Send us a textEver notice how the same habits that stabilize recovery also stabilize your pipeline? We dig into the leadership mindset that sits beneath selling, sobriety, and self-mastery, and why the strongest credibility comes from consistency, not a job title. From the first minute, we challenge the blame game and replace it with ownership—controlling the process in sales and our actions in life—so results stop being random and start being repeatable. We unpack emotional sobriety as a competitive edge: the ability to stay calm when deals wobble, to pause instead of panic, and to meet objections with curiosity. That shift turns pressure into empathy and fear into trust. Along the way, we show how feedback and humility create an ongoing growth loop. Coachability beats charisma, and pride isolates; the people who keep winning ask what could I have done better even when they win, then translate that insight into the next call, the next meeting, the next day sober. You'll hear practical standards you can apply right now: prepare before you perform, track your reps, and model the behavior you want from your team. We talk about moving from achievement to contribution—service in recovery and value in sales—and how alignment with your values attracts the right clients, mentors, and opportunities. Titles don't lead; predictable integrity does. When you lead yourself first, you build a life and a business that others can trust. If this resonated, share it with someone who needs a reset. BEST ! STATE Podcast - Stark denken, handeln, leben

In this enlightening conversation on hardiness, I sit down with Professor Jeremy Jamieson to delve into the intricate world of stress, mindset, and neuroscience. The discussion explores how our perceptions of stress can influence both mental and physical well-being and the potential for science to reshape these experiences. This session unpacks the ways in which mindset coaching can transform stress from a debilitating factor into a powerful tool for growth. What You'll Learn: The Role of Stress: Discover why experiencing stress is essential for personal growth and peak performance, whether on the field or in everyday challenges like exams and job interviews. Mindset Matters: Learn how shifting your psychological orientation can have profound effects on your physiology and engagement with challenges. The Science of Stress Responses: Understand how chronic stress affects the brain, particularly through changes in the amygdala and frontal lobes, and how interventions like acceptance and commitment therapy can reverse some of these changes. Epigenetics Explained: Dive into how epigenetic factors play a role in stress responses, and the surprising ways stress can impact not just the individual, but subsequent generations. Mother-Baby Connection: Explore how a mother's stress levels can affect her child, reinforcing the subtle yet powerful ways in which our environments are communicated from parent to offspring. Neuroplasticity and the Brain: Gain insights into how the brain adapts and changes in response to stress, highlighting the potential for positive transformation. Key Takeaways: Stress should be viewed as a challenge to refine and expand our capabilities, rather than a purely negative experience. Transforming your mindset can significantly alter both your physiological responses and your overall engagement with life’s challenges. Genetic dispositions aren’t permanent; understanding and manipulating the epigenome can open pathways to healthier stress responses. The connection between mothers and their babies exemplifies how our nervous systems communicate stress, affecting development from a very young age. Neuroplasticity offers hope that we can rewire our brains through informed practices and change the path of our stress responses.

We've all seen the programs promising to “fix” your money mindset. But are they truly helping women step into power, or just selling us the same story in a shinier package? In this conversation with Suzanne Longstreet, master mindset coach, NLP trainer, and co-author of The Millionaire Codes, I ask the questions many of us are secretly thinking: ✨ Do women actually need more money mindset coaching, or do we need a new system altogether? ✨ How much of our struggle is “limiting beliefs” vs. systemic barriers like patriarchy and pay inequity? ✨ Why confidence often trumps competence in the workplace (and how that leads to narcissistic leaders). ✨ What it takes to stop apologizing, start owning your authority, and rewrite the rules of leadership. This one gets real. I bring the spice, Suzanne brings the strategies, and together we unpack what it really means for women to lead, earn, and receive with clarity and confidence.

Send us a textHave you ever told yourself "I can't do this" based solely on past failures? That moment when your mind convinces you something is impossible despite how much stronger, smarter, or more capable you've become?During a recent Strive Elite workout, I witnessed a member reach her breaking point while attempting an exercise she believed was beyond her capabilities. Tears welled up as she repeatedly told herself she couldn't do it. What followed was a powerful lesson about how our limiting beliefs—often based on outdated experiences—can create artificial barriers to our potential. The breakthrough came from a simple pattern interrupt: standing up, taking a breath, and listening with fresh perspective. After resetting her mindset, this member not only completed the exercise but performed three full sets. The limitation existed solely in her mind, not her physical capabilities.Sometimes we need to borrow belief from others who see potential in us that we don't yet recognize. As a coach, I frequently tell my clients: "I'm not going to ask you to do anything I don't believe you can do." This external confidence can bridge the gap between self-doubt and self-belief until you prove it to yourself through action. This principle applies universally. My entrepreneurial journey includes what I call my "graveyard of businesses"—failed ventures that could have reinforced the belief that success wasn't possible. Instead, I maintained that success was inevitable; it wasn't a question of if, but when. Strive 11 emerged after five years of ups and downs, demonstrating that persistence eventually overcomes temporary failure.Whatever goal you're pursuing, remember that your past performance is not your permanent truth. Set mini-milestones, celebrate small wins, and be willing to step back up to the plate and swing again. Your breakthrough is waiting on the other side of that limiting belief.Have you been holding yourself back based on outdated beliefs about your capabilities?

This matters. Because if you're constantly saying yes to what's familiar, you may be unintentionally saying no to the future you actually want.I also share one of my favourite quotes by Augustine of Hippo, the myth of Prince Charming, and what happened when I started saying “no” to Wednesdays. If you're hoping this year will turn out differently, this is the episode that reminds you: hope isn't a strategy. Katherine has transitioned from elite athlete to mindset and technical coach, and brings such a powerful perspective on how women in sport evolve over time.   We talk about what it truly means to balance athletic identity with motherhood, and how mental performance support is just as critical as physical training. Katherine shares her journey through high-level wrestling, coaching, and entrepreneurship, and we dive into how adaptability, joy, and mindset impact both sport and life. We also discuss changing the culture around weight in combat sports, building community for female athletes, and empowering the next generation to thrive beyond just performance. This is such a grounded and inspiring conversation about redefining what strength and success look like as women in athletics.   Connect with Katherine: IG: @katherineshai  Website: https://www.luchafit.com/    Learn more about the Practice Brave Fitness Program: https://briannabattles.com/practicebrave   Need workouts for your pregnancy or postpartum? What if your mindset coaching skills, not your marketing, are the real bottleneck holding your business back? I'm joined by Dr. Kasey Jo Orvidas, a psychologist and creator of the Health Mindset Coaching Certification, to explore how building stronger coaching skills, especially around client mindset, can dramatically shift both your client results and your business outcomes. We talk about how mindset work shows up across the board—from client retention and satisfaction, to sales call conversions, and even how you create content. Kasey shares practical insights from her own journey and explains why addressing mindset goes far beyond just “good vibes only.” If you've ever felt stuck with a client who “knows what to do but just isn't doing it,” this conversation is a must-listen.
