Post Malone's Unstoppable Rise: From Cowboys Halftime to Fashion Icon and Country Hitmaker

Post Malone BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Post Malone has dominated the headlines in the past several days, with a wave of developments showing his remarkable momentum in music, fashion, business, and pop culture. The biggest news swirling right now is the growing speculation that Posty will headline the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving halftime show later this month. The NFL team's cryptic teaser video—a truck, cheerleaders, cowboy boots, and a classic Dak Prescott bobblehead—all but shouted Post Malone, and the fan chatter online is reaching fever pitch, according to American Songwriter and El Paso Times. With the Cowboys set to take on the Chiefs, if he does perform, it will be a defining homecoming moment for the artist who grew up a diehard Cowboys fan, thanks to his father's work with the team. This spotlight comes hot on the heels of his foray into country, where Post Malone released F-1 Trillion in August to near-instant success, topping both UK and US charts. Hits Daily Double now confirms the album has moved more than 880,000 units this year—an achievement that's already reshaped his place in both pop and country history. Since the spring, Malone has been touring and making festival headlines, including a show-stopping set at Coachella, where he openly reflected on being labeled a one-hit wonder early in his career, urging fans to believe in themselves and ignore the doubters, as reported by Parade. The collaborations keep coming. Post and Morgan Wallen announced a new single, I Ain't Comin' Back, scheduled to drop this Friday, April 18, as detailed by TBS News. Social media engagement remains strong, with @postmalone's Instagram boasting 27 million followers and earning him between $54,000 and $74,000 per month, according to HypeAuditor. The latest campaign making waves features Malone stripped down to camo briefs for SKIMS, Kim Kardashian's high-profile brand, giving the launch of its men's heavyweight fleece extra star power. Images of Malone against Utah ranch backdrops captured by photographer Theo Wenner have been widely praised on social media and major outlets alike.Amidst the attention, fans have fixated on his dramatic weight loss—a transformation from 240 to 185 pounds that Malone attributes to cutting out soda and eating leaner, healthier meals as reported by NYU's Bulk publication. His father recently reassured fans in a statement to AOL that the singer is the healthiest he's been in years, dismissing worries about wellness. On the business front, Malone's longtime manager Dre London dropped new insights in a recent Earn Your Leisure podcast, recounting Post's journey from New York gamer and rapper to global superstar and mentioning how London's tequila venture, Don Londrés, has quickly pushed $2 million in sales—a reminder of the artist's broad entrepreneurial instincts.Rounding out the pulse of pop culture, fans and Queer Eye's Karamo Brown have joked on Twitter about sending Malone for a makeover on the Netflix sensation, with Post poking fun at himself while praising the show's hosts. With the ongoing Grammy buzz and new collaborations in Nashville making waves—verified by VPM/NPR—there's no sign of Malone slowing down. Whether it's new music, major TV moments, fashion collaborations, or just unapologetically being himself online, Post Malone is squarely in the biographical fast lane. And if those halftime rumors prove true, expect the next chapter to be bigger than ever. All reports point to a star refusing to be boxed in, driven as ever by self-belief and boundary-pushing creativity.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Věřím tomu, protože to má nějaký smysl,“ říká. Nejen o tom je rozhovor s Michalem Davidem.

You might recognize TAVE's name from his Grammy-nominated work on Black's album "Since I Have a Lover," but this episode is extra special—it's TAVE's very first interview ever. Adam leads TAVE through his story, from discovering the piano at age five thanks to an abandoned upright in his family's London home, to working the church musician circuit, eventually landing gigs on world tours with acts like Mark Morrison and All Saints—all before his 20th birthday. TAVE opens up about his struggles with sight-reading, locking into the groove of live performance, and how an IT job almost kept him from pursuing music full-time. When the pandemic hit and live gigs dried up, TAVE made a life-changing pivot: focusing on production and songwriting, dedicating himself to building a legacy that would outlast any stage. That leap of faith paid off, leading to collaborations with artists like Masego, a Grammy nod, and now the launch of his own solo project—'Difference Now' being his latest track. Honest, down-to-earth, and loaded with insight, TAVE's story is for anyone who's ever wondered what happens when you back yourself, focus on your authentic voice, and decide it's time to "leave something behind." It's that time of year when Walter Afanasieff takes over the charts. Walter is the writer and producer of “All I Want for Christmas Is You”—the biggest Christmas song of all time—and he also produced “My Heart Will Go On.” But that's just the tip of the iceberg. From writing and producing with Mariah Carey to working with Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Barbra Streisand, Walter has been behind some of the most unforgettable songs in music history. He co-wrote dozens of hits with Mariah Carey, including “Hero” and “One Sweet Day”—the record-breaking duet with Boyz II Men that held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 16 weeks. And let's not forget “My Heart Will Go On”—yes, the Titanic theme with Celine Dion—which earned him a GRAMMY for Record of the Year. Walter also won the Producer of the Year GRAMMY in 2000.This year, he's nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media for his song "Love Will Survive" with Barbra Streisand from the miniseries The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Walter co-wrote the piece with Hans Zimmer, Charlie Midnight, and Kara Talve, and produced it alongside Peter Asher. In this episode, we dig into Walter's incredible journey through the music world. From his early days working with Narada Michael Walden (fun fact: Walter played synths on “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”) to collaborating with some of the biggest voices in history, Walter is an absolute legend. Attention, dear listeners! This episode carries a few advisory warnings. We're delving into content that features a song peppered with a spicy word or two and discussions that may not be appropriate for a younger audience. It's not exactly "shield your grandma's ears" material, but it's certainly not kindergarten fare. Consider this episode to have a "PG-13" rating—there's a bit of mischief, but all in good fun. Our squeaky-clean reputation? Well, it's taking a tiny holiday! If what you hear doesn't offend you, then you may end up laughing with us. Is Derringer Discoveries now a comedy podcast? With the hitmaker Dean Friedman joining us, the answer is a definite yes! If you're not chuckling throughout this episode, perhaps it's time to see if your internal laugh meter needs a tune-up. Additionally, we delve into Dean Friedman's 2005 UK tour, which nearly came to a halt due to a cannabis controversy! Can you say scandalous? Indeed, it was so scandalous that 39 of the 40 venues canceled upon learning of Dean's plans! We give a shout-out to the one venue in Scotland that supported Dean amidst the uproar. But this is not the worst of it! In this episode, we analyze a song featuring a teenage protagonist who was (and may still be) a frequent visitor to the Golden Arches. A song so troubling that, in 1982, it was actually banned by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and it derailed Dean's career. This episode also features a mix of positive, family-friendly content. For instance, we discuss how the vegetarian protagonist in Dean Friedman's international Top 40 hit "Ariel" influenced Paul Derringer's romantic life. Tune in to the episode to discover more! We also learn of Dean's 44-year marriage to the love of his life, Alison. How many famous recording artists can make this claim? We don't know! (That's why we're asking.) Furthermore, we reflect on Dean's illustrious 47+ year career in the music business, minus the almost 20 years he was exiled on a remote desert island (well, not an actual desert island - just New Jersey) after being banned by the BBC in 1982. Besides the US and Canada Top 40 hit "Ariel," Dean also scored two Top 40 hits in the UK, with one reaching #3 in 1978. Interestingly, the same song banned by the BBC in 1982 was eventually covered by Canada's Barenaked Ladies and then it became a US Top 40 hit for another recording artist! That artist took it all the way to #1 in Norway. What happens next after you've written a #1 hit? Well, if you're Dean, you license the song to one of the biggest corporations in the world and it becomes a major radio and television commercial. To seal the deal, Dean agreed to revise the age of the person with whom the protagonist is in love, even though they were originally both the same age! Furthermore, you can no longer identify anyone in the song as a virgin. Gone is the purity! And no more polyester, which is how Dean described the clothing worn by the Golden Arches employee in the original version! US listeners have likely heard the commercial, a snippet of which is included in this episode. It's best enjoyed with a cup of coffee, which will become clear upon listening. After experiencing this fun-filled episode, you will have the opportunity to see Dean Friedman "live" in concert. Starting in early 2025, Dean will be on tour in the US and then the UK.
