On this episode of “Bad Speakers TV,” Ya Boi Shad and G. Downs sat down with the self-proclaimed prince of the South, Lil Scrappy. Lil Scrappy shared his life story, starting with his upbringing in Atlanta, Georgia, with his grandparents. Later, he moved in with his mother, unaware that he would stay with her for the rest of his adolescence. After relocating to a more urban area with his mother, Lil Scrappy faced challenges with kids who were more advanced than him. He also spoke about his mother's drug dealing, pimping, and hustling activities, including hiding money in various locations. Lil Scrappy's journey into hip-hop began when he started writing music at the age of 10. With his mother's financial support he engaged in activities like photo shoots and CD printing to promote his music. A pivotal moment came when Lil Scrappy met Lil Jon and signed with BME Records after his hit song “Head Bussa” became a local sensation. He also recounted how he secured a record deal for the Atlanta group Crime Mob by simply mentioning the group to the record label. Lil Scrappy discussed the success of his hit single “Knuck If You Buck” and how he felt compelled to jump on the record. He also spoke about the breakup of Crime Mob and the reasons behind it. Lil Scrappy shared his early hit “No Problems” and mentioned his first album as a joint effort with the group Trillville. He also talked about the tension he faced when he wanted to collaborate with hip-hop icon and mogul 50 Cent. Lil Scrappy described 50 Cent's personality and how he offered financial assistance during a difficult time when Lil Scrappy needed mouth reconstructive surgery. He also discussed his hit single “Money in the Bank” and how it led to a residuals deal with the WWE. The WWE named one of their pay-per-views after the song, and Scrappy continues to receive money from them to this day. He then talked about signing with Ludacris and how the deal didn't work out in the long run. He also discussed the hit single “Bang” by Young Jeezy featuring Scrappy and T.I. and how the song came about. There was also an unreleased video for the song. He spoke about Kanye West and his recent rent situation, explaining why he understands some of Kanye West's statements. He also discussed how he earns money from the hit single “Buy You a Drink” by T-Pain and Young Joc because they used the song's money in the bank. He also talked about dating Amanda Seales. He also discussed Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, explaining his decision to join the show and how the opportunity arose. He addressed the authenticity of the show, delving into the viral episode where he and Stevie J engaged in a fight. Additionally, he shared insights into his relationship with his baby mom, Erica, and his interactions with other cast members on the show. He talked about his podcast and his top five Atlanta rappers of all time, including who he currently listens to and his current interests in hip-hop. Finally, he discussed his brief stint as a wrestler and his desire to do it again, but this time with the WWE. https://www.youtube.com/c/BadSpeakersTV https://www.instagram.com/badspeakerspodcast https://www.tiktok.com/@badspeakerspodcast https://twitter.com/BadSpeakers https://www.facebook.com/badspeakerspodcast

Rapper Cam'ron recently made headlines for his fiery response during an interview with CNN anchor Abby Phillip. The interview took a disastrous turn when Phillip brought up the topic of Sean "Diddy" Combs allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie. Cam'ron was quick to criticize the reporter and question who had booked him for the interview. The incident occurred as Cam'ron was discussing the now-viral video showing Diddy getting physical with Cassie. The rapper did not hold back his feelings, showing clear frustration with the line of questioning. Cam'ron's outburst left Phillip stunned and the interview quickly took a downward spiral. But Cam'ron was not the only rapper to share his thoughts on the situation. Lil Scrappy also chimed in, expressing his willingness to confront Diddy if they were to run into each other. Scrappy's comments came amidst the multiple lawsuits Diddy currently faces over alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking.Diddy, the founder of Bad Boy Records, has been entangled in legal issues surrounding his personal life. The video of him assaulting Cassie brought these allegations to the forefront once again. Despite the controversy, Diddy issued a response to the video, addressing the situation and expressing his regrets. The incident involving Cam'ron and Phillip on CNN highlights the sometimes contentious dynamic between rappers and the media. While interviews are typically meant to shed light on important topics, tensions can arise when personal or sensitive subjects are broached. Cam'ron's reaction demonstrated his unwillingness to engage in a conversation about Diddy's alleged assault, and his frustration with being booked for an interview that touched on the controversial incident. In a separate instance, Lil Scrappy also voiced his opinion on the matter, expressing his willingness to confront Diddy if their paths were to cross. Scrappy's response reflects the loyalty and protective nature often found within the hip-hop community. As artists and collaborators, they often form close-knit relationships and feel a sense of responsibility towards one another. The legal troubles surrounding Diddy should not be overlooked. The mogul has faced numerous lawsuits regarding allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking. These allegations have undoubtedly tarnished his reputation and put a spotlight on the darker side of the entertainment industry. With the video of Diddy assaulting Cassie going viral, the public's attention has been firmly fixed on the alleged incident. While Diddy did respond to the video, expressing regret for his actions, the controversy surrounding the situation persists. The ongoing legal battles serve as a reminder of the importance of accountability and the need to address such serious allegations.Overall, the interview with Cam'ron on CNN and Lil Scrappy's response bring to light the complicated relationships between rappers, the media, and personal controversies. Through these incidents, the public got a glimpse into the emotional and sometimes volatile nature of the hip-hop world. As the legal battles surrounding Diddy unfold, it remains to be seen how this situation will ultimately be resolved and what impact it will have on his career and reputation.

If you didn't know by now, I'm a huge fan of professional wrestling since I was a kid. In elementary school, I would fantasy book my matches using my G.I. Joe figures. I even pulled from the epic Bloodline story to develop promotional ideas for my podcast. I'm that guy when it comes to pro wrestling. Lately, I've been watching VICE's hit docuseries, Darkside of the Ring. One episode in particular that followed one of my favorites growing up, Junkyard Dog actually coincided with our latest episode of the show. Baron Black, promoter and founder of Battle Slam made his debut appearance on CashColorCannabis not too long ago. A veteran on the indie wrestling scene, Baron saw an opportunity in the game and filled it. Based in Atlanta, his promotion has showcased many stars who you may have seen on television as well as given an opportunity to new names in the game. On the night that Darkside of the Ring aired the Junkyard Dog episode, we spoke with Baron Black about Battle Slam, how he broke into the game, black representation in professional wrestling, bringing big names to Atlanta, Lil Scrappy and more. It is Thursday on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. To start the show off, we have to start with some bad news. Tina Turner passed away yesterday at the age of eighty-three. Her passing comes after a prolonged illness. The rock & roll legend was acknowledged by many celebrities and every day people on social media for being the incredible icon that she was. Beyoncé and Angela Bassett are among some of the celebrities that made touching posts in remembrance of Tina Turner. Prosecutors are looking for the max prison time for Tory Lanez because they believed he displayed a complete disregard for the safety of others and the neighborhood around him. Jeff Johnson is live in the studio today and giving us Three Things We Need to Know. Today is the three year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. There were many companies and corporations that made commitments to the black community and only four percent of those commitments have been made. It is time to hold these corporations accountable. Momma Dee had some things to say about Bambi after she said that nobody knew Scrappy until she married him. Momma Dee said Bambi has some dirt that she knows about. On What's Trending today, The RSMS Crew talked about what today's kids will never know about. AND MUCH MORE FUNNY!!!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We discuss Voting, Pa run and not voting for Oz, How the Dems came together over Abortion. Also we touch on Russia thinking the Ukraine was sweet and losing the takeover. Tevin Campbell gets mention in the same sentence as Frank Ocean. Sidebar it had nothing to do with nothing but fun none the less. Kyrie Irving suspension and LeBron back tracking his throwing of Kyrie under the bus. Kareem Abdul Jabbar weighs in on the situation as well. Brittany Griner update, not so good news. Isiah Thomas wants a public apology from Jordan which he knows will never happen. Miles Bridges puts a restraining order out on his ex GF after stalking him and stealing his dog. Which leads to me asking if the guys would put a restraining order out on a female, which then leads to me asking if they would ever take on their Girlfriends last name in marriage. You gotta hear their answers. Lil Scrappy tells Momma Dee she ruined his life. Reality tv updates, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, and R. Kelly updates. And a whole lot more on this fun filled show. So press play and be sure to subscribe. #IntelligentIgnorance #TheJaySuttonShow #SyndicatedTV
