cords, you have to find a place to plug in!)That's always a challenge in an older B&B, but understandable. These places weren't built in a time when people like us traveled for overnight stays and power outlets were hidden behind giant poster beds and built-in bookshelves. Many lodging facilities have tried to upgrade their charging options, thankfully, with devices like the CubieMini which worked great in 2020. Many of the hotels and even the B&Bs have even installed lamps and radio with have built-in USB-A ports, to make it easier for us. And that's great. But the times, they have changed!Who uses USB-A anymore? Very few of us. All these hotel improvements are actually a good five years behind the times. Now it's all about USB-C, as the industry has settled on one universal connecting cable for seemingly everything. If I'm talking geektalk, know this: the old USB-A cable was the one with the thick silver tip and pin connectors on the bottom side. USB-C is the more streamlined, thinner cable, and both sides fit into your device port. Pretty much every device sold today uses USB-C for charging. I use USB-C to connect my iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy S23, GoPro Hero 12, Insta360 X4, Rode Wireless Go microphones, iPad, AirPods, DJI Mini 4 Pro drone and Samsung T7 solid state drives. When I livestream, I plug a USB-C cable into my Sony EV-Z10 camera and then directly into one of my MacBook Pro slots (I have 3.) I also connect an iPhone, via USB-C to the Mac, so I can show the iPhone screen during the show. So in other words, hotels aren't helping us with all those USB-A slots. They're irrelevant. May I suggest some simple room upgrades:* Companies like Anker, Belkin and Neewer make multiple charging solutions for consumers. Why not think Guest First and install one of these devices in each room? The $39.99 Anker Charging Station has four available USB-C slots, plus, if you've got an old iPhone, there are 2 USB-A slots as well, plus 3 AC outlets. * I know many hotels, but not all, like to have alarm clocks in the room, and I've scoured Amazon looking for one with multiple USB-C ports. I've only found devices with one. Not much help. But it's a start! (This Sharp radio has both a USB-C and A port.)* How about wireless charging solutions? Many products use the Qi wireless system to power up, and Apple has the MagSafe solution. A plugged in MagSafe adapter would be fantastic. If you have an old iPhone like the X or 11, you have a cable with a USB-A on one side, and the old Lightning on the other side. Apple stopped selling iPhones with Lightning with 2023's 15 series, while many older iPads, AirPods and Watches still have it. Meanwhile, with holiday travel coming up, it's doubtful all the hotel chains will have read this edition and decidedto quickly upgrade. So here's my tips on what not to leave home without. —If you have an old iPhone, buy one of these $10 USB-A to Lightning cables and throw it in your suitcase. —If you have a modern iPhone, Galaxy or any other device, pick up a USB-A to USB-C cable. This is the one that will fit in the hotel chargers. Anker sells a two-pack for $9. —For the utmost in versatility,, how about a multi-use cable, which plugs into the hotel USB-A port, but has extensions for both Lightning and USB-C. I found one on Amazon for just $6. Or, just buy a few USB-C to A adapters to put over your existing cables. They sell for under $10. As noted, I have a seperate cable bag that I bring along on road trips. For plane rides, I have a few dedicated cables that live in my suitcase, and they plug into multiple outlet chargers like this one from Anker which sells for $17. Have I missed your favorite cable solution? Let me hear from you in the comments. In other news: Freevee no moreFirst it was IMDB TV, Amazon's home for ad-supported TV and movies. Then, the company decided a name change was in order, and altered it to the silly sounding Freevee in April 2022. Now, Freevee is history. The programming will be woven into the existing Amazon Prime Video offerings, Amazon says, although I'm skeptical that the huge library of old stuff will make it in. The reason for the change: Amazon started putting adds in its Prime offerings, so there was no need to have two ad-supported channels. New Final Cut Pro 11In 2011, Apple introduced Final Cut Pro X, a new imagining of video editing software that looked like iMovie, but was way more full-featured. Many editors complained that it was dumbed down, but I loved it. It changed my life, offering a faster, easier to use program that I have used every day since. (And I'm not kidding.)All these years later, Apple now has an update, with Final Cut Pro 11. The key features include the ability to add captions to your project automatically, and use AI masking to remove backgrounds from the video and isolate the person, like we can do on the iPhone. The cost is $299, but existing users get the upgrade for free. You Never Know Who You'll Meet in Placerville There is a fabulous restaurant on Main Street in Placerville, right next to the Hangman's Tree, (not kidding) named Franny's Farm Table. Erica Cookson is the owner, and as I uttered one word to her, she recognized my voice, even though we had never met. It's a fun story, and she tells it in the video below, which is directed to our friend Mark Thompson, who hosts a popular show on YouTube. I'll have more to show and tell you about the Gold Rush Country of California in the coming weeks with a new full-length Photowalks episode. So stay tuned! Thanks as always for reading, watching and listening. Jeff Get full access to Jefferson Graham's PhotowalksTV newsletter - Tech & Travel at www.photowalkstv.com/subscribe

In 2011, mass protests erupted in Syria against the four-decade authoritarian rule of the Assad family. The uprising, which became part of the larger pro-democracy Arab Spring that spread through much of the Arab world, was met with a brutal government crackdown. Soon after, the country descended into a devastating civil war that has killed hundreds of thousands of Syrian civilians and displaced over 13 million people, more than half of the country's prewar population. When the civil war broke out, groups of volunteers formed to provide emergency response to communities across Syria. In 2014, those volunteers voted to form the Syria Civil Defence, a national humanitarian organization widely known as the White Helmets. Since then, the group has expanded to become a nearly 3,000-strong network that has saved more than 128,000 lives in Syria. In their daring and life-threatening work, the White Helmets provide critical emergency services, including medical care, ambulances and search-and-rescue operations. They also document military attacks and coordinate with NGOs in pursuit of justice and accountability for the Syrian people. In Berkeley Talks episode 210, we hear from the director of the White Helmets, Raed al-Saleh, and from Farouq Habib, a founding member of the organization who serves as their deputy general manager for external affairs. They were part of a panel discussion, hosted by Berkeley Law's Human Rights Center on Sept. 19, 2024.“For us, as Syrian people, the most strategic and important work is on justice and accountability, our human rights work,” said al-Saleh, whose remarks were translated by Habib during the event. The group has become instrumental in exposing human rights violations and atrocities during the war. After they used GoPro cameras to record a double-tap strike in 2015 — when two strikes are launched in quick succession, often targeting civilians or first responders — the White Helmets recognized that the videos could be used to document these war crimes. “We realized that the footage … is not only important for media awareness and quality assurance, but it's even more important to document the atrocities and the violations of international human rights law and how to use that in the future to pursue accountability.”When asked later in the discussion how the White Helmets envision the future of Syria, al-Saleh replied that he wants to see “a peaceful Syria, where people can live with dignity and respect to human rights and support human rights everywhere.”Habib and al-Saleh were joined on the panel by Andrea Richardson, a senior legal researcher for investigations at Berkeley Law's Human Rights Center, and emergency physician and medical adviser Rohini Haar, a Berkeley Law lecturer and a research fellow at the Human Rights Center. Today, Walt Robillard and I are giving you a sneak peek at a new project we've been working on. Give it a read (below), or a listen (Above), and check it out, and yeah, that's Walt's killer voice doing the narration.Hobo Recon:Hard Luck and TroublebyNick Cole and Walt RobillardChapter OneHobos in the Wind“This is why we can't have nice things, Troubs!” Hardy shouted across the cargo containers in the yard.            It'd been a while since he'd had to draw the heater, much less fire it. This wasn't the gun he'd normally shuck from beneath his worn patchwork “dirty” military jacket when things went south fast and desperate. The dialed-up M4.  This was definitely the shotty he used for tense negotiations with uncertain characters who harbored bad intentions.Bad intentions was everyday and everyone now days. In these times. He pulled that shotgun from under the coat where it dangled on a single point underarm sling as he ate up the miles and rode the rails. A model 870 SPS Marine Magnum he'd rattle-canned to look more used, weathered, subdued. On the road and the kinda gun a desperate man lookin' for work might use to protect himself in these lawless times. He'd save his sidearm for the real intense gunfights up close that needed more rounds on target. Less fiddling with the firearm when he wanted to put a hurt on someone. The double stack mag held enough, “go screw yerself,” forty-five caliber ACP. Usually good to get out of whatever scrape he and Trouble had gotten themselves into this time behind enemy lines and in service to SOCOM and the Heartland that was all that remained of the U.S.             Trouble—because it wasn't a middle name, it was really… who he was—Troubs had his head shoved into the open cargo container in the shipping yard, using his teeth to strip off the casing around a wire he was working. He had a multi-tool with wire strippers too. The ones all those old EOD guys carried back in the day on their rig and chest plate carriers in the wars in other places not the battleground they found themselves in now… America. Still America regardless of what all factions were involved and especially the ChiComs. The sudden appearance of a Chinese security agent had Trouble stripping wires with his teeth for expediency in order to, “get it done in one, son.”It didn't help that Hard Luck had been muttering that same phrase as he got ready to distribute some hate-spray from the barrel of the rattle-canned 870. Rattle-canned old BDU multicam because that was the way the world was now, and the lands they found themselves in, and was the camo of the day when they'd both started out as Eleven Bravo privates in the last days of the Old Cold War.Not the hot one now.            The unlucky and early security agent was currently dead behind where Trouble was kneeling, large caliber holes bleeding over his gray uniform and onto the wet pavement of the yard.            “Brah, that shot was like Mozart on a motorcycle. That's how we do it, my brother in combat arms!” Trouble quietly exclaimed as he twisted the end of the newly exposed wire, pumped his fist, and continued whatever Def Leppard song he was keeping time to, to get his EOD on like he'd always done. Then he pumped his fist again and bit his lip, hearing some searing unheard guitar solo from long ago. “Need me a little cover while I finish this last bit, Hardy.”            Hard Luck.            SFC James C. Hardy. SOCOM. Eighteen Bravo. Shoulda been a Master Sergeant before retirement. But he spent some unrated time doing dark stuff in uncertain places along the way for shadows that didn't want to come out into the light before America got sold out by those shadows and all that was left was SOCOM to defend the Heartland and give the Chinese and the rest a bad time. There was the 82nd too, even though they were stuck in the irradiated remains of Russian-occupied Poland and fighting for their lives living on dead horses and hate. The Marines held Sand Diego and were officially listed as insurrectionists and traitors, allies of Russia.            But that wasn't true. Not at all.            Eighteen Bravo.  The weapons sergeant within the Special Forces career field, employs conventional and unconventional warfare tactics and techniques in individual and small unit infantry operations. Employs individual domestic, foreign small arms, light and heavy crew-served weapons, anti-aircraft and anti-armor weapons. He is… a master of all weapons.            And don't ask about the Rangers and where they are in the mess we find ourselves in called America's Darkest Hours on a good day. All four Battalions were dead. As they say in SOCOM, “Ain't no Rangers here,” and then those that can, point to where they once rolled the scroll and wink. “They just on the fade.”               Hardy leaned into the shadows beside his own container he was covering from. No use standing in the same spot as his partner. The guy was either going to blow himself up or get trounced by the incoming security responding to the shots. Why risk both of them getting schwacked?            “You were supposed to wait,” Hardy muttered as he scanned the misty and wet dark.            “I was supposed to be a rock star,” Trouble responded, humming metal to himself as he cursed the wire he was working with. “Playing the axe at night; beach, beer, fish tacos by day. Maybe even charm my way to seeing a bikini hanging off the end of the bed post, ya know? Life comes at ya fast, Hardy, but don't worry… Trouble's my name and causin' it is my… game,” he whispered almost to himself as he continued to solve the problems in his hands.            SFC Stephen X. Bach. Eighteen Charlie.  SFC when he shoulda retired at least an E8 just a few years ago as things began to get truly weird and surreal and even the Army lost its mind and lowered standards, painted nails and even let some girls wear the Ranger Tab when no one who's actually earned one thinks they even got remotely close to meeting standard without a lotta help along the way.            Eighteen Charlie. Special Force engineer sergeants are specialists across a wide range of disciplines, from demolitions and constructions of field fortifications to topographic survey techniques.            Trouble was his tag with SOCOM, and it wasn't because he was cool. He caused it on mission more than effectively, on behalf of the teams, and didn't stop back behind the wire when it was generally not needed or in his own best interest.            So… Trouble had run his mouth about the general current state of affairs, and if he wasn't so highly decorated that some of his awards were redacted, and so competent at the delicate art of high explosives… then he might have found himself with an even lower rank and very little retirement in light of the various courts martial and articles of offense.            But he knew real bad guys in high places even there at the end of all things. And so, he'd gotten a chance to walk with some retirement and rank for the last six months of America.            “Then get it done, and don't be that guy,” Hardy growled. Trouble liked to talk it up when things were getting thick. And things were getting definitely thick.Like the song lyrics from long ago Trouble always had running… It was distracting. Not to mention, Trouble had a tendency to sip his own cool aid, or so Hardy thought. “Got more coming.”Matter of fact statement. No drama. It was about to be get-it-on-thirty in the midnight yard of bad decisions and insertion behind enemy lines with assets to deny and mayhem to be caused.            The sound of rushing boots thumping across the wet concrete was getting louder, as was the group barking loudly in Mandarin the way the Chinese do as they approached the x they had no idea they were walking onto. It was funny how the Chinese all ran the same way, or at least, that's how it sounded to Hardy. And it… bemused him. He was a thinker, and he'd never have used that ten-cent word on the teams. But in his mind, that and other words like it… they were there. He was a reader, and a thinker. And so, to Hard Luck all the Chinese seemed to have that same mincing pitter-patter run where they never really stepped it out like they were Usain Bolt intent on not just winning… but winning with icing. It was like watching that cartoon Martian run while trying to nab a, “P-32 ulidium space modulator!”            Or whatever it was.            Of course, the newer generation had no clue about good ol' Marvin, but that didn't mean it wasn't funny.            And…            “Sucks to be them,” exhaled Hard Luck and readied the shotty for sudden thunder.            The Chinese shouts changed to whispers as the pitter-patter running soldiers got to the container group close to the two operators. Hardy knew the trick. Direct the guys into the target, then shift to the radios to keep their opponents guessing as to what came next. Only, the two operators had seen this particular Chinese trick before, as this wasn't the first time he and Trouble had gone up against the Puffies.            Of course, their enemy didn't refer to themselves as Puffies because their units always went about with names to make them feel special. Hardy got the intel on these mooks a couple of weeks ago when Trouble blew up that cargo ship down in the gulf. They'd called themselves Thunder of the Gods and gay stuff like that. Because of course they did. And this was a reference to the People's Liberation Army Air Force's Airborne Brigade.            Which was who they were facing today. This was their operation area on the road to New Orleans.            Now, sounding all that out had been a mouthful for the various teams rolling out of the SRC, and instead of just shortening it to PLAAF, it came out like Puff. The few Puffies that Hardy's unit had managed to capture and talk to, got all sorts of mad about the slur. Which was great when they caught and released a few of them to spread the legend of the Special Reconnaissance Companies SOCOM had deployed into Occupied America. Get the rest of the Puffies all nervous about facing an invisible covert military force hiding in plain sight within the subjugated population.            Ghosts in the night in plain sight.            And deadly ghosts at that.            Some of the SRC teams had even conducted massacres that were simply bone-chilling so the Chinese could have their very own boogie men to be afraid of in the night.            What had Colonel Spear said when he created the Special Recon Teams for SOCOM as it waged its war out of what remained of North Carolina and the battle lines down in Georgia… "Now they will know why they are afraid of the dark. Now they learn why they fear the night."            One of the nerdy Green Berets, an 18 Delta, had told everyone that was a line from Conan the Barbarian. No one cared and all agreed it was as cool as it gets. And if there's anything Green Berets love… it's cool stuff that's super deadly. See the tats since ‘Nam for examples. Cobras, skulls, knives… women.            The Puffies had rightly guessed Trouble and Hardy would eventually come after this cargo depot along the gulf after they'd slagged that cargo ship. So, the Chinese high command out of New Orleans had deployed a company of PLAAF airborne forward in the hopes word would get out, and the “American GI special forces terrorists” prowling the Area of Operations North of New Orleans would come and enter the dragnet the PRC had thrown across much of the South and Southwest of what the maps once called the United States of America. They were anything but united. Most of the States that remained were fighting for themselves with what little was left of their veterans and National Guard. What was known as “Caliphistan” centered around the Midwest out of Michigan, was engaged in a brutal no-holds-barred plains war with the Chinese 3rd Army and being supplied and trained by SOCOM with what could be begged, borrowed, or stolen.California was behind enemy lines except for Marine-held San Diego and some warlord in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and parts of San Bernardino proclaiming an independent nation called Vanistan and being held by heavily armed and mobile militia. They had vans.            Hardy scanned the angles and shadows of the cargo containers past where Trouble was working.            Their night vision had been a step up from what he'd had when he'd been a regular grunt. The overhead lighting shining down on them from gantries and industrial light towers of the cargo yard situated around the cargo docks didn't even factor in to how these new NODs worked out in the dark. Running next gen night vision based on the ENVG-B—still in use—their gear just factored in the lighting and highlighted anything warmer than the surroundings. Complex motion tracking fed into augmented reality, highlighted potential targets and let the soldier see in complex low light conditions.            “Trubs,” Hardy said quietly into his throat mic. “Hooking out to get an angle on our new friends.”            “Gonna leave me here all by my lonesome,” Trouble joked. “You know… I'm afraid of the dark, right?”            “NODs and that red lens you're working ain't enough?” Hardy asked.            Trouble waved the flashlight in the direction of the incoming Puffies. “Seriously, come over here and hold my hand while I finish this. You know how I get.”            Hardy knew all too well, which is why he left his partner alone to finish his chore.            He slipped past several of the containers, then used a small stack of metal frames to vault himself to the top of the nearest CONEX. The cargo containers were the standard variety, so he had to move cautiously as he jumped, then crept across the top of the ribbed metal box. Walk too fast and he'd sound like he was pounding on a metal drum with each footstep. After jumping across several of the boxes, Hardy had a good line of sight to Trouble and several avenues of approach.            The operator leaned into the shadows against the cargo container stack, then removed his cell phone from the sleeve pocket of his patrol parka. Set to lowlight conditions, the EUD—End User Device—was loaded with the latest and greatest ATAK interface, allowing Hardy to act as a battlefield information hub. The screen was already pinging two angles of approach off the trip sensors Hardy had placed when they'd first snuck into the yard.            The fact they were coming at all worried the veteran operator. He scratched the few days' worth of stubble on his chin, trying to figure where they'd botched the insert and alerted this security detail tasked with holding the yards. The Chinese had their own version of EUDs, and if they ran something like the Android Team Awareness Kit, all it would've taken was for Hardy and Trouble to trip a sensor they'd missed, and the soldier responsible for the zone would have called it in.            Hardy shook his head, internally bashing himself for not being more careful. It's why they'd taken to calling him Hard Luck for his call-sign. Throughout his military career and now out in the Special Recon Companies, he'd never found a stretch of bad luck that didn't stick to him. And that included being partnered with Trouble.            That guy was bad luck personified.            Looking up from his EUD, Hardy saw the Chinese first fire team angling on the objective. A single soldier with three more behind him was trying to pie the corner as though this was the first time he'd done it for real. Hardy had to give the Asian kid credit though, he was sticking his QBZ-191 rifle around the corner, trusting the optic to broadcast whatever was past the CONEX to his night vision, so the soldier didn't have to stick his head in the open and get it blown off.            SOCOM's PsyOps guys had made sure all the illegal social media sites still operational were filled with GoPros of Chinese guys getting their heads blown off. Some of them were even real. AI made the rest.            Hard Luck, that internal monologue, that thinking machine he was, a thinking-killing machine who'd even had profound thoughts while running a belt fed two-forty in a hostile combat zone and laying some serious hate, that thinking machine he was always… wondered…            Warfare had gotten weird when advanced sighting devices operated on wireless link tech and rifles could see around corners.            It wasn't… fair. But when was war ever fair. He'd seen enough kids get talked into it only to end up lying in the tall grass by some road a few days later. Just where he'd left them.            No, there was nothing fair about war.            Now that it wasn't close quarters in the dark, he gently let the shotty slide back under his old “down and out in occupied America” hobo-coat and shucked the heater.            The heater.            It wasn't an issued weapon. There were very few issued-weapons for SOCOM, and all the kids and whoever would show up to get trained on them and sent out to die in any of the seven directions the heartland was being attacked from. Plus… shipping and transport weren't easy.            In the SRTs everything went on your back just like the old LRRP teams in Vietnam. And you looked like a hobo so you could pass with all the refugees, transients, and mad homeless displaced by the war, or just… whatever.            You looked like a hobo because you were… a hobo.            The heater was his own personal truck gun he'd dragged everywhere from Bragg to wherever he got stationed along the way.            Everything on it was his. Paid for by his salary. Just in case it hit the fan. Just in case he got invaded at home one night, wherever home happened to be between deployments. Honestly, he'd never thought he'd need it for what he was using it for now.            A domestic insurgency.            But he sure had built it to do the trick.            It was a Daniel Defense MK18 with a ten-inch threaded barrel he could go quiet with. He had jungle-mags ready to go and one stack in. Along the barrel he had illuminate and IR. He'd added a BCM foregrip and done some work with the internals to get it just where he wanted it to run. He had a match grade flat-trigger because that felt best for the tap. The optic was a basic Aimpoint T-1. It didn't look tactical-cool guy but if you knew you knew. The T1 was a great optic system if you needed to keep both eyes open and see everything while keeping the dot on target.            And in the SRTs, outnumbered, behind lines, running gun fights and using everything and being as aware as possible, wasn't just optimal or maximal… it was vital to continued birthday parties.            Hardy lined up his optic to target and let the heater bark. The first round caught the kid in the neck, splattering a good amount of the kid's blood across the CONEX's side panel. The assault took the trio behind the kid by surprise, forcing them to turn and instantly shoot in all directions except up because they weren't fighting Batman. Hardy covered behind the metal boxes, trusting their contents to bullet sponge enough of the bouncing rounds to keep him from getting accidentally blasted.            Then… leaning from cover, Hardy put a trio of shots that tore off the commie soldier's face, before transitioning to the third trooper in the stack. Then he sent more rounds sailing past the number three paratrooper's chin and behind the space at the top of his chest where the armor didn't cover.            And thinking-killing machine he was… he reflected that it was good “commie” was back in use as the dirty word it really was.            It was the truth.            And it was always good to stack them.                       The fourth Chinese paratrooper decided to run for it when he couldn't find the spot the shooting was coming from. In a show of solidarity, he grabbed the trooper who'd just soaked up rounds behind his chest plate, dragging the downed soldier to cover with him.            Probably thinking he was gonna get a medal someday for this.            Poor Schmoe, thought Hard Luck, guy didn't observe the first rule of combat first aid, and it was going to cost him. Now. Hardy lined up the optic dot to the soldier's hip, having already figured out the sight was probably off because he'd been shooting center mass but hitting high. The thinking but really killing machine part of his mind doing that math too… and then his suspicion got confirmed when the rounds punched into the spot on the Chinese soldier's back right behind and beneath his shoulder, once again where their PLA armor didn't cover.            The round tore into the kid's torso, punching him to the ground next to his friend he was gonna rescue and get a medal for, and twenty years after, they'd drink Tsing Taos and celebrate a ChiCom-dominated world they'd made happen, with their little part, and managed to survive as they watched their loud children shout, and their pretty wives dote over them. Now both PLA troopers gasped for air and coughed out blood-soaked ragged Chinese, definitely drawing all sorts of attention to the hate he'd laid on them. Now we wait, he thought.Killing Machine taking over in the night and the dark and the mist.            Hardy jumped across the space to the next set of containers, allowing him to get a better view of the opposite line of advance. “Trouble, how long, man?”            The radio broke squelch in the small earpiece he wore under his hood. “Hard Luck, this is Trouble, coming at you with all the classic rock your ears can swallow!”            Great, Hardy thought. Could this guy really not take anything seriously?            The operator pushed the toggle for his PTT and growled, “Trubs, how long?”            “Closing it up now,” Trouble said. “Moving to zone two, pushing out at the crane, toward the water.”            “Roger out,” Hardy said, cutting the comms.            They'd sand-tabled this. They'd done it many times without each other in other teams not this one and other days better than this. And together, lately, Hard Luck and Trouble were becoming known for this little act of behind the lines terrorism.            Miss USA on the Nightly Free America Broadcast has even noted them in the scramble codes sent to the military and operators as far behind lines as North Dakota and New Mexico where the Chinese ran their death camps night and day, and hope is just a voice in the night right now. Near the end of the broadcast. Her warm voice coming in clear.            “Chris… sleeps until dawn.”            “The number is forty-two.”            “And to all the patriots listening tonight out there in the dark… Our boys with the Raiders and the Packers thank two particular hobos for their roadside assistance at Route Twenty-Four with the Chinese Column moving in on Nashville that was causing many patriots in the area much Hard Luck and Trouble. The supplies are through, and the children have been evacuated back into the Homeland behind the Green Zone. Thank you, boys.”            Then…            “There's a match in Peterborough. No Slack in effect.”            And finally…            “That's the news for tonight, America. Stay in the fight. We aren't done yet. Good night. And now… The Star Spangled Banner. The lights are still on.”            Both men had listened in that night after a long and very hard day on the hump, sleeping in a wet ditch out near a county road. It was cold. They'd said nothing. In the dark a few minutes later, Trouble spoke. He was gonna take first watch as they faded off the hit, avoiding Chinese Air Cav Hunter killer teams that had been roaming the countryside in HINDs.“She sounds hot, Hardy. Like that girl on the White Snake video back in the day. Remember her?”“Yeah,” said Hard Luck with his poncho pulled over him and the shotty in one hand nearby on his pack. “I do.”Pause.Then…“Do you think she's hot? Miss USA.”Hard Luck was fading. Dreaming that dream he never told anyone about. But just before he'd fallen asleep, he said, “I think she's good, Trouble. And that's what makes her beautiful.”And then Trouble might have grunted or said, “Okay.” But Hard Luck had gone to that other world that didn't exist anymore. Yesterday, some call it.But that wasn't now. Now they were in the fight in the supply yard with the PLA airborne thinking they had them right where they wanted them, barking Mandarin radio chatter and thumping hard heavy too-short-step boots and even untargeted fire at ghosts and phantoms in the mist. They were conscripts after all. They were afraid. Afraid of the PRC. And now, down range and right near the boogie men… they were afraid of the hobos that had come for them.            Another fire team of Chinese paratroopers slowly advanced to the corner of the new row of containers Hardy now faced. They mimicked the first group of soldiers, sticking their rifles around the corner to let the optics assume the risk. When they dropped their field of view on the fire team dying across from them, they retreated from the corner and broke out in a heated conversation of harsh whispers.            Yeah, the operator could smell their fear.            Behind the dying paratroopers on the ground Hard Luck had put rounds on target into, a third fire team slowly advanced, careful not to get too close to the fatal CONEX corner. They fanned out, with the tail man in the stack launching a slick matte-black drone.            Hushing-hushing in the way of Chinese battle-speak.            That was smart of them, Hardy thought. Get some eyes in the air and cover the ground quickly to find their targets. What they didn't count on was Trouble sliding in behind them, running his knife out the front of the drone trooper's neck, starting from somewhere near his ear. The battlefield surgery was grizzly, wet work, but Trouble seemed to be totally cool with it, going so far as to gently lay the soldier down and relieve him of his drone controller even as his buddies, soon to be bodies, were eyes forward and fighting for the Fatherland or whatever the godless b******s believed in these days.            With a few deft taps on the screen, Trouble had a good grip on the flight mechanic and stepped back into the shadows, fading from the fire team of Chinese paratroopers. Hardy watched as his wingman sailed the drone across the cargo yard, dropping it in line with the enemy crew close to him. They froze in place, unsure of what to make of the machine hovering in front of them at eye level.            “Hard Luck, this is Trouble. If you wouldn't mind taking advantage of the little distraction I just created, I'd appreciate it.”            There were times when James “Hard Luck” Hardy really wanted to punch his partner straight up in the grill. They all paled in comparison to those times when Trouble just couldn't be serious about an operation. Times like now.            Hardy reached into his pack, pulling a grenade from where it was taped to the inside. He yanked the pin and let the spoon fly. After mentally ticking off a count of One Mississippi, the operator flicked the weapon over the CONEX boxes to land in the middle of the fire team.            The grenade rolled and then popped, its kinetic fury suddenly and obnoxiously ignoring the Chinese soldiers' armor and planting them onto the pavement in piles of ruined meat and shredded gear.To them it was sudden and brutal, and none of the Chinese propaganda about “a glorious war of liberation” matched their violent deaths. The close proximity to the cargo containers funneled some of the blast and over-pressure across the way, startling the final team of Chinese paratroopers on approach to where they thought their boogie men might be. This group stumbled backward behind the cover of the containers, suddenly shouting in their hushed and harsh speech pattern… only to come face to face with Trouble ready to take advantage of their surprise, as they'd retreated to where they thought they might be safe.Trouble's thoughts were synched to “Breakin' the Law” by Judas Priest as he assessed the funnel they'd been forced into. The funnel and area they'd chosen as… safe.“Ain't nowhere safe in America for you,” hissed the operator.            He muzzle-thumped the first man to see he was there, pushing the suppressed Berretta pistol into the soldier's throat. The paratrooper doubled over, coughing and holding his throat after the hit. Trouble lowered himself at the same time, using the stunned soldier as cover. Angling to the side, the predatory operator sent two rounds into the lower torso of the next guy in the stack, dropping him to the concrete. He lowered the pistol to the man recovering from the throat hit, sent a round through the top of the man's boot, then followed him through a series of pain-soaked hops as he tried to recover his balance.            This was a song.            Just like all the ones he'd learned on his guitar as a kid. And they were his sheet music as he moved them about in a fatal dance of lead and death at twenty-four hundred feet per second.            Seeing how quickly things had devolved into chaos, the last man ran into the intersection, probably hoping the smoke and noise of the grenade going off in the intersection would hide his escape. All it did was bring him into Hardy's sight picture, where the concealed operator put a single round into the soldier's leg, adjusting the aim on the scope he needed to re-zero next chance he got. The paratrooper tumbled into the stack of bodies from the first fire team to get murked, a bloody mess on the ground really, screaming as he pushed himself to his back and frantically whirled his rifle in any and all directions.            In a moment of clarity, the surviving para realized the nature of his injury. He expertly pulled a tourniquet from a pouch on his armor, then slid the contraption over his leg before tightening it down.            “Fàngxià nǐ de wǔqì!” Trouble hissed from around the corner. The man had hugged the shadows until he got in position, then slid from the dark holding a confiscated QBZ-191.            The Chinese soldier held his hands out wide at seeing his own style battle rifle pointed at him. He let the rifle slip from his fingers, while glaring daggers at Trouble coming in. As the dark and dirty man advanced, the paratrooper used his good leg to push himself against the other bodies and prop up to a sitting position.            Trouble looked the part of a hobo riding the rails. He had an old-style military trench coat over a hoodie covering his normally unkempt hair. His beard was wispy, with patches of hair not growing in for some reason or another. His dirty military-style civilian pants seemed to have as many stains as they did pockets, lending credence to looking like someone who slept among the garbage. Trouble advanced on a set of well-worn high-top sneakers, complete with the Velcro strap at the top, a look no kid on either side of the Chinese militarized zone would be caught dead wearing.            He got a few yards from the downed soldier, then repeated, “Move the weapon away,” in Chinese. He spoke with the inflection and tone of someone who knew the language intimately, although he'd never be truly taken as a native speaker.            Trouble hovered over the man, both staring at each other over the sound of the paratrooper breathing rapidly after being badly wounded. The man flinched, and Trouble sent a single round center mass of the downed soldier's face. He immediately brought the carbine in line with the hopping foot injury guy, finishing him off with a series of quick staccato shots administered with cold brutality and efficiency.            Weapon up.            Bang bang bang.            Weapon low and ready, scanning dark eyes for who else wants to die next.            “You good?” Hardy asked over the net in the silence that followed.            “Yeah. Guy on his butt was gonna try for the grenade he had on his kit. No sense in both of us dying.”            “Give me a minute to scoop up their EUDs. Maybe the I&R guys can pull something off them,” Hardy said.            “I'll scoop some of these rifles and this sweet, sweet ammo, my brother-man,” Trouble said, holding the Chinese carbine. “Might as well take their NODs too. Haul like this and we could be into some serious cash if we sell it all at the general store.”            “I'll help you take some of it,” Hardy said as they both fell into the work of battlefield scavenging and asset management. “But hey, I ain't carrying a backpack full of rifles looking like a walking Middle East bazaar.”            Trouble laughed and made a cat's low owwwwwwww like he was some rock singer hamming it up just before the bridge in some long-lost metal anthem.            “Recycled due to lack of motivation,” announced Trouble. Both had been graduates of the Darby Queen and Robert Rogers school for wayward boys.            Hardy had already grabbed several of the soldiers' battle boards when his own piped off from inside his jacket.Hardy checked the sitrep from the observers. Then… “Hey. More troops coming in. Gotta rabbit.”            “But, but, all the gear,” whined Trouble. “I can do some stuff with this, Brother.”            “Fine,” Hardy quipped. “You stay and get all the shwag. I'm avoiding the Chinese infantry platoon and jumping back into the water. Discuss division of assets with them and whatever indirect and air support that's all hot and bothered right now at oh-two hundred.”            Trouble scooped up a few more rifles, then fell in step with his partner, catching up swiftly, eyes roving across all sectors each knew was their own. In moments consumed by fog and shadows, just two down and out tramps on the hump to the next refugee camp, work-gang project, handout, UN FEMA camp for indoc and digital ID assignment.Just two shadows in the night.“Time to get wet,” muttered one. “Well, when you put it like that,” hissed the other, each laboring under a huge pack, stepping it out like they were late for a better tomorrow that might just happen. “I am a bit swampy after all that work we just did. Maybe the right thing here is a nice dip in the ocean to cool a man off. Even if it is late.”Sirens began to sound in the distance. Doomsday and mournful. The music of a fallen America.A gunship could be heard in the swamps to the west. Coming in fast. Its echo thundering and reverberating off the bayous and swampy hills.“Got some blood on my hands.”“Bummer, dude.”And then they were gone. For those that wanna buy us a coffee until the next chapter drops. SummaryIn this episode, Ron Hayes, Jason Loftus and Mark Raycroft's primary goal was to answer Listener questions, but they quickly get lost catching up on past trips and discussing the ethical questions around image manipulation and the newly developing confounding factor of AI-generated images on social media. They also delve into the challenges and opportunities presented by new technology in the field of photography. The recent trip conversation covers Mark's spring canoe adventure into Algonquin Park's interior and Jason and Ron's trip to Yellowstone, where they discuss the significance of shared nature experiences with family. But the piéce de résistance in this episode is the Listener questions which dive deep into the questions around photographers' facial hair and aging, photography ruts, GoPro use and more. They also get a little more serious and discuss positive social media interactions and the importance of sharing positive encounters in wildlife photography.TakeawaysMark's experiences on his canoe camping adventure in Algonquin ParkVisiting Yellowstone and sharing nature experiences with family can be a meaningful and memorable experience. The significance of introducing family members, especially children, to wildlife and nature experiences. The importance of ethical considerations in the photography industry and the impact of AI on photographers and their work. The impact of AI on stock images and the ethical implications of using AI-generated images. In their search for the truth, they have used various methodologies which have led to finding areas of activity, possible family and breeding sites, footprints, and hair. They were able to forensically compare their specimens with local domestic and livestock animals. They have built their tech and equipment skills with everything from game cameras, audio recorders, thermal video cameras, GoPros and more. They enjoy sharing their variety of experiences and like to help to teach others about field related subjects such as Quantum Physics and Quantum Entanglement, and the connection between Sasquatch, Skunk Ape, Cryptids, Orbs, and UFOs through YouTube Channel, Facebook Group, and speaking events. The legends of Bigfoot go back beyond recorded history and cover the world. In North America - and particularly the Northwest - you can hear tales of seven-foot-tall hairy men stalking the woods, occasionally scaring campers, lumberjacks, hikers and the like all over the world! Bigfoot is known by many titles with many different cultures although the name Bigfoot is generally attributed to the mountainous Western region of North America. The common name Sasquatch comes from the Salish Sasquits, while the Algonquin of the north-central region of the continent refer to a Witiko or Wendigo. Other nations tell of a large creature much like a man but imbued with special powers and characteristics. The Ojibway of the Northern Plains believed the Rugaru appeared in times of danger and other nations agreed that the hairy apparition was a messenger of warning, telling man to change his ways. North American settlers started reporting sightings during the late 1800s and into the 1900s with the occasional finding of footprints, sporadic encounters and even a few grainy photos and videos adding to the mystery. Those who claim to have seen Bigfoot have described everything from a large, upright ape to an actual hairy human, sometimes standing over eight feet tall and described as powerfully built. The debate and research continue. Entire organizations exist to study and document Bigfoot and prove its existence and groups regularly search the Northwest woods, looking for that ultimate proof. Bigfoot, also commonly referred to as Sasquatch, is a large and hairy human-like mythical creature alleged by some to inhabit forests in North America, particularly in the Pacific Northwest. Bigfoot is featured in both American and Canadian folklore, and since the mid-20th century has grown into a cultural icon, permeating popular culture and becoming the subject of its own distinct subculture. In 2019, the FBI released its four-decade-old file on Bigfoot including an analysis conducted on hair that allegedly belonged to the sasquatch. The results? Deer hair. Legends of large, ape-like beasts can be found all over the world. Since the 1950s, the U.S. version has been "Bigfoot," a tall, hairy humanlike creature believed by some people to dwell in forests of the American Northwest. Sightings and even pictures have emerged, prompting research and raising questions about whether the creature, also known as Sasquatch, was real. https://grizzlyllc.myshopify.com https://paranormalhub.com/grizzly-hunt #bigfoot #yeti #sasquatch #sasquatchchronicles #findingbigfoot #expeditionbigfoot #cryptids --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/grizzly-onthehunt/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/grizzly-onthehunt/support

Riding Shotgun With Charlie #199 Brad Landseadel Central Virginia Sporting Clays   A trip to Central Virginia Sporting Clays last July led to another trip in October. I headed down to CVSC with good friends John Petrolino and Cam Edwards. On the first trip, we encountered Brad Landseadel, the owner. He's a great guy and started telling us some jokes. We got to talking, telling him what we do. John wrote an article about the trip. Cam suggested we should do this again. John said I should film a show with Brad. Brad suggested we do the show in one of his planes. On the trip in fall, I brought the GoPros and filmed a show from a shotgun cart driving around the path of the stations.. It was a bit noisy with the cameras rattling for 7 minutes  but we stopped and the audio was better.    Brad started Central Virginia Sporting Clays back in 2007. He grew up in a military family and they traveled often. He had a career in the government. When he got married he took a job doing construction. They ended up in central Virginia when they retired. Moving to this area, they finally felt at home. Brad said most of the gun clubs were private clubs with a waiting list so he started his own.     Not growing up hunting or shooting, shotguns didn't become an interest until he blew out his knee playing basketball. After some surgeries and recoveries, he was still moping around the house. His wife told him he needed to find something to do and suggested he go shotgunning. Without having any shooting experience, he found out that the gun community is full of great people who want to help you learn about firearms, safety, and shooting. He found the comradery, friendship, and competitiveness he was missing from basketball on the range. Naturally, he's made lifelong friends from the shooting sports.    Some of the challenges of running a sporting clays range include getting the town to be on board with all of the permitting needed. Currently, his property is just under 400 acres. He bought it little by little, starting with 95 acres. He bought more property as it came up. Adding more land parcels keeps any neighbors from getting close or complaining about noise levels. He buys the land, takes the timber off, sells it, and uses those funds to purchase more land.    When we were there, Brad unfortunately locked himself out of his house. So he needed to tend to getting into the house. With that excitement, he forgot to give us score cards. We went into the office and picked up the clipboard and white sheets, thinking that was the easiest course of fire. Turns out, we were wrong. It was the hardest course. John was wondering if Brad was hitting the sauce when he layed out the white course. We all shot less than we usually would, but still had a great day.    One of the wonderful things about CVSC is that every 30 days, Brad changes the course of fire. He's out there moving the targets around so every month is different. It takes a day for him to move the throwers and make changes. There are four throwers at most stations. The next day he goes out and shoots the course himself. If there's something he can't hit, he makes adjustments. The throwing machines at CVSC have timed delays so someone could go out and shoot a round alone. But it's always more fun with friends.   They have shotguns to rent and ammo to buy at CVSC. The rental fees aren't much and the cost per box is about what you'd pay at your local gun shop. Of course shotgun carts are available for rent, too. I'd always suggest getting the carts. There's a lot to lug around: guns, ammo, water bottles, cigars, etc. Throughout the year, they host some fun shoots and competitions. He offers some instruction, too, so if you need help you'll get it. Obviously, safety is the top concern. But after that, having a good time is a close second when it comes to what's important.    If you find yourself in central Virginia, you need to take an afternoon and shoot some clays at CVSC. I'm looking forward to going back and filming a show from his plane. As long as I can get a higher score than Petrolino, it'll be a great day! Favorite quotes: “I haven't left a single target out there, I don't leave any of them, if I can't hit them.” “I did shoot trap and skeet... As soon as I found sporting clays, I was hooked.” “When we're out here shooting, it's all an even platform.” “Want to hear something unfair? This is me at work.” “I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't womanize. I have airplanes and guns.”   Central Virginia Sporting Clays https://www.centralvasportingclays.com/ Second Amendment Foundation https://secure.anedot.com/saf/donate?sc=RidingShotgun    Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms https://www.ccrkba.org/     Please support the Riding Shotgun With Charlie sponsors and supporters.    Buy RSWC & GunGram shirts & hoodies, stickers & patches, and mugs at the store! http://ridingshotgunwithcharlie.com/rswc-shop/   Dennis McCurdy Author, Speaker, Firewalker http://www.find-away.com/   Self Defense Radio Network http://sdrn.us/   Buy a Powertac Flashlight, use RSWC as the discount code and save 15% www.powertac.com/RSWC   SABRE Red Pepper Spray  https://lddy.no/1iq1n   Or listen on: iTunes/Apple podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/riding-shotgun-with-charlie/id1275691565

Transcript of Interview with Mark Weitzman: Manya Brachear Pashman:   One could easily say the October 7 Hamas invasion and massacre in Israel is one of the most well-documented terrorist attacks in history. Dozens of smartphone cameras and GoPros filmed Hamas terrorists crossing the border between Gaza and southern Israel murdered more than 1000 soldiers and civilians and kidnapped more than 200 others, the deadliest antisemitic attack since the Holocaust. But just like the scourge of Holocaust denial, October 7th denial is growing. Mark Weitzman is the chief operating officer of the World Jewish Restitution Organization, a nonprofit that pursues claims for the recovery of Jewish properties lost during World War Two.  He's also the lead author of the working definition of Holocaust denial and distortion for the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance known as IHRA, and chairs the IHRA Working Group on museums and memorials.  As we approach International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Mark has joined us to discuss how we can make sure the world does not forget or deny any atrocities committed against Jews.  Mark, welcome to People of the Pod. Mark Weitzman: Thank you very much for the invitation to be here. Manya Brachear Pashman:   Mark, you are an expert on Holocaust denial and distortion. What does it have in common with the denial we're seeing around October 7?  Mark Weitzman: I think there are clear connections between people who are downplaying or distorting the events of October 7, and those that engage in Holocaust distortion or hardcore Holocaust denial, because both are linked by an attempt to try to explain what is for them an uncomfortable historical reality that targeted Jews, whether the Holocaust or the events of October seventh, to justify their preconceived political agenda, which often includes an antisemitic conspiracy theory, either as its base or as its method to achieve their goals.  One of the root causes of Holocaust denial distortion, from the antisemitic perspective, is the attempt to say that since the Holocaust, there is a certain sympathy for Jews as victims, and sometimes that turns into political sympathy or support for the State of Israel. Sometimes it turns into actions that are pro-democracy or anti-racist in terms of society and saying that we've seen what happened in Auschwitz, we don't want our society to go in that direction. So we're going to take certain positive steps. Those people who want to turn the clock back to a world where people could still be judged by their religion, their race or whatever signifier, often have to grasp with the Holocaust. It's the paradigm of what can happen when society turns evil.  The same thing in the sense is at the root of October 7 denial. It's the attempt to say that, Oh, no, we don't want to allow any sympathy to Jews or Israelis, we have to justify it or explain it away in a way that allows us to accept the reality of what it happened, because denying it puts you in a really sort of cuckoo cage of denying what's obvious to everyone what happened there.  So in this sense, in a particular sense, it can be by saying that, Oh, yeah, it happened there. The Israelis were killed, but they were killed by the Government of Israel. The hostages were not really taking the Gaza, they're actually hidden in Israeli buildings or holdings. That, you know, this is all part of a plot by Israel and the US government, aimed at undermining the Palestinian narrative and drive for freedom. But the goal there is similar, it's to grapple with a reality that most people would find repugnant. An anti semitic reality. The latest poll in the US shows 80% of the US population support Israel versus Hamas. And in an attempt to justify their stance, their pure antisemitic stance, they have to deal with that reality. And so you can't ignore it, you can say it didn't happen. Since as you pointed out, it's one of the most photographed and verified actions in recent memory. So you try to twist it away, and turn it on its head. Manya Brachear Pashman:   But how do people wrap their heads around this fantasy fiction? Mark Weitzman: These conspiracy theories are linked. And I don't think enough people have realized this or paid attention to it, that Hamas's original charter, 1988, actually quoted, literally quoted the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which is, as we all know, the Bible of antisemitic conspiracy theories.  And they literally based their charter, it's the only western document quoted in their charter, their original charter. And it links the events of October 7, with the history of antisemitic conspiracy theories. This is not an anti-Zionist document, the protocols, it's an anti-Jewish, antisemitic document. So there's a direct connection there.  The Holocaust is the most documented event in human history. There are films, there are millions and millions of pages of documents. There are so many archival records of survivors, of perpetrators, of war crimes tribunals that have, you know, judged and and entered into evidence, the effects of the Holocaust, the reality of the Holocaust, not just in the United States.  But look at the David Irving trial, the famous David Irving trial. But all the war crimes trials in Europe as well, to say that it did not happen, or to twist, it requires an effort of will. And it's not just on the individual level.  In our work at the WJRO, we see governments today that do not want to deal with restitution, and use manipulation of the Holocaust, to try to get out of it by claiming that it was all the Germans, the local collaborators had nothing to do with it, or that the numbers were inflated or that we don't know what the value was, what was really owned by by Jews at that time.  All sorts of methods used to evade trying to make some payment, some form of restitution, and then to survivors and part of our mission is to set forth and ensure that the historical record, even in terms of the theft of Jewish property, is well established.  So when we get to the events of October 7, particularly in an era where fake news, where people claim to believe all sorts of conspiracy theories, whether it's related to COVID, whether it's related to American election results, and a lot of these people kind of bond together. The underground of election denial and some of the anti-COVID extremists, and some of the Hamas or some of the October 7 deniers or distorters. Very often, they live in the same atmosphere, in the same basement, they imbibe the same fumes, they're in touch with each other. Very often they're cooperating or believe in similar conspiracy theories.  And this is one of the problems that we have as a society, amplified by social media, is to separate the real from the fake, and to try to limit and minimize the impact that the fake has on real life, on mainstream society, and politics, and culture, and so on. Manya Brachear Pashman:   So as I mentioned in the introduction, International Holocaust Remembrance is January 27. You just returned from a meeting with representatives of Holocaust institutions around the world. How did these museums come to be? I mean, was it a bricks and mortar movement to counter Holocaust denial, was it seen more broadly as a tool to fight antisemitism or something else entirely? Mark Weitzman: Well, I think that most of these came to be, first of all, through the efforts of survivors. In so many cases, it was the survivor community that were the driving force behind it. And yes, it was in response to antisemitism and to Holocaust denial. But those movements were not, in a sense, the dominant factors that we may think today.  It was a sense, I think, more of trying to pass on what they went through, both to the Jewish community, their children and grandchildren, and so on, but more importantly, to the community writ large, meaning that to the world at large, whether it's the US or the UK or Canada. They wanted people to learn the lessons from what they had gone through and survived. They wanted people to not to have to deal with the same things that they dealt with.  And it's fascinating to me, one of the most interesting things that I find in the field is that today, and not only a majority of visitors to Holocaust museums, the vast majority, are not Jewish. But the majority of people who work in these institutions are not Jewish either. There are people who have dedicated their lives to some second career, some it's, you know, a career long commitment to both studying and teaching and passing on lessons of the Holocaust.  So what began sometimes within the Jewish community, as a survivor-led effort, at this point, there are very few survivors still actively involved in this, especially, you know, on that level, and it's evolved into something that is broader and larger than just the Jewish community. Manya Brachear Pashman:   We had your colleague Rob Williams at the USC Shoah Foundation join us at the end of last year, and the Shoah Foundation is collecting testimonies from October 7 now. And I'm curious, are other Holocaust Memorial institutions developing programs or adding evidence from October 7, to their collections? Mark Weitzman: I think one of the things that came out at the meeting, which was at the Holocaust Museum in Washington about a month ago, was that these institutions are grappling with October 7, and it was very clear. And part of it is that most of these institutions had not tried to be politically based. In other words, they did not conceive of themselves as taking a political stance one way or the other. And the supercharged atmosphere of October 7, the events of October 7, the atmosphere post October 7, caught them, I think, by surprise, and they're still grappling with how to respond and how to react to it. There has been a tremendous amount of interest, of support. USC is leading the way with a tremendous effort of taping the survivor accounts and making them available. But I saw conversations, we had conversations from certain speakers in how to address October 7, how to deal with antisemitism in the wake of October 7. Because again, these are people who are not necessarily the the you're an expert in the Holocaust is that's really mean you're an expert in what's happening with Israel and Hamas and the Middle East, and, and so on. And it's a very different field, a very volatile field. And they're in a position that they had not anticipated. So I think that there was a shock. There's a strong sense of moral support, moral based support for Israel and the victims there, there is a strong commitment to, I think, keeping the message of releasing the hostages first and foremost in people's minds.  But how exactly to go about it, what the best way to achieve those goals is still something I think some of them are wrestling with. Some are doing even little things like one museum that I know of, has in their gift shop, a sort of small section of Israeli objects for sale, that the proceeds will go back to, you know, to some of the communities or some of the people in Israel who have been evacuated or need support. So it can be a small thing like that could be educational programs. It can be public statements that could be hosting events, it could be showing the testimony. It could be learning more about the background that led up to it. There are a lot of potential paths and ways that they're engaging with. And I think each of them are finding their own path right now. But they were in the process of grappling with something that they had not anticipated. And this is somewhat novel, for them to have to deal with. Manya Brachear Pashman:   Generally, do Holocaust institutions try to avoid Israel or kind of leave Israel out of their exhibitions, their collections, and really focus on the Jewish communities of their particular country? Mark Weitzman: I think it varies. I think that, you know, in a broad sense, they're not necessarily want to be seen up till now at least, as partisans in a political struggle or political battle. But there was clear recognition in so many of them you that you can't leave Israel out of the story, because you had survivors going to Israel. You had the Zionist youth groups, let's say in the Warsaw ghetto, and other places that It helps spearhead some of the revolts you, if you ignore those parts of the story of the narrative of the Holocaust, then, you know, you're not being true to the history of it. Would you show where survivors ended up after the war? Certainly, you know, a huge number of them, percentage wise ended up in Israel is one of the, you know, the prime spots for survivors to go to. You have many of them worked with Yad Vashem, for example, and have a relationship there. You have the righteous among the Gentiles, which is a story that almost all Holocaust museums wanted to have some focus on, because it's a prime example of non Jews responding in a positive way in the most dire circumstances, but the certification of who is a righteous Gentile came from Yad Vashem, in Israel. So there are, you know, inextricably linked to it, but you went, you didn't, and what they try to avoid, was taking a, you know, sort of a partisan position, should Israel do this action? Should this Israeli Government be supported against that Israeli government or, you know, so on and so forth.  But the broad idea of Israel's right to exist of Israel as a place of refuge for the survivors as Israel, a change in the narrative of the history of the Jewish people in the 20th and 21st centuries, all those had to be part of the story and are dealt with, but in different ways in in many of these institutions. Manya Brachear Pashman:   So you also traveled to Israel at the end of last year. And I'm curious up until now, how have Israelis talked about the Holocaust? Is it a cornerstone of their history as a modern nation, maybe not so much for the younger generations, and could October 7, connect some dots and change that? Mark Weitzman: Well, I led a small mission for the WJRO, and went down south to Kfar Aza. And also met with evacuees. And it was an incredibly moving experience. And the reality of what happened there, going to the exhibition on Nova, music festival is something that I don't think any of us who participated will ever forget.  And it was interesting, because we had two guides, from the Israeli army, from the spokespersons office from the Israeli army, two young women who were with us in Kfar Aza down at the border, one of the worst hit places. And they made the connection. And we had a Holocaust survivor with us, as well. And she made the connection.  And there was a resolve that, you know, this is something that we didn't think we would ever have to face firsthand. This kind of targeted destruction of Jewish civilian life. I don't think Israelis have fully come to grasp and understandably, with the implications of what happened, I think it may take even a generation or two, to kind of work this through in some ways, and I don't think…it may be premature to make judgments.  But I think that there's no question that hearing over and over again, the worst act of violence since the Holocaust, gives a frame and a context that is going to keep the Holocaust as part of the conversation about this. Israel prior to this, there have been a lot of efforts. I mentioned Yad Vashem earlier, it's certainly one of the cornerstones of a historical, cultural life in Israel. But it wasn't the only place, there were other kibbutzim, such as up north, Beit Lohamei Ha-Getaot, the ghetto fighters kibbutz that had the same similar mission of educating about the Holocaust. The Israeli government that no matter which party the Prime Minister belongs to, has always been very strongly supportive of Holocaust education. Has been a partner key partner of WJRO, and its work on restitution issues and efforts.  So the Holocaust has been, I think, part of the Israeli consciousness. But I think it was viewed as historical in many ways, this is what our grandparents went through. This is what happened over there in Europe. And now that reality is shifted a little bit, that, Oh, something that can be spoken about in the same sentence, not the same, not comparable in many ways. But it's here, and it's now.  Manya Brachear Pashman:   So how do the events of October 7 alter this year's observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day? Mark Weitzman: Throughout the world, I think you're going to hear a lot of linkage in a way of people saying that, we can't forget that, you know, what happened, the victims. So many places are involved, for example, in the reading of names of victims names. And yet, for many of us on a weekly basis, or whenever we can, we still read the names of the hostages, and try to get them returned in those efforts. So there are going to be you know, connections like that connections made about the threat, the ongoing threat to the Jewish people. The fact that since the Holocaust 80 years ago, we haven't faced anything like this, like we're facing today. Um, certainly in the West, the in the United States, the conversation is certainly going to include the fact that Jews are in an unprecedented situation in this country in terms of anti semitism.  The questions of the people trying to erode support for the existence and legitimacy of Israel take on much more significance, especially as they become much more high profile, the attempts. I'm sure there'll be part of, they are part of the political landscape for the forthcoming elections.  Manya Brachear Pashman:   AJC often cautions against comparing tragic events to the Holocaust because it risks trivializing the genocide of 6 million Jews. But I have heard well-meaning people make that comparison. In this case, is it a legitimate analogy? Mark Weitzman: Israel as a state, was able to strike back and respond in a way that Jews could not do during World War Two. Governments in the West–the UK, France, Germany, and so on the United States, of course, first and foremost, have responded forcefully defending Jews align themselves with Israel. Whereas governments in the West prior to World War Two, basically ignored, accepted or complicit in the Nazi actions. You know, those kinds of differences are significant. And the fact that as I said public opinion in the United States is firmly on the side of Israel compared to on the side of Hamas is also significant.  So I think we have to be careful about making kind of glib historical comparisons. We're not powerless today. We were powerless in the 1930s. But that doesn't mean that our situation is not problematic and dangerous for us today it is. And we have to recognize that. But we need to do that, factually and calmly and realistically, we need to find our allies. And they're our allies, in many places, and to work together with them. Because the threat to us, particularly today, from Hamas, and allied groups like that, and their supporters, whether from the extreme left, the so called progressives, or the extreme right, is a threat to liberal society, in general. And that's something that we need to be able to share, and to work with our allies to turn that thread back. Manya Brachear Pashman:   Mark, thank you for sharing your expertise and cautionary advice.  Mark Weitzman: Thank you very much. Manya Brachear Pashman:   If you missed last week's episode, be sure to tune in for my conversation with Dr. Matthew Levitt of the Washington Institute as he helped us make sense of the renewed terror threat, how Iran's terror proxies Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis are coordinating their strategy and attacks, and what the U.S., Israel, and its allies are doing to fight back.

The Alabama Freshwater Fishing report is your best resource for the Lake Guntersville Fishing Report, Weiss Lake Fishing Report, Lake Eufaula Fishing Report, and all the creeks, rivers, and reservoirs in between. This week we're talking to Steve Graziano, who is giving us the report on what you need to know to target bass effectively on Lake Eufala and the rest of the Chattahoochie River system. According to Steve, the ledge bite is hot right now and the fish are very predictable. He advises anglers to take advantage of that before the fall cooldown makes bass spread out. We also sit down with Loren Johnson (AKA “Lojo) to discuss how the Dothan native has grown one of the world's most popular Youtube fishing channels by just being, in his words, “a regular Joe going fishing.”  Join in to hear us talk talk Gopros, supportive wives, and the virtues of a red senko bait. Loren and I are both pond fishermen at heart, and I appreciated hearing his input on the top 3 summertime bass baits for pond fishermen. Sub-Antarctic "type D" killer whales are a very distinctive and rarely encountered ecotype of orcas found in the offshore waters of the Southern Ocean. Jared Towers, director of Bay Cetology, joins us in this episode to discuss his fascinating encounter with a group of "type D" killer whales and a recently published paper, “Type D” killer whale genomes reveal long-term small population size and low genetic diversity.      Before jumping into the discussion about his adventures to find "type D" killer whales, Jared and Jeff tell a story about a humpback whale mom and fresh newborn calf, maybe only hours old, they encountered offshore of Baja this winter on their charter with Apparent Winds. Jeff forgot to tell this story in episode 11, and since Jeff and Jared were there for the encounter this winter, they wanted to share this unique experience.   We then talk to Jared about his background, growing up in Alert Bay, BC, where he lives currently working with Bay Cetology as well as other organizations. After talking a bit about Bay Cetology and some of Jared's other encounters, he tells us about the challenges in finding "type D" killer whales and the conditions he had to endure in a 75 foot sail boat in the Southern Ocean.   Their persistence paid off and Jared recounts the story of how they came across a group of approximately 30 very curious "type D's" as the whales checked out the boat and the line of hydrophones and GoPros being towed behind. They were able to get the first fresh tissue biopsy samples so they could see how they compare to all other Southern Hemisphere killer whales.    Jared talks about the 3 individuals biopsied, a mother and 2 probable full siblings. We talk with Jared about the paper, the ecotype's low genetic diversity and the bottleneck they experienced in the past. Jared points out and discusses that in spite of their challenges, they have found a way to become wide spread and perhaps abundant compared to other inbred populations.    We conclude the episode discussing recent sightings in the Salish Sea. Sara and Jeff are running tours daily with Maya's Legacy Whale Watching and highlight some recent encounters with large groups of Bigg's killer whales, including the iconic T63, Chainsaw.    If you are enjoying listening to our podcast, please follow/subscribe, leave us feedback/reviews and share with your friends! From high-profile accidents to untimely demises, we'll examine the facts and conjectures that have fueled these controversial claims.   Follow us on social media & Subscribe to our newsletter: https://linktr.ee/theaustinjadams   Full Transcription:       Hello, you be to full people and welcome to the Adams Archive. Today is going to be a fun one. This week's episode is all about presidential body counts. You heard me write Presidential Body Council, and for some presidents that means something a little bit different than for other presidents, but we're going to explore both of them. From Donald Trump's recent alleged indictment, which is yet to happen over his financial woes payoff of Stormy Daniels, a porn star who allegedly he had an affair with. We'll get into the details, but that's one way of looking at a body count, , and then another way of looking at it is when it comes to, I don't know, Multiple, multiple dozens of bodies that surround the Clinton family. So I thought that would be a fun way to approach this. A little bit different than what everybody else is talking about. So we are going to jump into it all. Why is President Trump being indicted? What is going on with it? Why is it not seemingly happened yet? Is it even going to happen? I have some opinions about that. And then we'll get into the history of the Clinton family's body count. Stick around. It's gonna be a fun one. All right. But before we do that, go ahead and hit that subscribe button. Just takes about two seconds of your time, but it'll make you feel all fuzzy inside knowing that you are now a part of the Adams Archive Movement. That's right. All right. Hit that subscribe button. I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Leave a five star review if you are already subscribed. Uh, if you've already left a. And if you haven't, head over to the austin adams.subs.com and, uh, you'll be able to get the podcast companion, all the links, all the articles from this week's, uh, podcast, all the fun stuff. So head over there right now, austin adams.subs.com. And that's all I got for you for right now. All right, let's jump into it. The Adams archive.   All right. Now there is one reason that Trump hasn't been arrested. One reason there's only one. And you wanna know why? Because it's all bullshit. . It's all bullshit. The whole thing. The entire indictment. Okay. I, it's, it's crazy that this has even made headlines with how silly this entire legal situation is. Right. It's an obvious play by the judicial system. It's an obvious play, uh, by the left to kind of keep the smear campaign rolling. . So let's, let's talk about it. So the reason that Trump is being indicted right now is not because he paid, like every single article that you find about this says hush money,  he paid hush money,  and that's not even, that's not the reason. Right. The, the paying somebody hush money is not in the way that it was done illegal itself.  And, and essentially it wasn't hush money, it was an nda. He essentially paid a porn star, stormy Daniels, an n d a, to not come out with some type of expose in 2000 and sixteens, right around his presidential run. So he basically paid her to sign an NDA and say, we're not gonna talk about this,  we're not even gonna address this. Now, I'm not saying Trump didn. Get into it with Stormy Daniels. Um, and we can't add that one ding ding to his body count. Um, but that's, that's not the conversation at hand,  it's not, I guess, illegal to have sex with a porn star even when you're married. . It might be morally, ethically wrong to do so, but it's not something. President is going to go to jail over,  there's all these talks, like, oh, is he gonna be in handcuffs? Is he gonna be like, put into general population in, in the county jail prison system? Could you imagine what that would look like? A apparently there, there's everybody's saying that there's gonna be, like, the Secret Service is gonna be the one to get him, is it gonna be the secret service? Is it gonna be, you know, the, the local municipality, uh, police force? Right. Um, Who knows. And, and again, I don't think this is gonna happen. I do not think this will happen I think it's all bs. I don't think anybody's going to indict him. I don't think a jury would ever rule in favor of this, like silly, like basically, essentially what they're trying to charge him for is not the fact that he. Screwed a porn star when he was married. It's the fact that he paid her this NDA money through some type of, uh, some type of home equity line. That's what it's about. Basically, he, he mismarked where the money came from through his lawyer and then paid his lawyer back through monthly fees, is what they're alleging. Right. So it's like a, a movement of money ploy. It's, it's a financial misdemeanor. It's not even a felony. It's not even a felony that they're trying to charge with him with. It's a, it's a misdemeanor that they're trying to charge him with and they're making this huge fuss over. If you or I. First of all, I would never, nobody would ever care. Right. But. You'd probably get a letter from the irs. Nobody's showing up at your house. They're not commissioning thousands of police officers to shut down the road so that they can put you in handcuffs and get a little video of you walking to the police car and saying your Miranda rights.  This is all a little show. This is all a little facade, and we're gonna talk about maybe some things that I think that it's covering up for, but that's what I think about it it it, the, the crimes that they're accusing him of committing, first of all, even if they're accurate. And even if he did do these things, they're silly.  They're silly. You're not, you're not, you're, you're, you're, it's a smear campaign. It's not an actual movement to get him arrested. It's not an, it's, it's a weaponization of our judicial system to the, one of the worst, most like, egregious ways that we've ever seen that happen in the United States. He's a former president,  whatever you think about Trump, he's a former p. Right. Even Nixon was pardoned,  like obviously, I, I don't think Biden's gonna pardon Trump even if he gets, you know, not that he would need to based on a misdemeanor charge, but this whole thing is silly. It's, it's all bs. So. Let's, let's read this article here. It says, as the political landscape continues to heat up in the anticipation of the upcoming election, former President Trump finds himself at the center of a controversial case in Manhattan that has yet to result in an indictment. This case, which resolve revolves around a 2016 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, has sparked heated debates on whether the judicial system is being weaponized against Trump to hinder his chances of winning an. The fact that no former US president has faced an indictment begs the question, is the current political landscape going too far in pursuing charges against Trump? His historical accounts of presidents accused of felonious activities such as Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton revealed that these cases were pardoned or settled without charges. Howing a stark difference in the treatment of Trump's. Right, and that's not even to talk about Bill Clinton was literally getting one off under the desk. Under the desk in the Oval Office, talk about salacious acts and, and he was not being charged for it,  he, he like literally left office on that note and, and did not get charged, never went to jail. There was nobody, there was no rogue da like going out on a limb trying to go after him. I don't think that's what's happening. Obviously, this, he's, he's going after him specifically because of this payment. It's, it's, it's so ridiculous, the entire reasoning. So let, let's keep going. It says, furthermore, the crime in question seems to be a mere misdemeanor relating to the use of funds, which has already been disproven in the email released by Michael Cohen's counsel. The letter clearly states that Mr. Cohen used his personal funds to facilitate the payment that neither the Trump organization nor the Trump campaign reimbursed him directly or indirectly. It also argues that the payment does not constitute a campaign contribution or expenditure, and therefore the f e c of lecture jurisdiction over the matter,  and so, so Trump. Truth doubt. This is such a stupid term truth. Trump sent out a message on truth social with a letter that everybody is saying basically that they've already written this off. This has already been proven that it was not his money that was being paid out. Right. And whether it was a slight of hand or whatever, it's all still silly. But it goes on to say that amidst the fren he created by Trump's declaration of his potential arrest and a speculation of an imminent indictment, it is crucial to examine the facts and the broader implications of this. Well, it may seem like a mere misdemeanor. The unprecedented nature of his legal battle against a former president raises concerns about the potential weaponization of the JU judicial system for political game. And we saw this at Mar-a-Lago with documents that nothing ever came out of. Right. We saw this with the Russia, Russia, Russia, uh, hoax as the people would call it.  We saw this with, with it, it, we saw those so many times by now. The fact that any news station is even like, or, or maybe you can see the news stations and why they would give this samari, but the fact that any people in the political sphere, or even in the common. Civilian world is giving two shits about this. The fact that this is every headline on every news station across the country right now is silly. There's been so many attempts at arresting Donald Trump, and we know by now that absolutely nothing is gonna come of it. Absolutely nothing is gonna come.  No. If, if they would've had some great way of arresting Donald Trump, don't you think that it would've came out by now? Don't you think that during, you know, 2020, don't you think after Januarys. Sex, which, you know, he still hasn't been charged for anything there. Right. How many times have they tried to come after Trump and how many times has something actually come out of it? Zero. None. There has not been a single case where they, out of the multiple, multiple times that they've gone after Donald Trump, where anything at all has actually. Come of it,  this goes on to say that as the grand jury's decision remains uncertain, the public must remain vigilant and question the motivations behind the case. Is it the genuine pursuit of justice or is it merely a political tactic? Aim at discrediting Trump and diminishing his chances. In the upcoming election, history has shown that similar cases involving former presidents were treated with mere lenient, more leniency, and it is up to the citizens to ensure that the judicial system remains impartial and unbiased in its pursuit of justice. Now let's talk about that.  What I think out of this, and what I've heard several, several times by now, is that this is going to do nothing but help Donald Trump. This is going to do nothing but incite his followers to know. That exactly what he said all along is what's happening,  the swamp, the, the gators out there lurking beneath the surface. The murky political surface are just coming after Donald Trump once again with some, you know, and, and, and maybe it's not even the, the, the whole swamp. Maybe it's one guy trying to make his name off of some bs,  it, it, it's just the. So many negative things that come out of this for the left and so many positive things that come out of this for the right. Again, if nothing happens out of this, what do you think is gonna happen for his followers? What do you think is gonna happen when, when everybody realizes if they haven't already, which is be kind of silly on their part, that this is nothing but like a political game,  all this is gonna do is, is get his crowd, his followers, to further be motivated to go out and vote and to keep the narrative going.  I, I do not think, I do not think that this is the, this will be the end of Trump, and I don't think literally anybody who even believes that this is gonna go to a trial or he's gonna actually be arrested, think that either,  so if this is not going to hurt Trump in any way, all it's gonna do is. All it's gonna do is, is bring mo more voters out in 2024. And it's done nothing too. But like the Trump first DeSantis situation here is, is pretty interesting. DeSantis has come out and, and said that, well, I'm, I'm not gonna actively pursue Donald Trump because Trump basically went to Mar-a-Lago, um, during all of this. In Florida, and DeSantis said that, well, I, I'm not gonna go after Trump. I'm not gonna allow them to come in here and, and do that. I'm not gonna play the game. Now, I don't know what that actual division of power actually looks like. Like does he have the power to stop them from coming in there? I don't believe so. If it's a federal government, but it is New York going for him. Right. He, he's not gonna, um, they're, they're not gonna go. I don't know. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out and, . I just think nothing's gonna come of it. That's my personal opinion. And then maybe I'll be wrong and, and maybe we'll see a big huge, uh, headline tomorrow of, of Trump in, uh,  Trump in, in handcuffs being walked into a jail cell right now. Could you imagine like, there, there's gotta be somebody who can make a car, at least a cartoon of Trump getting arrested, going into general population, and then just like getting swarmed by people. And, uh, you know, all, all of the. People in the jail cells around him in general population and just . Like there's, there's gotta be a somebody who can make a cartoon of him just like beating the shit out of all of these inmates that are trying to attack him. But imagine how many people would be motivated in a jail cell to try to attack Donald Trump. I don't know. It's it, there's, there's a funny cartoon there somewhere that somebody could make. Um, alright, so let's keep moving on right there. There's far more people who should be being arrest. Then Donald Trump right now,  maybe it's Hunter Biden for one,  maybe we talk about Hunter Biden. Maybe it's the, I don't know, underage pictures of his niece that were found on his laptop, allegedly,  maybe it's the, uh, the, the, the text messages were he's basically grooming that same niece of his to meet up with him in a bathroom in some store, alleged. Maybe it's the, the, the $10,000 he asked his father for to pay off Russian prostitutes. Allegedly. Maybe it's the facilitation of his father's, uh, political power to the Chinese or to. Barisma in or to Ukrainian companies that have to do with Biolabs, allegedly . I'm sure there's a few things that we could point to that Hunter Biden could be arrested for. Maybe it's the crack pipe in his mouth,  like if there was a picture of Donald Trump with a crack pipe in his mouth, sucking on Stormy Daniel's toes. That would be something that everybody could rally around him being arrested for, but there's not. But you know who there is a picture of that  is Hunter Biden and nobody's going to arrest him.  There's, there's far better reasons. Maybe we should go after George Bush for, you know, getting us involved in a 20 year war over false pretenses,  may, maybe there's something there,  maybe there's something for him making billions and trillions of dollars for the military industrial complex,  maybe there's something around the Clintons,  maybe that, we'll, we'll get to in a minute. Maybe there's, I don't know, maybe go after Sam Hunt for, for.  doing demo. Seances during the Oscars or, or wearing clothes that make him look like a tightly wrapped skirt steak? I don't know. May, maybe there's some other people that we should talk about here that should be arrested Not, uh, not Donald Trump. And his payment. Oh, did I mention that this was all six years ago,  this wasn't even a recent hush money scandal. Right. This was, this was almost more than half of a decade ago that this happened. . Right. Speaking of George Bush, I saw this on Reddit a little bit ago, but like speaking of George Bush, where did all the terrorists go? Right. Has anybody else noticed that since the onset, like after the pandemic and everything and the US has withdrawal from Afghanistan, terrorists worldwide have just hit the snooze button on going after the, the, the, the west , they're just, they're just off sleep and in some cave somewhere. Right. That they just didn't realize the pandemic's over and are still quarantining. Right. It's it, they took a gap. From, from their terrorist activities,  for, for 20 years, terrorism topped the charts as the, the main conversation in every mainstream media, every mainstream media platform from Fox News, cnn, anywhere that you would look,  they were talking about the Taliban, they were talking about Al-Qaeda. Where, where'd they go?  Where are they? Where, where, where are they? What, what's going on there? Like, just. , well ex, you know, except for those pesky little January 6th terrorists who only, who only happened to show their faces just in time for the government's political narratives. Right. Just in time for, uh, a o c to hide under a desk and take a selfie video.  Yeah. The only terrorists we've seen in the wild just so happened to be wearing American flags,  on, on their shirt, or hanging from their trucks. . Right. Quite convenient. Right. And, and, and this is another thing that I saw this Reddit thread allude to is the fact that you would think during lockdowns terrorism would've been at its worst,  there was already a massive amount of public fear,  there was already so much fear in the public psyche, right. Were were terrorists more scared of covid than they were of the United States military?  No Taliban, no Al-Qaeda,  they, they swapped their, you know, tightly laced combat boots out for some Crocs, and they're just playing  Call of Duty all day instead of, you know, crashing planes into large buildings, allegedly uh, right. Seems pretty weird,  there's, there's still no more terrorists attacks going.  anyways,  even North Korea seems to have like calmed down a little bit. Although I guess I saw something the other day that there was like 800,000 soldiers who happened to volunteer for North Korea and they were calling on the United States like being ready for some type of war with the us. Nothing to see there,  at least nothing that the mainstream media wants you to talk about cuz I only saw it on real News. No bull. Um, if you don't, haven't heard me talk about them in a while, real news, no bullshit or real news, no bs uh, or online. Uh, that's their handle on like social media or real news. Not bs.com is their website. Their, their social media is a little bit better than their website. Their website I, I paid for, but I don't feel like I get much out of it. Um, but great way for, you know, actual individual journalism along with Atlas News is another good one anyway. Right. Like ever since Trump, there's been no terrorism whatsoever,  no. Nobody's, you know, popping their head up. There's no, there's no new like, leader that we're allegedly going after,  um, I don't think Trump completely wiped out Al-Qaeda,  we basically just handed them the keys along with 80 billion worth of military equipment, and, you know, now we're just not hearing from them after massive deals for cobalt mining. in Afghanistan with China nonetheless.  Mm. Kind of weird. I don't know what to think of that, but I did find it interesting. Right. Another thing that I find interesting that we no longer see in the news, like speaking of lost narratives, Trump has sex with some random porn star allegedly, and now there's no more aliens,  it's magical how all the U f O conversations.  gone. ,  there's nothing to be talked about in the news right now about, uh, uh, aliens, UFOs, spacecraft. Uh, you know, there, there's no conversations being had right now. Like all of a sudden the aliens went away just in time for Donald Trump to be indicted for, you know, paying off a porn star six years ago. Kind of bizarre,  isn't it strange how the world of politics and media. Absolutely blindside us with information just to, just to hype us up,  it's like this, this one month news cycle,  one minute we're all on the edge of our seats waiting for the next congressional hearing on UFOs, and all of a sudden Trump pays off a porn star and all of our interests and, and aliens just takes a backseat.  That's, that's an interesting concept to me is like how often. Like how, like how do we break that? How do we break the, the, the attention on the news cycle? Because if it's not aliens and literal motherships, like there was articles about a mothership releasing drones from space into our solar system.  You want to talk about priming,  if that's not actually happening, what are they priming us for? Cuz that's even far more concerning. But the fact that all of that news coverage, all of that news media like I did, you walk into work after fricking M S N BC comes out and says there's a mothership releasing drones into our world, And there. Nobody talking about it,  steve's still being an asshole in sales,  uh, Monica is still, you know, not, not getting you over the email when she should be like, George is still dropping the ball in hr, um, recruiting new people for your department. Like nobody's talking about alien motherships. What, what is it? What would it take for us to have a long standing attention on. Well, apparently it takes Donald Trump paying off a porn star.  like that has gone far more into the human psyche for a longer period of time than alien motherships. Right. I I, I don't even know where to take that. It's, it's just so bizarre to me, right. How, how much programming is involved, right. Like you would think. Alien Motherships being released, you know, releasing drones into our atmosphere. And, and the, the, um, the collective unconscious would be on that, like Hunter Biden on the floor looking for a piece of Dr. Crack,  like  just sifting through the carpet, looking for crack. But no. Instead we're focusing on Trump's financial movements for a misdemeanor crime that he allegedly committed six years ago. It's all a little interesting to me right now on the backs of that. Now let's, let's actually talk about the Hunter Biden situation. Cause I think , I think there's some few things that you missed there. Like if you haven't dove deep into the Hunter Biden laptop, I did two full episodes on it. Two full deep dives into the conversations months and months and months ago now.  You wanna talk about who should actually be being arrested,  you want, you wanna. Who's on the right side of, of, of history? Look at who, the judicial system, who, who the mainstream media has been weaponized against.  It's Trump, it's it's Covid. It's Ivermectin, it's Joe Rogan. It's, it's the conspiracy theorists. It's Robert Malone.  You want to, you want to know who the people are, who are telling the truth. Look to who the government is trying. Actively silence. Look to who Snoop's next article was written about. Right. I've, I've been using probably too many good news sources recently, like Real News, no bullshit, like Atlas News, like some of these independent journalists like Matt Taibbi. I should probably just start going to Snoops with all of the conspiracy theories that have been proven to be true lately for my facts.  Just, just assume everything on Snopes is. And that's where the best news stories are. Um, it seems like a better way of going about it, but if you actually go back to the Hunter Biden laptop, one of the most interesting cases that is not very much talked about, I gu I guess there's been some more recent con like pictures that came out showing potentially Lady Gaga. Like smoking next to Hunter Biden. Like I, I saw a meme about Hunter Biden with, it was like Hunter Biden about to have sex and it was him with like some military hat on with like 25 GoPros  around his head. Uh, it seems like literally everybody that that man has ever had sex with, he felt the need to take a picture of um, one of them potentially being Lady Gaga allegedly. Cuz there was a very, very, very. Uh, similar looking woman in the picture with him with almost identical hair, nose, facial structure that he was standing next to, um, taking a, a selfie with. But another interesting one is, uh, what is her name? Gosh, Obama's daughter. Right. What is Obama's daughter's name? It's like millennia or it's not millennia. That sounds like a, what is her name? Let's see if we can find it here. Yeah. Not Natasha Malia. That's what it was. That was pretty close,  malia Trump. Trump, Malia Obama . There was pictures when she was underage during the time where apparently Malia Obama was in a picture naked, allegedly with Hunter Biden, where she actually like had a debit or a credit card that somebody linked back to her because you could see a portion of her name on it with cocaine on. There's so much in that laptop and, and nothing's happened with that. That's why it's just so crazy to me that Trump is even being talked about.  There's so many things that our judicial system, there's so many people that they should be going after, maybe, I don't know, maybe the woman who just left office, the speaker of the house. Uh, maybe you should be going after her for the 50 billion or whatever that Pelosi made from actively day trading. The very things that she was currently working on, writing legislation surrounding, you know, or her husband. Now there is one thing that I found, you know, another thing that came up, which was that there was additional footage about, uh, Pelosi's husband and the hammer situation and stuff. And it doesn't exactly appear as it initially came off when the story came out where it was like potentially his male lover, but I don't know, maybe it was  who, who knows. Maybe I'll check Snopes to see if, if, uh, they have anything to say about that. All right. But as I said at the beginning of this, there's two ways to think about body counts. The first. Is Trump's body count in the sheets. The second way,  is actual body bags. And when we're talking about pot, uh, potential body counts for presidents. There's really one name that sticks out and it's the Clintons. So we will jump into that in just a moment. But first, go ahead and hit that subscribe button. Leave a five star review, uh, write something in there. Nice. That always helps out the podcast. It helps us get up in the rankings. And again, head over to Austin Adams dot.com. It's the free podcast companion along with some articles that we write up on a weekly basis. And by we, I mean, and me when I have time. It would mean the world, all  you'll feel good about yourself. There's not too many things that you can do to get some good karma in this world. That is easy and passive, but you have an app up on your phone right now. And you are listening to this app, and one out of six of you, at least one out of seven of you that is listening to this right now, one outta 10, have not left a review, have not hit that five star button,  and it would help tremendously. If you are still listening to this podcast, I know you know how easy it is to leave a five star review. So go ahead and click that button and then next time, next episode, when we're talking about these things, the craziness that is going on in this world, You'll know, you'll have that fuzzy feeling in your stomach. So I will raise this founder's dirty bastard, uh, scotch Ale to you as you leave a five star review. And I'll even give you 10 seconds to do it. 10 seconds. And I will drink during that time and then I'll toast you and then I'll take another sip. Here we go. Hear that. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. Now let's move on. Speaking of presidential body counts, why is there not an indictment about the former Clinton Aid who literally shot himself in the chest and then hung himself 30 miles from his house and the shotgun just so happened to be 30 feet from his body after he did so? Right. If anybody's going to be Indic. Right. Speaking of presidential body counts, if anybody's gonna be indicted, it should probably be the people who have the same last name and have, I don't know. 53 people around them who have in some way, shape, or form been connected to them that have unlived themselves, So for years, the Clinton family has been surrounded by a seemingly endless string of mysterious deaths,  many of the deceased had ties to the Clintons and even some possessed potential damaging information. This says the coincidences are too numerous to ignore, and the intrigue only intensifies. Examine each case. I'm gonna go on to list an astonishing list. Over 50 people here who have been tied to the Clintons that have unlived themselves or been directly killed, that have been tied back to them in some way, shape, or form. But at first, Let's go ahead and pull up this, this audio here. There's a couple clips of some people that you might appreciate, uh, talking about the Clinton body count as we preempt this wonderful, beautiful list here together. All right, so the first one let's listen to is going to be from the two Bears one, uh, cave Podcast, , which is Tom Segura. Um, talking about this, which I find to be pretty funny. . All right. And here we go. Are insane. Yeah. That you just get so like everybody's just like you want in on this? Yeah. Also, would you like to give a speech? Yeah. It's 500 grand. Yeah.  for you to talk about what, what it was like to be president? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. When I was president it was pretty wild. Yeah. Like it's fucking, that's, you get 500 grand for that shit. Big time. They do a series, write a book.  15 million advance, and they're not giving you that money to curry favor. They're doing it cuz they really wanna hear what you have to say. Yeah. They wanna hear what Hillary Hill, you know, we gotta regulate Wall Street. And then you look at her tour schedule, she's like, bear Stearns, JP Morgan , you're going. That's weird. Yeah, no, that's a fun one, by the way, when you talk about conspiracy theories. Yeah. The most fun. , I think is the Clinton family stuff. Like, and, and it's fun because there's a lot of, there are, it's like, uh, six degrees of separation, but six degrees of death with death. Clinton. Yeah. So many people that are like associated former employees, colleagues, they're like dead, dead, dead. Yeah. then, uh, what is it, Clinton Road, Epstein's playing like, I don't know, half a dozen times or more. He, I think he was the pilot of it at one point. Yeah, , I think he was driving it. He was always on that thing. He was fucking on that thing, dude. And they're like, ask him about ep. Yeah. I mean he was like a gold fire. We're talking about money . Yeah, that's it. He was like a gold medallion, like frequent flyer, frequent fly a lot of miles on that plane. What'd you do when you got to that island? Ah, we golfed the beach. It's a beach. Yeah. Golf. You've been to an island? Yeah. Great golf. Yeah, we golfed on that tiny little uh, uh, secret island. The amount of people that have died. That we're close to them. It is. It's like a have you look up Clinton body count. Yeah, it's a little weird. It is a little weird. It's a little weird. It is a fun one. I would get into . It's got his own Wikipedia , is it? Oh, it's a discredited conspiracy theory. Excuse. No, they pulled up Wikipedia and there is actually a Wikipedia page all around the Clinton body count that is the title of the Wikipedia. Clinton body count. There's so many, and then there's this creepy picture of both of them standing there with these murderous smiles on their face.  next to the words Clinton body count. Like imagine there's, there's no Trump body count. There's no bush body count, although there should be for that one. Um, I wonder how big that ticker would look like. Um, but there is a Clinton body count, Wikipedia page, and then entire page dedicated to it. Excuse me, please. Sorry. I forget. Alleged victims. There's. , former finance co-chairman, uh, Victor Razor. Mary Mohan White House intern. Didn't wanna suck it. Dead. , uh, Vince Foster, of course, it was a big one. Big one that would be a White House. Uh, council found dead in Fort Marcy Park in Virginia, outside Washington. Autopsy determined he was shot in the. His death was ruled as suicide by five official investigations where remains the subject of conspiracy theories. Um, for knowing too much about the Clintons. Seth Rich, everybody knows Seth Rich. Mm-hmm. , uh, unsolved Murder still. Jeffrey Epstein. Um, we talked about him. Christopher Sign wrote the news of a meeting. Oh man, this was, this was huge. And was, um, thought. Greatly sway the election. Oh yeah. In 16, this is when, uh, Clinton met with then Attorney General Loretta Lynch. Um, and it was like, it was, so it was like, uh, we're on the tarmac. Hey, why don't you like pull that plane back up for a second. . I want to have a quick chat. Yeah. Um, and sign was found dead in his Alabama home. His death. Anyways. It, it is so crazy. There's a literal dedicated Wikipedia page,  and, and how there's so many people that have talked about this. Now, Epstein's an interesting one,  and, and, and let me preface this all with this. These are all just conspiracy theories, folks. It's very, very possible that the Clintons have never done anything wrong at all. They're just very nice people with the best interest of our, you know, nation at hand. And just everybody has these silly little thoughts about them. Like, I don't know, you killed a bunch of people. It's very, very, very real. I don't think the Clintons killed. I'm winking. I don't think that at all. Right. Um, so, you know, I like my life. I, I, I don't want to be found somewhere with a, a, you know, a, a beautifully written note in a field somewhere that is cursive. That, that looks nothing like mine stating how I am done with this world. So, you know, this is all conspiracy theories. This is all thought experiments folks. We're just messing around . Uh, so let's, let's move on here. But Epstein's an interesting one,  the reason that people think Epstein now, now again, in this fun little world of conspiracies, I don't think Hillary Clinton is walking around with a knife in, in a, a. Six shooter in her pocket in a, a cowboy hat with a mustache killing all these people. I, I don't think that, I think they're probably. Allegedly hiring very, very high cost mercenaries that all of these people in these very elite societies have some sort of access to. You know, and, and this is something that you'll see next in the clip of, of Duncan Trussel and Joe Rogan talking about this. And by the way, Duncan Tru Duncan Trussel, of everybody that I listened to, even, even more than Joe Rogan even. He's top three for me,  it's like Lex Friedman, um, Duncan Trestle. Those would be my top two,  um, and I can throw some other people in there. Russell Branch or Rogan, like there's some, some, some great people out there that are Andrew Huberman that are doing great. Um, great work in the podcast, uh, scheme. But Duncan Trussell's conversations with Joe Rogan. If you do nothing else with podcasts besides listen to my entire library, , which I hope you do. Go listen to every Joe Rogan Duncan Trestle podcast, and then come back here and thank me. Uh, it's, it's just incredible, incredible conversations. He's such an interesting dude, and we'll listen to them, uh, here in just a moment. But, um, back to the conversation at hand, I don't think it's Hillary Clinton with a mustache and a cowboy hat and the six shooter and a knife walking around killing all these people. They're very, very highly paid Merc.  all around the world. This is a real thing,  uh, the cia, red Squad, the, the, um, right. All there's, there's all of these different, uh, teams that are go from being high, high up at the tip of the spear special missions units in, in the military, um, in, in whatever country that they're serving to going and making. And, and maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like it's a probably a pretty strong possibility that if you are in one of those extremely, extremely high positions, there's some real money to be made If you can get in and get outta somewhere and do a, a dirty deed done dirt cheap to quote ac d c ,  um, there's probably some money to be made and if there was money to be, Right. The book deals that they're talking about, the 14 million advances, even if just, you know, 250,000 goes to, uh, eliminating some random woman who a accuses your husband of grabbing her ass during a, a campaign that you don't need that negativity on, eh, quarter mill doesn't seem too bad. That's like. A fifth of a, a speech at JP Morgan Chase for the Clintons . So let's, let's listen to this next clip. This is Duncan Trestle and Joe Rogan talking about the Clinton body count. Now to preface this, they are sitting here in the  revolutionary wartime wigs, uh, big white wigs with, uh, big coats. Um, it's, it's a site to be seen, but, um, this is, uh, Let's see if it even tells us which episode. Um, no, but here we go. It's, it's, it's good stuff. How many guys that have been killed or died rather, I should say, by suicide, accidental suicide through, uh, auto erotic asphyxiation when they have like a vibrator up their ass and they're wearing a fucking wetsuit. Yeah, and they're, they're hanging. How many of those guys were just. I What percentage? A lot. Half. How many of them work for the fucking Clinton's? There's your answer. Oh man. Did that Clinton, the last that, that's who? The last guy. Wow. Like they're not even trying. To make it secret , and we're gonna, we're gonna get to this one a, a bit too, but they talk about it in this, so it's, it's crazy. The most recent one that is like the most obvious Clinton, uh, with the mustache and, and a six shooter and the cowboy hat situation is, is, is this one that they're about to talk about. It's, it's so crazy that this is like, and Trump's getting indicted for moving money in the wrong place with a misdemeanor and it's this huge orde. That's, it's so crazy. It's like you saying there's a Clinton body count makes you a conspiracy theorist. Yeah. Like there's how many, but like I, you know, it's just a lot of coincidences dunking. You're not supposed to know that many people who've committed suicide. Like, you know what I mean? Like if I knew. 30. Like if 30 people that used to work for me had committed suicide and I didn't have something to do with it, like I would start going crazy , I would shut down my business. Yeah. I'd be like, you know, I don't know if it's me or it's something about me, but everyone who works for me, lots of people that work for me, they kill themselves. So I'm not doing it anymore. I'm gonna like get a little apartment. You know, just like, just ride out the rest of my life. I'm gonna get a cabin and start writing books, write books, whatever. Just know, I don't want, I don't want any more people to die. But yeah, that body count thing is really like, what's the number? What I, I don't know. I think it's, what's it up to, Jamie? Supposedly 39. 39, I think 39 people that you, that you've worked with. Died like in the gym, they have these accidents. It's like, imagine you have Putin's body count. It's only like 20. Like it's way higher. Yeah. If, uh, what is this? That's the guy. So Mark Middleton dead at 59. Clinton special advisor who let Epstein into the White House seven times dies. Um, this is a sun report, just so, oh, the sun. Of course. I'm reading how it's clarity. So scroll up a little bit. What's the, . It's like, uh, you know, a lot of celebrity news and a lot of salacious news,  yeah. It's like, it's a little bit fun. It's like a fun newspaper. So sad, sad, fun stories that doesn't, wait, what are they saying? Just so that we, it doesn't show the weird parts about it. Just find the one where it shows it. Yeah. Find the, there's an article about his suicide. He, uh, hung himself with an extension cord and shot himself in the chest and shot simultaneous. Yeah, like Yo , I mean, this one is family, uh, of Bill Clinton advisor who admitted Jeffrey Epstein into White House seven times, has blocked release of files detailing the death scene after he was found hanging from a tree with a shotgun blast at a ranch 30 miles from his home. Kids, kids monsters are. Okay. Here's the problem with conspiracy theories. There's so many people that are willing to jump on so many of 'em. Yeah. So many dumb ones. Yeah. That it muddies the water and it makes the, the word a pejorative. Oh, you're a conspiracy theorist. Yeah. It's like you don't think that some people occasionally conspire Like, are we in denial? Yeah. Of one of the. Basic aspects of greedy people. Sure. To conspire people with power that control. No, they stopped giant swaths of the globe. They don't do anymore. They stopped a long time ago. They used to. A long time ago. That was a long time ago. Wealthy people, you know, Royal Quartz, royalty kings or whatever. Yeah. It was intrigue and they would poison people and kill them, but they stopped because wealthy people, you know, they've learned how to be. Kinder and Nice. And the pharmaceutical company said they're sorry and they paid the money. Yeah. Everything's fine now. No, it changed. The world changed. It used to be like that. Yeah. The world's beautiful now It's perfect. It's fine. No one would ever do that. No one's resort to that kind of murdering thing, like Yeah, nobody would. I mean, the, our armies do it, but aside from our armies, no. People who are in charge of the armies would do it when they're off work. . When they're off work. So let's, let's explore some of the lists here. So, so there's, there's a, the attack happened here early Sunday morning, 27 year old. Here's Seth Rich. Here's, here's, uh, one of the most, um, consistently talked about one. So let's, let's let this play for a minute, cuz it just comes right up after that one and we'll see if anything comes out of it. Seth Rich is one of the most famous cases about the Epsteins or about the Epstein, about the Clintons. Seth Rich seen here in his LinkedIn profile. Picture murdered as he walked in a neighborhood. He called home. Seth Rich was shot twice in the back in what police said. Looked like a botched robbery. He was taken to hospital, but died two hours later, just one of 139 murders in the DC area. Last. Still, the death of somebody linked to Hillary Clinton's campaign was enough to set the internet, a light with theories about what might have really happened. In August, WikiLeaks offered a $20,000 reward. And then on Dutch television, WikiLeaks found in Julian Assange suggested that Rich was his source for the Democrats emails. I'm suggesting that our sources, uh, take risks and they are, they become concern. Uh, to see things occurring, uh, like that. But was he one of your sources then? I mean, we don't comment on who our sources are, but why make the suggestion about a young guy being shot in the streets of Washington? Because, uh, we have to understand, uh, how high the states are, uh, in the United States whoa. I didn't know that the WikiLeaks leaker of the DNC emails with Hillary Clinton's emails was Seth Rich. I, I hadn't gotten that far in this reading yet. . Whoa, that's crazy. And that was Julian Assange, the man himself commenting in that video, talking about it. Um,  and you think he randomly got shot in the street. No way.  As, as Joe Rogan put it, you'll think people sometimes conspire , like you think that's a coincidence. Absolutely. No way.  They, he leaks the Hillary Clinton emails and all of a sudden he gets shot in the back twice in New York for, no, in a, in a robbery, you shoot somebody in a back, in a robbery. So let's go through some of this list here. Here's an astonishing list of individuals connected to the Clintons who met untimely ends, to say the least. All right, we'll go through some of these. I don't know if we'll go through all of them, but obviously that's a pretty damn good intro into it. Let's talk about Epstein Seth Rich,  those are some pretty serious names tied to the Clintons, but let's go on,  james McDougal was a key witness in Ken Starr's investigation. In Clinton's conviction or convicted whitewater partner found dead in solitary confine confinement from an apparent heart attack. Mary Mahoney former White House intern, planning to expose her story of sexual harassment was murdered in a Georgetown Starbucks. Vince Foster, former White House counselor in Hillary Clinton's colleague at Rose Law Firm ruled a suicide by gunshot wound to the head. Ron Brown, secretary of Commerce, former D N c Chairman and potential whistleblower died in a plane crash with his suspicious gunshot like hole in his skull. Hmm. Now I will, That is very hard to find. You know, like they said about the sun, it's a, like this list didn't come from Fox News, if that's your source of correct information. So take some of this with a grain of salt, but the fact that you can probably reverse engineer almost any one of these names and find the correlation and then find that they're dead in a very similar fashion than what they're talking about here. It says Victor Riser in Montgomery Riser. Major Clinton fundraisers killed in a private praying cla praying plane crash. Paul Toley, democratic National Committee political director in Clinton, confidant, found dead in Little Rock Hotel room. Ed Willy Clinton fundraiser found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in the woods of Virginia, ruled a suicide, died the same day as his wife claimed. Bill Clinton groped. Jerry Parks head of Clinton's goober Notator security team gunned down in his car. His son Claim Parks was building a dossier on Clinton. James Bunch found dead from a gunshot suicide. Reportedly had a black book containing names of influential people visiting prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas. James Wilson tied to a whistle or, uh, tied to whitewater, found dead in May, 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide. I said whistleblower, probably because of Julian Assange at this point. Um, Kathy Ferguson, ex-wife of Arkansas, trooper Danny Ferguson was found dead in May, 1994 in her living room with a gunshot to her head. it was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases as if she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton In the Paula Jones lawsuit, Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones. That is 11 of them. We can keep going. Bill Shelton or uh, Arkansas State Trooper Gunshot wound ruled a suicide critical of the suicide ruling of his fiance who was found dead in. Gandy Baugh. Attorney for Clinton's friend died of jumping out of a window in 1994. His client was a convicted drug distributor, Florence Martin, accountant and subcontractor for the cia. Uh, Suzanne Coleman reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was an Arkansas attorney, uh, died of a gunshot wound to the back of her head pregnant at the time of her death. Paula gr. Clinton's speech interpreter for the death from 1978 until her death December, 1992. She died in one car crash. Eh, that might be bullshit,  people die of car crashes. Danny Castro in investigative reporter investigating Mina Airport and Arkansas Development Finance Authority slit his wrists apparently in the middle of his investigation into Clinton's, Paula Wichner, John Walker. Barbara Weiss says that, uh, commerce Department staffer worked closely with Ron Ba Brown and John Hong cause of death unknown. Charles Messer goes on and on and on. Dr. Stanley heard right, how many people had to die , how many people died around them before you start to ask questions,  like I, I. I don't know that many people that have died. Like there's a, a small handful of people that I've ever run into, let alone people who have shot themselves. And maybe it's like sixth degree of SEP separation,  but like, these aren't six degrees, this is like first, second degree,  um, Kevin Ives and Don Henry, known as the Boys on the track case reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mena Arkansas's airport drug operation. The controversial case. The initial report of death said due to falling asleep on railroad tracks. Later reports claim the two boys had been slain before being placed on the tracks. Many linked the case, uh, linked to the case died before their testimony could come before a.  Yeah. Get the point. And this even going all the way up to Hillary's 2016 presidential run, um, world renowned space economist Molly McCauley, brutally murdered in Baltimore as she, uh, had testified before Congress many times. She was vice president at Resource for the Future, and in the junk professor at John Hopkins University, she was stabbed to death while walking her dogs in Baltimore Park. Her name is on this list because of her ties in Washington as well as her death just days before the murder of Seth. Hmm, interesting. And then we get to Seth Rich,  if, if none of these other ones even matter,  like let's talk about the, I dunno, eight or nine bodyguards that were in there, , if none of those matter. You want to talk about Seth Rich? That is one of the craziest ones,  and, and this, this article that I found to even talks about it being a possible connection. Julia Assange just. Told us everything. But the fact that sh, he was the one that gave them that information, right, gave them access to all of the emails. Crazy. And then it goes on to talk about John Ash, Victor Thorns, John Lucas, and the list goes on,  so, so many people from whistleblowers to bodyguards. These deaths have, have, should at least raise some eyebrows. If you have 52 people around you that are in some way or shape or form associated with you, or were coming after you in some legal manner and they just so happen to die. And that's somehow always related to potentially suicides, gunshot wounds. Right. There's a fair amount of plane crashes. Right. And then Mark Middleton,  the one that Joe Rogan and Duncan Trust were talking about. But as the body count climbs the likelihood of this, like the think of the likelihood, how, how many people do you know that have died? Now think of how many people you know that have died tragically. Now think of how many people you know that have died tragically, were coming after you legally and also so happened to commit suicide. Like the, the, the, the, the statistics aren't in their favor, . So as we talk about this, Donald Trump is being Indic. For moving money to pay off an NDA from a. Home equity line, that's what we're talking about here.  for his body count with a porn star next to the 52 names that I just listed that have to do with the Clintons, and I'm sorry if I bored you with some of those names, but it's just pretty wild when you go through some of 'em. And again, I'm not claiming some of those or all of them, or even one of them has to do with the Clinton's in in Hillary with a mustache and a cowboy hat and a six shooter going off and killing all these people. But I am saying it's pretty damn weird. Maybe. Maybe the Manhattan District Attorney should be looking at that instead of Trump's payments to Stormy Daniels from a pote, a possible home equity line , like he mismarked his, his tax return. Right. Maybe just, maybe that's, that's something that should be considered, but I thought that was a fun way of going about this conversation. Right. The body. Compared to the body count, right, Trump's one body count was Stormy Daniels sexually compared to the 52 body counts of the Clinton's, uh, murdery sprees allegedly. Is, uh, an interesting comparison to say the least. So on that note, thank you so much for listening today. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I truly do. I, I love doing this. I, it amazes me every day, um, that we have such an awesome community. Uh, follow me on Instagram, the Adams Archive, uh, truth, social, the Adams Archive. Everywhere you get your podcast, we have a YouTube channel,  youTube. You can watch the video every single week. I post the video the very next day after the podcast, it gets released and you can actually watch the video. You can watch the videos that we're watching alongside of me, um, at the YouTube channel. Okay? Um, it's just the Adams archive search that you'll find me. See my, my face, um, and we'll go from there, but, all right. Thank you guys so much. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful week, and I love you. I'll talk to you soon. Bye.

For all of our OG listeners, this one's for you! Brooke and Katie begin our second deep dive series by throwing it back to the man we credit for planting the seed of our friendship - fallen from grace Disney YouTuber, Michael Kay! (Now known as JourneyTogether) We met Michael as a beloved self-proclaimed “Disney enthusiast” who charmed the pants off of midwestern cougars with his incredible knack for skin-tight Incredibles cosplay and enthusiasm for bison burgers. In the years since, he has found himself embroiled in accusations of grifting, deception, and Blue Life boot-licking. In this introductory episode we detail the origins of his channel as a bright eyed and bushy chested - I mean - bushy TAILED young man, reflect on our first impressions of Michael as true fans of his, and give a rundown of the motley crew that is his immediate family. We also read imagine POVs we used to write (as a JOKE), recite memorable quotes, and list our favorite vlogs on his channel. For our NTBABBs we discuss Ash Wednesday and Ariana DeBose not capitalizing off of her cringe awards show performance like she should have.*THE CONTENT OF THIS SERIES IS ALLEGED AND FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.*

Hurricane Nicole devastated parts of Florida's coastline, but it also churned up the sea and spit out long-lost treasure. While the wind was still whipping our state, Jonah Martinez and his daughter, Kaylee Martinez, set their sights on the sand. “When the cold fronts or the hurricanes come up, we usually get an opportunity to go out there and look for stuff that has been lost. Mother Nature does a job and erodes the sand away and if you are in the right place at the right time, you never know what you are going to find,” Jonah Martinez said. The pair said they found a lot of junk, but they also uncovered gold coins. Florida's Fourth Estate host Ginger Gadsden asked them if they “found a sweet spot, and where is it?” But co-host Matt Austin chimed in before they could dish out the details, saying, “I'm not going to let you answer that.” “Through the 30 years of doing this, I have found many sweet spots and I can tell you that when I find them, they are sweet and when I leave them there is not much for anyone else to find,” Jonah Martinez said. But he added you can look around online to find information on how to succeed at finding treasures along the coast like he has. “Little by little, Kaylee's got involved with this and it's kind of something now that we are doing and she's just having fun with it too,” he added. And she's not just having fun; her Dad said she also uncovered several coins. “It was a totally new feeling, just holding this piece of treasure and this piece of history that hasn't been held in 300 years,” she said. “It's just mind-boggling.” Her dad said it's an incredible find, especially considering how often he goes out to search for treasure and comes up empty-handed. “The chances that you actually do are very, very slim, so you gotta have that “no-finds” or the “treas-aren'ts” before you have the “treas-are,” Jonah Martinez said. It was a pun that left his daughter with her hand palmed to her face. Along the way, Jonah Martinez said he has also found “wedding rings, GoPros, sunglasses, cellphones, hand grenades, bullets... World War II stuff” and more. But his best find was back in 2015 when he said he uncovered about $6.5 million worth of gold coins. Marcel The Shell With Shoes On began in 2010 as a series of stop-motion shorts written and directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp and actor Jenny Slate, who also does the voice of Marcel. It's a “documentary” about Marcel, who's a hermit crab shell with one googly eye and doll shoes. What makes both the shorts and the film so charming is hearing Marcel's funny, optimistic witticisms and seeing how he uses real full-sized human objects in his miniature life, such as a piece of lint on a thread as a pet, using a spoon to catapult onto shelves, and putting honey on his shoes to walk up a wall. For the full length film, Fleischer-Camp, Slate and screenwriter Nick Paley expanded the story to include Marcel's grandmother Connie. The two live in the house alone, but they used to be part of a whole shell community. With the help of Dean, Marcel's documentarian, Marcel goes on a quest to find the rest of his family and friends. As a live-action and stop-motion movie, Marcel The Shell was extremely complicated to shoot. DP Bianca Cline, who has a documentary background, shot the principal photography on location so that cinematographer Eric Adkins, an experienced stop-motion DP, could use her footage as background plates for the stop-motion. Then, all of the stop-motion portions and live action portions were composited together into a seamless film. Eric was on set and took extensive notes, photos and measurements during the live action portion, since creating realistic, fool-the-eye stop-motion is extremely technical. All of Bianca's documentary footage was edited and animatics created before Eric's job as the stop-motion DP began, with puppeteers using interchangeable shell models of Marcel and Connie. Bianca tried to approach the film as if Marcel was a real living character. Once she began shooting, the voices and music were already fully recorded and finished along with extensive storyboards, so it helped to have a clear blueprint. She could find the best locations within the house and use naturalistic lighting for each scene. An important part of the story is to emphasize that Marcel is very small in a big world. Bianca wanted him to always be placed next to things that made him look small, and she often used one of the Marcel models as a reference. The team took care to make everything look effortless, as if they just showed up with a camera. As with a real documentary, Bianca wanted it to seem slightly imperfect with handheld movement and a little bit of jolting motion once in awhile. They were constantly brainstorming and problem solving together with the production designer, VFX supervisor and animation director on set. For Eric, the most complex scenes to replicate in stop-motion were the driving portions, shot with GoPros mounted inside the car, as Marcel gets driven around looking for his family. All the lighting in stop motion is strictly controlled on a set, so using flickering and moving light in scenes is rare. But complex problems just inspire Eric to find more creative solutions, and he enjoyed the challenge of making sure that the stop-motion shadows matched the movements of the real car.
