Yeh, so this was one of those episodes that really solidify my vision of the podcast. Sure we started off on some regular degular nonsense, but then we got to the nitty gritty and stayed there. Truly classic. I was joined by old friend Rob, AKA RobWNTR, as well as VB (Bvby Buddha), Jon (Nesu), and Edwin, who you'll hear snoring in the background. They are all crucial parts of the multi-genre musical group BADPPL and we got together in Manhattan, NY to perform at Maria Salazar's book release party. We talked about dealing with death, musical legacies, and much more. Songs of the mind: Intro - "Cluttered Minds" by Thirty, "Erase Me" by KiD CuDi (ft. this episode was cool. it was chill, it was fine. the guest was cool, we had some moments of just staring, i wondered if we'd get an hour in. it was cool though. i was joined by The Mix Loft recording studio owner, and my uncle-in-law, Jack Montel. We talked about what it takes to build a business, sound-proofing, dealing with celebrities as people, and more. And he also keot mispronouncing Swami Da Bullhemian as Swami Da Bohemian, which...I dunno. Happy New Year folks! A new year means a new season here at the Cluttered Minds podcast and for episode 1 I was lucky enough to be joined by the great Jodeliz Cora, creator of Love, Jode, a life coaching service for all women. We talk about her transition from the "9 to 5 to stay alive) mentality to prioritizing her passion, as well as what life coaching really entails. We also talk about why we should leave the N-word in 2019. This episode was amazing. Top five, and not five. I got the grand opportunity to chat with the owner and creative mind behind one of my favorite brands, Stanley Rameau. He gets into what inspired him to create the Paul Rameau brand, how he and his team keep things fresh, and the plans for the future. We even get into Kanye West, which is always a conversation I'm up for. Still #teamKanye. uhhh, pretty interesting and raw late episode this week. I met these two besties on some random shit and I'm gonna be producing a podcast for them soon. Chris, a model, and Kayla, another model, talk a lot of shit and are as aggressive as I think I come off as, so we get along great. We talk about their humble beginnings, goals, and what makes their friendship work. We also get existential, which is always great. Support Paul Rameau brand, your renaissance will be registered. Another one for the books! Read up! (I hate that I said that. I could delete it, but I won't.) Marq and Santos are back together for the weekend and get to really do the cohost game right! Joined by Chayes, host of The Vault w/Chayes and YouTube's Swipes and Giggles, joins the duo as they discuss TI's shenanigans and how they reflect a couple larger-scale issues. honestly love these two. they really do know how to make me feel, i dunno, better, i guess. anyways, my cousin Chanel, her best friend (go best friend), and I really have a good time with this one. we start with Tank and his "suck dick twice" theory, which brings us into a conversation about the double standards of male sexuality and exploration. after that we get into why Jodeliz, formally known as Jode, decided to embrace her name. We call our cousin Joseph and he drops some gems. It was a great time honestly. support Paul Rameau brand, your renaissance will be registered. as awkward as this episode sounds at times, we really did have a good time. kinda dragged in the beginning and for that i'm sorry. but not really sorry. just kind of sorry. anyways. on this bonus episode, I was joined by my cousins Bry and Chanel, as well as the so-close-to-the-family-that-they-count-as-a-cousin Jodeliz. we talked about the Bothem Jean case, protesting, relationships and more. picture this. a lone podcaster DMs an iconic podcast duo and schedules an episode. didn't realize how far a drive he'd have to make before he agreed to bring the studio to them, and didn't even plan what the three would discuss. lo and behold, they're all quick-witted and improvisational to make a good hour and a half of content for the ages. from lesbian stories to porn habits, Star and Pattymayyo are great guests and even greater hosts of Fuck Yo Podcast aka FYPodcast aka Fypodcast. support Paul Rameau brand, your renaissance will be registered. Got a bonus episode for the hodgepodge! This impromptu episode allowed me to practice the new format again, while conducting an interview I find important to the culture of hiphop. I got the opportunity to interview Hero, a 21 year-old, white rapper from Massachusetts. I thought I would need to be aggressive, but honestly, he's a nice guy. We get into the tough questions, making sure Hero is on the right side of this. We talk about the white rappers I like. We also get to call an old Army friend of mine, Allen, who is a wedding photographer! Find him and his services by searching Elope Asheville.
NEW STRUCTURE ALERT! NEW STRUCTURE ALERT! I tried something a little different this episode. brought some much needed (so I've been told) organization to my chaos and I'm a fan of it. what do you guys think? Quise and I talk about monogamy, courtesy of a post by wassupwitit podcast! then we get into the moment that brought our friendship to another level. we call Aldra, a singer-songwriter from Cambridge, MA and host of the Villens Den podcast every Thursday 5-7pm on Somevillemedia.org and on Boston Free Radio via Facebook live. she's got a lot of things in store for those who have the wherewithal to receive it. also catch her hosting the Middle East Corner Open Mic every other Wednesday from 9pm-midnight. as always, lookout for Swami Da Bullhemian, BADPPL, Thirty, and more, wherever you listen to your music also. you all are now referred to as "the fucking hodgepodge"

my brotha, my playa, the shark slaya! i dunno why i said that. it's not relevant to the podcast, its not relevant to the episode. my cohost and i kick it like soccer offense and tackle the hard topics. we talk embarrassment, suicide, and that's it i think. anyways, love that guy.
if I'm honest with myself, this episode in its entirety is probably my favorite one. no arguing, no yelling over one another, no posturing. just me and my brother talking it up. fuckin love this guy. wish him happy birthday. stream his album "96" on all platforms. just start it on repeat when you're about to sleep, turn it all the way down, so he can get some streams. be a doll. anyways. we talked about his birthday, his album, our favorite rappers, and nicki minaj.
I know, I know, wild name. Get over it. We really only spent like 15 minutes on cunnilingus anyway. and it's at the end. Anyway. I'm joined by Chayes (or C Hayes, doesn't matter how you say it, as long as the flavor is in ya mouth) and Mike Dubb (aka yungmikedubb aka Mike Dove) on this one as we discuss Bill Cosby, R Kelly, Tyler Perry and more. it's a good listen. so yeh.
this one was a rollercoaster of sorts. me and 'ze chop it up with our new pal Loupeeh and our old problematic bud Mr. Gracias. we talk twitter, the economy, and side piece preferences. we even call a KKK hotline, ya know, just for kicks. buckle up kids.
