Jag left his high flying investment career, lost everything, and built his life up again from nothing in a totally different way. He retrained as a therapist, working mostly within the scope of womens emotional and sexual trauma, giving true meaning and value back to his work, and his life. This is a genuinely valuable listen for both women AND men. These are some of the topics we cover Money does not buy happiness Coming back to what you truly enjoy The true meaning of endings Shedding toxic people Having no money after having lots Trusting the universe Negative self talk Men navigating the emotional freedoms their fathers have have not had What Jag would say to people feeling suicidal Forgiveness?? PTSD is estimated to affect 57–75% of Australians at some point in their lives, and it's a condition that a lot of people aren't talking about, recognising, or understanding how to navigate. I believe so strongly that this is such a vital conversation to share. I understand how incredibly difficult and vulnerable it can be for people, especially men, to speak about their own PTSD experience, so I am forever grateful to Ash for sharing his story publicly. If anyone wants to learn more about Dovetails for Diggers, you can reach him here… https://www.facebook.com/dovetailsfordiggers/ A few of the things this episode covers; Army life. PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) signs and symptoms. What to expect when getting diagnosed. Navigating panic attacks. Ash's tools for recovery. The meditation of simple tasks.
