Long time friends and bandmates Valarie Catharine and Scott Blake came by Bandecdotes this week. They have all sorts of projects going on right now. They have a Niagara local radio station called Thumb 92 FM. They also have been working on a cartoon together based on Valarie's step-dad called Wars of Warlock Wayne. And on top of that they manage to find time to play music together in The Thumbs whether it be live or broadcasted over their twitch channel. I had a blast with these folks. We get talking about aliens, ghosts, and the 90's Behind the Music sensation, O-Town. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️WATCH HERE⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️Like and Subscribe below:Youtube.com/BandecdotesSUPPORT HERE:THUMB 92 FM:https://thum92fm.com/THE THUMBS:https://www.instagram.com/theopposables/ATOM AND EVOLVE:https://www.twitch.tv/atomandevolvePENNY MOON PRODUCTIONS:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSyVLr1Ln0LD0vVKj5FK_qAATTERCLIFF AND THE PILLOWTALKERS:https://www.instagram.com/attercliffe_thepillowtalkers/LASTLI:https://www.instagram.com/lastliofficial/Like, Subscribe, Follow, Rate & Review

Ok. Seriously. Jerry Beasley is one hell of an actor. Don't believe me? Check out Hulu. But on this day, he was sitting in with us. Myself and co host David Banks were joined my mask maker Scott Blake, and the ever talented Shane Ryan Nelms.
Scott Blake is his name. Creature creations is his game. Everyone from John 5 to Dee Snider is wearing his designs. Jack Sparrow? Oh yea. Well, sort of. What about beard oil? We got to that too. Coming at ya from George's Neighborhood Grill with Shane Nelms from the band Melodic Body and JL Media Today's own David Banks (Screenland Squadron, Headline Nuz and Indy Drinking Dead), Scott's business Yordreem Creations was a hit. At a convention or a commissioned piece, this guy has it all.

Famous for his series of bar code art and infamous for his rogue art/public statements placed in various chain stores, artist Scott Blake has made a name for himself. He even got noticed internationally for his pictures and video of him "complementing" certain works of public art around Omaha and other controversial artistic projects. In his return to the show, we talk about what he has done artistically, how the Art-O-Mats are doing, and what new things he has in the works. In this episode I am joined by Omaha artist Scott Blake and the creator of Art-O-Mat, Clark Whittington. Clark started the art-vending revolution by turning old cigarette machines into ultra-cool small art vending machines. Scott Blake, known for his Bar Code Art, has also received national attention and will be hosting an Art-O-Mat machine here in Omaha Nebraska. This show is a little longer than normal, close to an hour, but is well worth it to hear the story of how this art revolution got started. The machines are all over the country (and some out of the US) with artists from around the world.
