Today we will read of the charge for all disciples to live according to their calling. To be the salt of light of the world as we are being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ and in effect preserving and seasoning the world with the good news of the Jesus.

This episode, we’ll be talking about the relationship between holiness and the law of God. First, we’ll define holiness. Next, we will look at the importance of holiness and some other topics will include: vows, health, clothing, land, and last but not least national holiness.

In today’s episode, we are going to be talking about three topics that help us understand the relationship between sacrifice and the law of God.   First, we will look at why we need a doctrine of human sacrifice. Second, we’ll figure out what the principle of vicariousness is. And last but not least, we will see why restitution is a requirement of God’s law.

As we study today’s text, we are going to see the blessings of being a peacemaker and the blessings of being persecuted for Christ. Then we are going to see why Jesus commands us to rejoice on account of the heavenly reward awaiting His faithful followers.

As we continue to look at the first discourse of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, which is called the Beatitudes, today we read further of three more blessings of being a follower of Jesus Christ. In verse 6 we find a blessing that relates to being our spiritual hunger and thirstiness and God being the only one who can satisfy and provide us with righteousness.

On a mountain in Galilee, Jesus begins His Sermon on the Mount and begins by explaining what it truly means to be blessed or happy. What it means to be truly favored by God. In today’s text, He shows us what true happiness really is. He does this by explaining eight characteristics of those who are blessed. Matthew Henry writes these should represent to us the “principal graces of a Christian”.

In this episode, we’ll be talking about the altar and capital punishment. We’re going to talk about how the altar establishes the death penalty, sacrifice, and the altar as a declaration of life.

In today’s text (Matthew 4:23–25), we see Jesus’s ministry beginning to grow. He starts healing all the afflicted from throughout all Galilee and beyond. We’re going to cover three points from the text. First, we’re gonna look at Jesus as the great Teacher, Preacher, and Healer which we see in verse 23. Second, we’re gonna talk about why we must bring Jesus our suffering and come to Him in need of a Physician. Thirdly, we will find that in response to being healed by Christ we must follow after Him.

The Throne of Law, which refers to the manifestation of God’s presence and glory in and through His Law. We’ll cover three topics: 1. The Law of the Sanctuary 2. Why there can only be one tabernacle 3. How Jesus is the new temple

Today's episode is a study on Matthew 4:18–22, which is where Jesus calls His first disciples, Peter and Andrew, and James and John. We'll look at the command of Jesus in calling His disciples to Himself.

The second commandment and more specifically the Lawful approach to God. How are we to approach God lawfully and according to His word? We’re gonna cover three topics: 1. Idols in worship - How the literal use of idols in worship is forbidden. 2. The regulative principle - How we are to approach God is entirely by His ordination. He gets to decide how we come to Him in worship. 3. Covetousness - Which is the broad definition of idolatry

Today's episode is a study on Matthew 4:12–17 where we see Jesus begin His public ministry after John the Baptist is put in prison and Jesus begins preaching the gospel in Capernaum.

The Molech state, which is generally a divine kingship or in other words the king as god or the god as the king. Of course, this is not in favorable terms. The god in a Molek state is, in fact, a false God. And it’s important we realize what God has to say about such a state of affairs.

Today, we’re going to unpack a few principles from the preface of the Law where God reminds Israel of His grace in delivering them out of bondage. We’ll also see an aspect of Shema again found in Exodus 20, the giving of the ten commandments.

Jesus rebukes Satan for his request of worship in exchange for all the kingdoms of the world. We are reminded that we must only worship the one true God alone.

In today's episode, we'll talk about the Shema, the first commandment of God. I'll explain seven principles of the first commandment and why it is the greatest.

Today we are going to talk about why we have to rely upon God’s protection and provision. We have to trust in Him to provide, even when it looks like we are in need. Also, we’ll talk about the importance of knowing the Word of God, not only knowing the Word but understanding it. We have to let God’s Word lead our lives, be a light to our path a lamp to our feet.

In this episode, we’ll be talking about the validity of the Law of God. Why is it important? Well, the Law reflects the nature of God. Paul writes that the law is holy righteous of good. Most importantly, it's how we love Jesus. Jesus said if we love, keep His commandments.

Today's podcast episode is a sermon on Matthew 4:1–4 which is where Jesus is lead by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Jesus reminds us that man does not live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.    

In today's episode, we will be studying Matthew 3:13–17 and seeing the significance of the baptism of Jesus.  Amazingly we will also see the manifestation of the Trinity, we see God the Son being baptized in obedience to the will of God the Father, who declares His pleasure in His only begotten Son. In this episode, we’ll be talking about the clarity or perspicuity of Scripture. The topic came up when I was talking about tattoos and how they are part of the ceremonials law, which are no longer binding because their substance is Christ and how they're the same as the food, drink, and clothing laws.  But it was brought up that many Christians have a varying interpretation of the texts, but I was adamant about the perspicuity of Scripture. Today we are going to be talking about baptism, in particular, we are going to look at the difference between the baptism of John and that of Jesus. We are gonna see how water baptism is the lesser of the greater baptism by the Holy Spirit by fire.  I hope by the end of this episode you will have a new understanding of the spiritual significance of baptism and how water baptism is an illustration of the inward baptism by the Holy Spirit. We must look within ourselves to make sure that we are in Christ and remember that our life will be tried by fire and only that which is good fruit to God and done by faith will remain. This episode, we’ll be talking about bridling and taming the tongue. We’re gonna be looking at James 3:1–3 to see what James has to say about our tongue. I’m going to be focusing on one of the three analogies James uses in regards to the tongue: one about a horse found in verse 3. By the end of this episode, you’ll be able to see why our tongue is one of the most dangerous aspects to our Christian life (if we’re not careful).

How can we be reset to our original setting as God created us?

John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus, he cried out a call to repent and announced the arrival of God’s kingdom. Today we’re gonna talk about 3 things: Following the path of Jesus, the rule and Lordship of Jesus, and how we should follow John’s example in his preaching of the truth and pointing to Jesus.
