Hello, Kaiju Lovers! In our second Patreon pick of season 4, Nate is joined by Drew Dodgen of The Cel Cast (his co-host, Jacob, was too busy planning a wedding to come) to discuss kaiju in Star Wars! Specifically, the Zillo Beast, who appeared in two episodes of The Clone Wars  and three episodes (sorta) of its spin-off, The Bad Batch. This was an episode that grew since it was requested, going from two episodes of TV to five. Nate and Drew unpack all the kaiju tropes and homages throughout the “Zillo Beast Saga,” and Drew gives us a crash course in the history of Star Wars in animation. Meanwhile, MIFV's intrepid producer, Jimmy From NASA, pops a few veins with all the prequel talk. Jimmy's Notes on this episode COMING SOON on the MIFV website! Check out Nathan's spinoff podcasts, The Henshin Men, The Power Trip, and Henshin Power V3. We'd like to give a shout-out to our MIFV MAX patrons Danny DiManna (author/creator of the Godzilla Novelization Project); Damon Noyes, The Cel Cast, TofuFury, Eric Anderson of Nerd Chapel, Ted Williams, Wynja the Ninja, Christopher Riner, The Indiscrite One, Eli Harris, Jake Hambrick, Matt Walsh (but not that Matt Walsh), Jonathan Courtright, Leon Campbell, and Michael Watson! Flashback Episode of The Father Time Podcast with Jamie Kaler,Today's episode is for my nerd/parent listeners. Matthew Sendeich, along with his partner Seth Green, are the Emmy winning co-creators behind the wildly popular cult classic TV show, Robot Chicken. Since then, they've gone on to create Stoopid Buddy Studios and are making some of the best animated shows out there. Super Mansion, Buddy Thunderstruck, Titan Maximum and all the Robot Chicken: Star Wars shows are just a taste of what their studio is creating. Matt is a true example of do what you love and create the job you want. He was a real comic book nerd who was at the forefront of the "comic book generation". He started with a high school internship at Marvel, long before Marvel ruled the world of movies. And now his company is one of the big innovators in the world of comic based television. He has a hilariously dark sense of humor which is even more wonderful when it's combined with being a parent. Enjoy and please forgive us when we tell the story of the guy who masturbated with a belt sander and stapled his scrotum shut. You can catch The Parent's Lounge live every Tuesday night at 10pm EST/7pm PST at:https://www.facebook.com/theparentslounge#theparentslounge #matthewsenreich #robotchicken #Titanmaximum #parentingpodcast #jamiekaler #jasongowin #katemulligan #comedians #parentingadvice #funnyparents #hilarious #cohosts #starwars #buddythunderstruck #sethgreen #stoopidbuddystudios #standupcomedy #marvel Jamie Kaler's Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/jamiekaler/Jason Gowin's Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/jasongowin/Kate Mulligan's Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/katestmomever/The Parent's Lounge TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@theparentsloungeshow

Season 2- Episode 20- Star Wars: Robot Chicken, Family Guy and How It Should Have Ended  Hello Everyone, hope you have had a good week. We also hope you are keeping safe in this time of craziness with the virus that is going on. We hope our little podcast can help brighten your day and time with social distancing. Like always we have always enjoyed making these episodes. This episode is smaller which is great. We discussed three different things we talked about Robot Chicken, Family Guy and How It Should Have Ended Star Wars. We talked mostly about Robot Chicken Star Wars and how we liked it more than Family Guy. We talked a lot about the first scene of Robot Chicken where Darth Vader had to call Emperor Palpatine and explain how the first Death Star got blown up.  We talked about the differences of Family Guy, which took Episodes 4-6 and refashioned them with their characters, Robot Chicken really took a look at all them and reimagine some of the scenario's in the movies. After we talk about these two Jake brings up How it Should Have Ended which is a  Youtube channel and we all agreed you all should subscribe to that channel.  We are so grateful for your support and help. We hope you enjoy this podcast and it helps you enjoy your social distancing. We are on most all podcasting formats and we are on Youtube. Thank you so much.
