David Winans Jr. has the uncanny ability to be at the right place at the right time. As the first born son of what would become a Gospel family dynasty. He has a PHD (Pamper handling Degree) after changing the diapers of the most Grammy winners…his siblings not to mention being the unofficial official Big Brother, (yep I meant to say it like that), of one of the greatest entertainers to ever live, Whitney Houston. He has amazing stories about his time as a musician and how he just happened to be at the right place at the right time to witness and play a part in MJ history. He gives the inside scoop on what it was like to be in a room with Siedah Garrett, Quincy Jones and “Smelly” during the recording of Man In the Mirror. Take a listen! Afterwards check out his group David Winans Pi.

US by Jordan Peele, doesn’t disappoint! Some how he is able to exploit the audience’s fears while revealing the social ills of America without dragging down the film or coming off too preachy. This film unapologetically introduces the world to a highly educated deeply melanated suburban family that you’ll recognize in your family no matter the hue. As if that’s not enough Mr. Peele manages to give us the ending of a lifetime on par with that of Psycho. Prepare to have a gnat fest in your mouth because it will hang open in shock, horror, and dismay at the end! Take a listen and let us know if you agree.
WIDOWS starring Viola Davis was greatly undersold, under-marketed, and under-promoted. It was an AMAZING ride from beginning to end! There were so many twists and turns that you won’t blink your eye until the end. It’s definitely worth your time and only a shame that we missed it on the big screen! Take a listen and let us know if you agree or not.
