Depuis dix ans, des dizaines de milliers de membres volontaires ou forcés de Boko Haram et du groupe État islamique en Afrique de l'Ouest (Iswap) se sont rendus aux autorités du Nigeria : soit 120 000 ex-membres, selon l'armée. Le ministère de la Justice est impliqué dans le profilage de chaque cas, avec des poursuites engagées contre les auteurs de crime de masse. En parallèle, le Nigeria s'appuie des mécanismes de justice transitionnelle pour encourager ce retour des repentis dans des communautés où souvent vivent leurs victimes. Des tentatives de réconciliation collective qui se déroulent alors que les deux groupes armés islamistes attaquent toujours des localités du nord-est du Nigeria et dans les pays du bassin du lac Tchad. Rencontre avec des ex-combattants. De notre correspondant au Nigeria,  Après 15 ans de clandestinité, Umar réapprend à revivre dans Maiduguri, sa ville d'origine. Il y a deux ans, ce jeune homme au visage scarifié quittait les rangs de l'Iswap. Umar rejoint alors la capitale de l'État de Borno, pour y retrouver deux amis, Ibrahim et Aliyu, qui depuis l'hébergent dans un camp informel de déplacés internes. « Au début, quand je suis arrivé ici, je préférais le lac Tchad, parce que j'étais habitué à cette vie-là, alors quand je suis revenu ici, j'ai eu du mal à vivre, parce que je me sentais tout le temps coupable, comme si les gens m'observaient et me regardaient comme un animal et non comme un être humain », explique Umar. Umar reconnait avoir participé à de nombreux raids meurtriers de l'Iswap ces dix dernières années, sur le pourtour du lac Tchad. Umar affirme qu'il a renoncé à l'ultra-violence. Pourtant, rien ne l'atteste : « Quand j'ai tourné le dos à l'Iswap, je n'ai suivi aucune formation professionnelle, ni aucune déradicalisation, car je suis un homme d'affaires et j'ai l'habitude de travailler. J'ai donc continué à m'occuper d'achat et de vente. Je suis habitué à faire des affaires », confie Umar. Ils ont, eux aussi, déposé leurs armes via le programme « Safe Corridor » encadré par l'armée nigériane. Et rapidement, Aliyu et Ibrahim ont intégré un groupe de miliciens volontaires, dont la majorité vit dans ce camp informel. « Les programmes de réconciliation sont utiles, car parmi tous ces gens qui se repentent, désormais certains d'entre eux viennent travailler avec nous, explique Muhammad Samaila, le commandant de ce groupe. Nous patrouillons ensemble dans la brousse. Ils guident par exemple vers tout endroit où la présence de membres de Boko Haram nous est signalée. Nous avons ainsi pu attaquer ces terroristes avec plus d'efficacité à plusieurs reprises. » Et comme ses amis Ibrahim et Aliyu, Umar a aussi rejoint ce groupe de miliciens. Dado o conservadorismo político que está a surgir com cada vez mais força em Portugal e no mundo, procurei no relato da Manuela Tavares pistas para continuar o trabalho feminista. Os recentes ataques aos direitos humanos são alarmantes e para compreendê-los fui conversar com uma das mulheres que esteve presente nas lutas feministas no momento de ruptura com a ditatura em Portugal. A Manuela foi uma das mulheres que em 1976 fundou a UMAR, na altura chamada União de Mulheres Anti Fascistas e Revolucionárias e hoje União Mulheres Alternativa e Resposta. Com as mulheres do bairro do Pragal teve a coragem e audácia de ocupar um palácio para construírem uma creche que as ajudasse a criar os seus filhos. Participou no primeiro momento de ativismo político no parlamento português, como parte da campanha da despenalização do aborto, que durou anos e da qual participou ativamente.  Em 2011, publicou o livro 'Feminismos, Percursos e Desafios (1947-2007)'. Na conversa com a Manuela encontrei energia e força e uma história tremenda de entreajuda, amizade, e amor entre mulheres e pelas mulheres. Fiquei emocionada e muito inspirada com este percurso. The recent attacks on human rights are alarming, and to understand them, I spoke with one of the women who was present in the feminist struggles at the moment of rupture with the dictatorship in Portugal. Manuela was one of the women who, in 1976, founded UMAR, at the time called the Union of Anti-Fascist and Revolutionary Women. With the women of the Pragal neighborhood, she had the courage and audacity to occupy a palace to build a daycare center to help them raise their children. She participated in the first happening of political activism in the Portuguese parliament, as part of the campaign for the decriminalization of abortion, which lasted for years and in which she actively participated. In 2011, she published the book 'Feminisms, Paths and Challenges (1947-2007)'. In my conversation with Manuela, I found energy and strength and a tremendous story of mutual support, friendship, and love among women and for women. I was moved and very inspired by this journey. Manuela's voice is calm and comforting, perhaps exactly what we need now.

Talha Ibn Ubaydullah رضي الله عنه (S48) There is a false report which claims Marwaan Ibn al-Hakam (r.h) was the one who killed Talha رضي الله عنه. This is not the case. Ibn Arabi (r.h) states that there is no authentic chain supporting this. Ibn Kathir (r.h) said it was someone else who killed Talha رضي الله عنه. Marwaan (r.h) was on the same side as Talha رضي الله عنه, why would he kill him? Marwaan (r.h) was later placed governor of Makkah by other Companions (رضي الله عنهم), would they place an evil doer there? Ali رضي الله عنه praised and spoke highly of Marwaan (r.h) and Marwaan (r.h) praised and spoke highly of Ali رضي الله عنه. It is clear that someone is targeting these blessed souls. Books of history record everything. These poisoned people take texts out of context which are most of the time fabricated and use it to fuel their propaganda. Ali رضي الله عنه had utmost love for Talha رضي الله عنه. When he saw the body of Talha and his son, Muhammad رضي الله عنهم, he was heartbroken. He رضي الله عنه said: “Would that I had passed away 20 years prior”. (I.e in the Khilafat of his blessed son in law, Umar رضي الله عنه).
