Fashion is fun, and Marie Widmyer has made fashion fun for herself and her daughters with several shops that they own. Growing up in the foster care system, Marie found fashion as an escape from a difficult upbringing. And as she once dreamed of opening her own store, she now hopes to inspire others to follow their own dreams. In addition to her stores, Marie has managed the 3Cs fashion show for the last 10 years, helps her daughter run fashion week in Coeur d'Alene in the spring and late summer, and in 2019 was crowned Mrs. Idaho. She has had her share of experiences that have taught her that sharing her story allows her to connect with herself, heal, and connect with others. "If you have a dream, I encourage you to go do it. Don't let fear keep you from it. Don't let disconnection happen. Go start today, regardless of your circumstances."

Join us in this conversation with Marie Widmyer as we discuss resilience and courage, how we choose to see life after difficult circumstances, making the best of every situation that we have and much more. She shares the acronym GRAB: Go - Start today, regardless of your circumstances. Reach - Release your past and reach for the future. Achieve - Start by setting small goals each day. Believe - You can do it. Don't ever give up! Are you ready to dive in and give it a listen? This is one fantastic episode! Marie is an entrepreneur, business owner, was Mrs. Idaho America in 2021, a pageant Director, mother of four adult children, and Mimi to two adorable granddaughters. She has been married to her husband, Steve (former mayor of Coeur d'Alene) for 36 years. Spending her youth in foster care, Marie was determined to not let her negative past circumstances predict her future success. She turned her love of fashion into a thriving business featuring women's boutiques with two locations in Coeur d'Alene, and one in Brooklyn, New York. If you would like more information, to donate or get involved in the organization, Safety Net, that Marie talked about you can visit the website at Safetynetinlandnw.org  Also if you would like to connect with Marie you can find her by her name on social media and also on her shop's website at www.marmaladefreshclothing.com or Instagram @marmaladefreshclothing   Do you find yourself unsure or stuck? Connect with Debbie at www.leadyourlituplife.com and schedule a 30 minute clarity call. She can help you become crystal clear about what you do want in your life and help provide tools so you can show up as your best self.  Debbie helps entrepreneurs make a lot of money, doing what they love without sacrificing what's important to them, so they can live the life they desire. She is passionate about helping other entrepreneurs lead their businesses instead of the business running their lives, so they can have their hopes, wishes and dreams come true. She also is an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University.

Sometimes, pod is better, and this week J and Q prove that by floating on down and talking all things Stephen King. Today marks the official release of Kölsch and Widmyer's remake of Pet Sematary, so we celebrate by going on a trip through history to visit King's coke-addled 80s adventures, the 90s King dramas, and the ongoing Kingassainse to discuss which films worked, which ones didn't and which ones still make us make a Cujo in our tighty whiteys. We cap this week by creating your definitive list of the Top 5 Stephen King Adaptations of all time! These are the ones that took the story King wrote and presented them the best and most faithfully on-screen. Trust us, people are going to want to know your opinions once this new Pet Sematary and IT: Chapter 2 come out this year. Don't get caught with your Tommyknockers hangin' out!
