„Es ist erstmal schmerzhaft, seinen eigenen Schreibtisch herzugeben.“: Marie Seliger, Innenarchitektin und Head of Consulting und Transformation bei bkp, beschreibt damit einen Punkt, der in vielen Projekten unterschätzt wird. Veränderung ist nicht sofort positiv erfahrbar, auch wenn die Bilder, Grundrisse und Konzepte längst überzeugen. „Da triggert der Raum viel, aber am Ende muss sich die Kultur verändern.“ Über die perfekten Arbeitswelten wurde schon viel gesprochen, wir alle kennen die perfekten Visualisierungen. Deshalb habe ich mir das Headquarter des Bauunternehmens MFB in Meppen ausgesucht: mit Blick ins Grüne, Tiny-Houses und einem Team, das selbst mitbaute. Damit es eben kein Verwaltungs-Elfenbeinturm wird. Nur: Wie kommt man dahin? „Partizipation heißt nicht, basisdemokratisch alles mit allen zu entscheiden.“ Stattdessen, so Marie, brauche es Leitplanken und Entscheidungen, die für die Organisation anschlussfähig sind. Befindlichkeiten Einzelner dürfen keine Rolle spielen. Irgendwie ist es wie immer im Leben: den Raum gibt es oft, aber die Unternehmenskultur hat noch Nachholbedarf. ((00:11:59)) VS: Alternative Absatzmärkte für Schafwolle Die Haltung von Schwarznasenschafen hat im Wallis Tradition. Doch viele Züchter:innen treibt die Frage um: Wohin mit der ganzen Schafwolle? Denn anders als noch vor 40 Jahren gibt's heute kaum Geld mehr für die grobe Wolle, ein grosser Teil landet im Abfall. Das muss aber nicht sein. Einige Schafbäuer:innen haben neue Absatzmärkte gefunden - und nutzen die Wolle als Bastelmaterial, zur Pelzherstellung oder sogar als Düngemittel im Garten.

Seit bald anderthalb Jahren reisen Franz und Pia Feldmann mit ihrem Wohnmobil-Truck um die Welt. «Wir nehmen jeden Tag, wie er kommt, haben keinen genauen Plan», so Franz. Die Spontanität gebe viel Freiheit. Momentan weilt das Paar im Oman im Südosten der arabischen Halbinsel. Franz und Pia Feldmann leben ihren Traum. Ihren Job als Lehrerin und Sportjournalist haben die beiden an den Nagel gehängt und entdecken die Welt. Seit September 2024 reisen die Abenteurer mit ihrem umgebauten Bundeswehr-Lastwagen um den Globus, so lange, wie es sich richtig anfühlt. Begonnen hat ihre Reise in Wangen (SZ): «Wir dachten, wir fahren mal Richtung Ostsee, mit der Idee, wieder heimzukehren und erste Reparaturen zu erledigen. Doch wir kamen noch nie zurück», sagt der ehemalige Oberstufenlehrer und Sportjournalist. Stattdessen fuhren sie quer durch Europa. Über Schweden und Finnland bis nach Griechenland, wo sie den Winter verbracht haben. Danach reisten die Glarner weiter nach Armenien und Georgien und schliesslich durch den Irak in den Oman, wo sie derzeit mit ihrem Camper unterwegs sind und eine neue, fremde Welt entdecken. «Eine schier grenzenlose Gastfreundschaft» Mit ihrem umgebauten Truck sorgen Franz und Pia Feldmann fast überall für Aufsehen. Ihr Camper sei eigentlich ein Tiny House auf Rädern, erklärt Franz. Oft werde gehupt, fotografiert oder gewinkt, wenn sie Halt machen. Kein Wunder bei diesem rollenden Zuhause. Besonders beeindruckt sind die beiden von der teilweise grenzenlosen Gastfreundschaft unterwegs: «Die Leute sind unglaublich herzlich, laden uns ein und helfen uns jederzeit weiter.»
