In this episode, we discuss the topic of prayer and the Lord's Prayer specifically. The Lord's Prayer is a beautiful, subversive passage of words given to the church by Jesus. It forms our imaginations and—given time—transforms us. Dan explains how what you pray shapes what you believe, which in turn shapes how you live. Warning:  YouTube, Big Pharma, and Deep State media entities have banned this presentation  and the documentary.   Mr. Griffin marshals the evidence that cancer is a deficiency disease - like scurvy or pellagra - aggravated by the lack of an essential food compound in our modern diet. That substance is vitamin B17. In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile. This story is not approved by orthodox medicine. The FDA, the AMA, and The American Cancer Society have labeled it fraud and quackery. Yet the evidence is clear that here, at last, is the final answer to the cancer riddle. Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics - and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment. This is the most complete and authoritative treatise available on this topic.

Esi explains her background growing up in a Black middle-class family in Los Angeles, how she came to her current work and offerings, and her four years of somatic experiencing school. During that program, Esi learned how to stay in her body as a Black woman with mostly white individuals, especially surrounding discussions of race and racism. Through the years, she learned the importance of non-shaming, curiosity, and having truthful conversations through difficult topics and uncomfortable experiences. She offers a nuanced perspective and radical medicine in a time when most are quick to cancel or dismiss. In 1954, the Comics Code Authority was formed to censor newsstand comic books by banning depictions of violence, negative portrayals of law enforcement and any mention of homosexuality. The ban created the flourishing world of so-called ‘underground comix,' which approached banned items as a checklist and inspired a generation of LGBTQ cartoonists to draw themselves and their community on the page. A new PBS documentary, “No Straight Lines,” maps the history of LGBTQ comics frame by frame, from Rupert Kinnard's “Brown Bomber,” to Alison Bechdel's “Dykes to Watch Out For,” to their influence on the next generation of queer comic artists today. Music is biggest business and at the same time a space for revolt against the status quo, the regulations and constraints of society. This edition of The Art of Assembly looks at the dissident side of music, how it can suggest alternative ways of living, create identities and foster feelings of belonging and support. Author Anne Hahn organized in punk concerts in the GDR, lost her study-permission and later was imprisoned: East German sub-cultures were one of the few ways to carve out a bit of freedom within the system. For visual artist Phil Collins, who grew up in the North of England in the '70s and '80s, clubbing has always been political. He organised a disco-dance marathon in Palestine, worked with fans of The Smiths across three continents, and recently released a benefit album of house music recorded with formerly incarcerated individuals. Linguist and author Reyhan Şahin aka Lady Bitch Ray – the most prominent and controversial female rapper in German language – lost her journalistic job fifteen years ago over lyrics that were considered as too sexually explicit. With her songs and writings, she fights against racism, sexism and discrimination – and has proved that hard rap and feminism may well go together.

Alternative. Moderne. Subversive. Her Name Was Miracle dit alors : «Osons vivre ! Férocement, libres et flamboyant.e.s ! #subjectivation». Beyond his incredible prolificness as a playwright and theater impresario, Kautzman hosts one of the top new podcasts not just in the dissident sphere, but on the entire internet: Art of Darkness. Here's the notes:Art of Darkness co-host Kevin KautzmanAn independent podcast that tells the life stories of great artists over the span of about three hours. Two hosts, Kautzman and Brad Kelly, who take turns episode by episode alternately telling the narrative and providing color commentary. It's been compared to Hardcore History, but I think it's much more like a based Last Podcast on the Left. Kautzman is also a creative writing MFA, playwright, web designer, and what I'd call a content maximalist—extremely prolific. Many websites, much content—I came across “Pickleball screenplay available on Amazon…” button on one of your sites which struck me as the perfect illustration of your one-man engine of ubiquitous content. * Why do gay men love musical theater so much?* UT MFA in creative writing and Michener Fellow. Yarvin uses the phrase cursus honorum to describe someone pedigreed with all the correct titles by the Cathedral. 1-10 how perfect is your cursus honorum?* The brokenness of establishment talent scouting: So many of the artists you cover were very odd people with very normal paths, at least insofar as becoming a great artist traditionally goes in the Western World. It's a sure sign of the times when any across-the-aisle friends that still exist out there in the wild tend to keep their friendship on the down low, in case they'd be accused of fraternizing with “the enemy.” From the halls of Congress to our hometown, this makes becoming or staying bipartisan friends an act of straight up rebellion against the toxic and divided culture we find ourselves in. We chat with one such pair of fantastically dissimilar friends, Dr. Jacob Hess (who has been an influential force for The Village Square) and Village Square Founder Liz Joyner. Jacob and Liz have been rebelling together for about a decade now, and they're not only convinced liberals and conservatives are better together but they are obstinately bound and determined to buck the stultifying groupthink and start a trend. Jacob is the co-author of “You're Not as Crazy as I thought (but you're still wrong).” Dr. Hess works at a tech company that makes apps to overcome pornography addiction, chemical dependency, and depression, and is Editor-in-Chief at Public Square Magazine and writes for the Deseret News on the peace-building beat. Funding for this program was provided through a grant from Florida Humanities with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

For most of us, we just have to learn to dance. Occasionally, that means stepping on each other's toes. The marriages that do this best, sacrificing and submitting, loving and respecting, they don't even know they're doing it. They aren't focused on the steps. They are focused on their partner. Your marriage is not about you and that is the best news in the world. Because the truly best things in life are not about us. They are about Jesus. The greatest story of all time. God as our husband. And even when we run from him, hide from him, hurt him, betray him…He never stops pursuing us. Sacrificing for us. Cherishing us. Loving us. Never ever ever. You in this room are God's beloved.Sermon Notes:  https://www.bible.com/events/48977429Prayer Requests: https://ccefc.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/2509/responses/new

In Subversive Archaism: Troubling Traditionalists and the Politics of National Heritage (Duke UP, 2022), Michael Herzfeld explores how individuals and communities living at the margins of the modern nation-state use nationalist discourses of tradition to challenge state authority under both democratic and authoritarian governments. Through close attention to the claims and experiences of mountain shepherds in Greece and urban slum dwellers in Thailand, Herzfeld shows how these subversive archaists draw on national histories and past polities to claim legitimacy for their defiance of bureaucratic authority. Although vilified by government authorities as remote, primitive, or dangerous—often as preemptive justification for violent repression—these groups are not revolutionaries and do not reject national identity, but they do question the equation of state and nation. Herzfeld explores the political strengths and vulnerabilities of their deployment of heritage and the weaknesses they expose in the bureaucratic and ethnonational state in an era of accelerated globalization. Iqra Shagufta Cheema writes and teaches in the areas of digital cultures, postmodernist postcolonial literatures, transnational digital feminisms, gender and sexuality studies, and global south film studies. On this week's #SWYSI we are again joined by journalist and commentator Alex Kaschuta, host of the popular "Subversive" podcast. Speaking from her home in Romania (having previously lived in London), Alex reviews modern Britain from the viewpoint of a traditional east-European conservative. She also discusses the "The New Right" -- or, more correctly, the latest incarnation of the New Right. In its current form, today's "New Right" draws together a disparate collection of traditionalist conservatives from the USA and further afield who reject the "old conservatism" (sic. recte "neo-liberalism") of libertarian free markets and value-neutral social spaces.
