It's been one hell of a year y'all! So many things that have happened and so many things to leave behind. I'm going to run down the year in music, entertainment and f**kery as well as give some updates on my comedy schedule and what I will and will absolutely NOT be F'N doing going into 2024! Have a save and Happy New Year!

I want better for all of us in 2024. It starts by really sticking with and standing by the people that have what you need. Please take care of those real people in your life that really love you. Don't let all these phony social media highlight reel have you doubting what's real around you. Cause nothing and nobody is perfect.

This week, I had the please of sitting with one of the greatest producers and characters that Hip-Hop has ever heard! From his Bad Boy hits to Mad Rapper Skits, D-Dot has one of the most storied careers not only as a member of the legendary Hitmen, but as an artist and creator own his own. We talk his start, Black Rob's Life Story 2, BIG and share stories of our times with him, Pac and many others on this week's episode. Enjoy y'all!

It's too many people out here letting other people's opinions about them hold too much weight and are giving it way too much energy. Dee 1 is telling the truth, just like Dr. Umar was and Rick Ross and others can't seem to handle it. A lot of these rappers and executives haven't don't nearly enough in the streets or for the people to talk how they do. I'm addressing a lot of it today y'all. PARENTS! WE ARE FAILING OUR CHILDREN! And I am not exempt from that statement. It's time to talk for real and I'm going to share what I've seen as well as what I've personally experienced being a parent and trying to give my kids "everything I didn't have" as well as giving them the things that I needed when growing. After that, I got a list of people I am sick and tired of hearing about every damn day! And it's the Christmas season and I know what these kids want this year. It's C'MON SON! Now GTFOHWTBS!

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all! I hope you are taking this day to be with your family and the loved ones you consider family and appreciate all the things that you do have that you can thank God for. Stop putting artist like Andre 3000 in a box and there's 10 things you definitely should NOT be doing this Thanksgiving and I have the list on this episode! C'mon Son!

Do you want to be famous? Do you REALLY WANT to be famous? What would you want your claim to fame to be? Can you deal with the lack of peace, sleep and privacy? Are you ready for allegations like Diddy, Will Smith and R. Kelly and for the public to automatically assume that they are true? This week we talking fame y'all. I love enjoying my life where it's at right now. I often wondered why I didn't hit certain levels, but some parts of this fame game, I want NO PARTS of.

This week we pay homage on the week of the 30 year anniversary of The Wu-Tang Clan's debut album! The Masterpiece known as Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers! Take a moment to relive this entire album with me as we celebrate one of the greatest groups of all time as well as one of the greatest albums of all time y'all! And my producer, Cam P. would absolutely not let me do this show without at least mentioning A Tribe Called Quest's Third Album, Midnight Marauders, which also turned 30 Years old alongside 36 Chambers on November 9 1993. Let's celebrate a true classic in hip-hop y'all!

Influencer Keith Lee was definitely not wrong in his review of Atlanta Restaurants. It's sparked me to tell y'all some of the experiences I've had with Black Owned Businesses while living in Atlanta.All of them aren't bad, but a lot of them need word. I'm going to also give y'all my TV Host Mt Rushmore and also relay a message that God has put on my heart to give to y'all today. I pray it finds you well or puts in you a better spirit.

I love Hip-Hop so much y'all! I love everything that I've been able to give, receive and do because of it and I got to thank Y'ALL for making this ride really mean something. I got to talk about One Music Fest and the amazing time I had as a host as well as a recipient of an award and a proclamation. And then We got to talk Dwight Howard and some other things. C'MON SON!

What's up y'all!? RIP to my man, Mark The 45 King. We had a lot of great history together and for those who may no know, he's the man behind the production of "The Ed Lover Dance". I salute him but you know I got to address all the BS with my man DJ Envy, my girl, Cardi B and that plastic face BI**H, Elon Musk and how he has totally Fawked up the platform formally known as Twitter with all this new X bullsh*t! It way more going on than that so check it out, son!

It's been a wild week in the news and in hip-hop and I can't stay silent anymore y'all. I got to talk about all this dumb ish with Will and Jada! Now Will looks even WORSE with the latest interview from Jada. Keefe D is trying to jam Diddy up and 50 Cent is adding fuel to the fire. And Joe Budden was right about Drake's album and it's time Drake gets back to making better quality music with actual dope artists!

You know I couldn't let this week go by without talking about everything surrounding Keefe D and Pac. I give my thoughts on that and they I get into this list of the Greatest Selling Rap Albums Ever! Hip-Hop has an official best selling album ever y'all! Do you know which one it is?

This week, I take a moment to relive some of the biggest and best hip-hop albums ever released at the start of fall/late September. The time period Sept 22, 1980 to Sept 29, 2000. Lot of critical acclaim and quite a few classics dropped in this timeframe. Do you think we left any out? Let us know in the comments.

It's been literally a year since I saw Wu and Nas in ATL, so I had to chop it up with my producers after they saw Wu and Nas in Nashville. I talk about that along with all this beefing and social media going on between grown men. I'm not feeling that AT ALL y'all. This is the raw and real from Ed Lover!

This week has a lot of things on my mind and spirit y'all...This is the week that Pac died so, I'm going to share another story that you may not have heard before. This week is also Nas birthday, who I was also with the same day I heard about Pac passing and I can't believe that MTV celebrated 50 Years of Hip-Hop at the VMA's and Yo! MTV Raps didn't get any kind of mention or acknowledgement! And I can't do this show without saying RIP to my friend, Tracy Cole. Gone way too soon and I'm going to miss him.

This week on the show, I have the very brilliant lawyer and world traveler, Lisa Bonner! We trade interesting travel stories and she talks on the benefits to traveling solo and why everyone should do it no matter what age they are. Lisa also talks her bestselling book, The LegaliTEAS of Entrepreneurship and how it just might help you, if you're trying to get your business off the ground!

I just want to talk with y'all this week. Talk about the things I see online and in the news. Women need to do better. Men need to do better and I'm going to say something about it. Also want to talk about the insurrection dummy and some great experiences I've been having. Let me talk my ish, son!

This week is actually Part 2 of last week's episode with Snypa and Hitmaker D-Aye, because in the midst of that interview, Big Gipp of the Legendary Goodie Mob group and Dungeon Family crew was rolling through and NO WAY could I not sit and chop it up with him about about his relationship with Snypa and D-Aye and the differences in today's artist from his era and most what influences his own personal style. People always judge you for your age and try to limit what you can do or what you are supposed to do for your age, but F**K that S**t, son! I'm one of the few people that have lived long enough to say I knew B.I.G and Pac and they were my friends. I've survived some of OUR favorites and some of my best moments are with legends and household names. I will no longer be ashamed of turning 60. I've seen too much hip-hop history to be ashamed! RIP Tyre Nichols. It's sad that another young black male has lost his life at the hands of law enforcement. What makes this even harder to digest is after Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Mike Brown and George Floyd...Black Cops helped a white cop take a black mans life and celebrated about it. It's some sick ish, son! Ed had to come forward and say something. Prayers and condolences to the Nichols family and friends.
