It's like The Exorcist, but with more break dancing.
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast I'm running back some of the happenings from the last four months that it's been since the last episode. I'm talking a little ancestral knowledge I've learned along the way, the significance of Xipe Totec, the influence of The Smiths, The Cure, and post-punk in general in the Xicano/a community and how wild it is that others are just finding out about that, why cholo culture being appropriated is mad cringe and... Donnie Darko. That movie is dope as hell, I use it to teach a lot of different parts of philosophy in class like time travel, free will, and the absurd to name a few - some of the real horrifying shit in life when we seriously pause to consider it. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode we got lots to talk about. For starters, one of the Epstein lists has been released, and rather than talk about the human trafficking element side of it, I go in on the effect it's had on undermining the sovereignty of the United States instead. Don't get me twisted, the trafficking and exploitation of children is unquestionably reprehensible and the sickos that engaged in these actions deserve punishment to the fullest extent imaginable, but belying this is the real root of the problem that some Blue Anon MF'ers are still trying to dismiss. The US straight up has been bought and sold homie and the hustle only exists cuz our politicians were abusing their power, and that's the issue few are discussing. I got you though, and offer a little hope in the form of ancestral Nahuatl ways that show why such leadership is disgusting as well as how we can potentially fix it so we can build a better world from the smoldering ashes of this one. I close off by pulling a complete 180 and going in on some psychoanalytic film analysis on Belly, as mentioned in the previous episode. That movie is mad philosophical and deserves its flowers in my humble opinion, and DMX and Nas team up with Hype Williams to give us a masterpiece on what it's like to navigate the struggles of the hood. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm running back some lingering thoughts on the episode I did with Allaa and talking about the ancestral responses to some of the points he advanced. I'm also digging into to religion in general and offering a multitude of ways in which I feel they can be interpreted. I'm talking everything from simple practices designed to ensure the survival of a small group of people to complex rituals designed to open portals as practioners prepare to transition from this dimension into the next. And somewhere in between all that I introduce the bi-cameral mind and how religion may very well be nothing more than a remnant of a time in human evolution where people were unable to recognize the voice inside their heads as their own and ascribed it to the voice of a 'god', instead. I'm not saying the Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or any other God aint real homie, I'm saying they have no bearing on my life cuz I am my ancestors and my ancestors are me, and when I die I will be welcomed back to the Mictlan with open arms to join them. In the mean time? Well, to quote the great Vince Staples, pimps needs Porsches and h*es need abortions, so if you thirsty please grab a Sprite. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm rejoined by my colleague and dear friend Allaa Salama to talk a little bit about Islam. If you've listened long enough you already know your boy is not religiously inclined - despite that, I have no problem chopping it up with those who are cuz regardless of my own personal biases, I am fully aware that there are insights religions can provide that have been perfected through time and passed on to help us live meaningful, self-actualized lives, and believe it would be short sighted to dismiss them simply cuz of their source. This is where my boy Allaa comes in the mix. Islam is hotly contested at the moment given its rise around the Western world - the question is, is this really the result of some 'globalist conspiracy', or is there perhaps some insights that it offers that are not satisfied by Christianity? If you ask my boy Allaa, he'll say that's exactly what is up, but ultimately, it's up to you to decide. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm going in on all the reasons why I not do not celebrate holidays dedicated to the legacy of the military of this settler-colonial country. I used to be conflicted about this back in the day cuz beyond being a veteran myself, I have mad loved ones and homies who are vets as well, so despite the fact that I knew we signed up to defend the interest of the international banking cartel, part of me always justified it cuz how TF else were we supposed to escape the hood, nah mean? Once I started learning ancestral knowledge, that changed profoundly when I realized that, beyond being confused workers aligning with the bourgeoisie's interests, we were also exploited men and women who had our instinct to protect finessed by predatory military and recruiting practices. This episode def aint for 'the patriotic', but I'll remind you that we served to uphold the Constitution of this country, which includes the freedom of speech, which is why I can comfortably and confidently say this country is diseased and Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day, and any other holiday celebrating this death cult are a joke. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and for my first episode back in two months, I wanted to share with ya'll some of the reflections that have come to me in meditating with our sacred Tezcatlipoca. I'm talking finding meaning on this slippery earth Tlalticpac, navigating the trauma that keeps us from doing so, Asian foos who rep Chicano culture, and everything in between. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm talking Roko's Basilisk, the Sentient World Simulation (SWS), and The Simpsons uncanny ability to seemingly predict the future. At first I wanted to try and debunk that idea that the writers on The Simpsons were somehow reaching into the future to tell us about what was to come using game theory, but then I learned that the US government - surprise surprise - runs a program the (SWS) that could very well contain us living everyday lives in it, and now I'm not so sure that not only have The Simpsons used the information gleaned from this program to tell us exactly what is going to happen. It's all about predictive programming and revelation of the method homeboy, and now beyond wondering if we're secretly lorded over by occultists, I can't help but feel a tinge of terror in thinking I personally - and of course you, as well - may be nothing more than digitized simulacra living in a hard drive somewhere in a government installation. And Descartes thought he had it bad. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast I'm doing a little hip hop pedagogy on the Kendrick Lamar deep cut HiiiPower. So much deep philosophy on this track and I wanted to get into the work of perhaps the most obscure philosopher KDot mentions, Marcus Garvey, who was best known for his ideas on pan-Africanism, repatriation, collectivism, taking pride in one's cultural heritage, education aimed at mobilizing the masses to overcome their oppressors, and all that other fun shit that makes YT liberal academics quiver in their ivory towers. Can't help but wonder if the reason they never teach Garvey has less to do with the quality of his ideas and more so with the potential effects they may have. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast I'm delving back into Nahuatl philosophy to discuss how the problems of the today can only be addressed by speaking to the hearts and faces of the men that have been systematically disillusioned by this diseased western world. We are def in the 'weak men make hard times' era right now, and it's a beautiful thing, cuz in the struggle is where our precious stone can be best cultivated, where we can become the best version of ourselves that our communities need to overcome these troubled times. 'They' don't like this message cuz 'they' would rather keep us content and seeking to dull and pacify us with the comforts of modern living, but time and again this has proven to have disastrous results for men in general - and given the role we play in the structuring of society - to culture as a whole. This episode comes on the heals of the four year anniversary of the El Paso Wal Mart shooting, and as a citizen of this town, I can tell you with utmost certainty that feminism, Christianity, or any of the other ideas of the western world are going to save us, only a return to ancestral ways. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit for the 100th episode of this podcast. To celebrate the occasion, I'm digging in the crates and breaking out the foundational elements of hood philosophy. Hood philosophy is everything this podcast is built on and so much more, but I've never gone into detail what exactly it is and why I feel it is important. I do so with this episode and discuss ways it will help solve much of the pain and sorrow that the Western tradition of philosophy simply never can cuz they do not speak to out hearts and faces. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm going in on the Bud Light fiasco and explaining why they can give a MF less about any boycott launched against them. That's cuz Environmental Social Governance is here and with Blackrock giving them all the federal reserve money they need to stay afloat, the last thing these corporations are concerned with anymore are the views of the rest of us. Of course, it don't stop there, as all this is tied in with central bank digital currencies, social credit scores, environmental concern, and all the other playbook those of us in the conspiracy underground have already known about for some time. Regardless, the real beef is less with who's one the cover of Bud Light and more so what's being ushered in behind the spectacle - and while we're so caught up on the transgender spectacle, the real authoritarian nightmare is sneaking in right under our nose with little to no push back. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm going in on how the current political spectacle is all just a massive cover up for the impending economic crisis/world war that the US is plunging head first into as we speak. Mass shootings, drag story hour, fake alien invasions, and all the other distractions we're constantly bombarded with will pale in comparison to the horrors of war/collapse, so it seems weird to be so caught up on divisive issues when the real struggle will affect people of all political ideologies if such scenarios come to be. I'm also going in on ways that humans could potentially be evolving due to the continued experimentation we are subjected to here in the open-air prison we live in, and how this could potentially be a reason for our current political climate. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking the psyop of Bill Gates, the farce of private land ownership, and why conspiracy theories themselves are a limited hangout created to keep most of us from doing anything about the aforementioned and so much more. Believe me homie, coming to this understanding was a difficult one on my end, but there's only so many times you can here peepz complain about not wanting to 'eat ze bugs' or how Bill Gates is buying up all the farmland - after a while it's like aight then, what's next? And the answer from a dialectical materialist perspective is abolish private property, something most 'conspiracy theorists' aint trying to do cuz depsite all the pretense, they're really not as 'woke' as they fashion themselves. And all the while they're circle jerking about things of no importance - like flat earth - the vampires are at our door waiting to come in, like Billy Boy who is nothing more than an actor playing a part to maintain the facade that we have a government of the people for the people and not a parasitic class blood suckers - the bourgeoisie - who are sucking us dry. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking about the relationship between the military industrial complex and pop culture. It's a quick intro but it's a subject that's mos def close to home - gangsta rap music has been an enormous influence on me and hood philosophy, so you can imagine my heartbreak when I discovered that it may very well have been nothing more than a creation by fat cats in marketing agencies to help advance the agenda of the lizard people at Illuminati headquarters. And it doesn't end there, as everything from the hippie movement in the 60's, the grunge era, and beyond may very well have been mass produced to help perpetuate the proliferation of drugs and for-profit prison complexes designed to simultaneously make money off our backs and destabilize bourgeouning revolutionary movements. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm digging I go down the Terence McKenna rabbit hole. TMac has been a great influence in my life and helped save me from a very dark place at one point, so it's only natural that his work would have an impact on what I do. In this episode, I introduce some of his more prominent ideas - such as the stoned ape theory, time wave novelty zero, complexification, to name a few - and discuss how they relate to the 'Divine Dialogues' episode and Nahuatl thought. Most importantly, I talk about how they helped me through the darkest time in my life - T R I G G E R W A R N I N G. I do discuss the topic of yeeting oneself of of existence for the first thirty minutes, so if the thoughts of unaliving oneself are something you are not comfortable with, I encourage you to skip to the 30 minute mark to avoid the conversation altogether. If you or a loved one is struggling with such thoughts, dial 988 for help.
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm going down the artificial intelligence rabbit hole and chopping it up with an AI. We sat down and discussed - well, I sat down, the AI I'm not so sure - all things from the level of concern we, as humans, should have about potentially being exterminated by our robot overlords, whether or not Elon Musk is simply being hyperbolic when he tells us we're 'releasing the demon', if Alex Jones truly is a threat to democracy, the existence of free will for humans and how AI plays into that, and my personal favorite, the possible existence of inter-dimensional beings in Kant's noumenal world. It was a wild conversation that entailed many interesting repercussions, I'm looking forward to sitting down for another one in due time. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking human experimentation, megadeath, apocalypse and all the other terrors that have been waged against us here on Turtle Island by an elite group of people who thrive on misery. MF'ers will look at shit like this (bougie liberal academics from the suburbs) and dismiss it as 'frivolous conspiracy' that according to them has 'no place in philosophy', when in reality it aint nothing more of a historical and phenomenological account of real-life philosophy that is far removed from the privileged confines of academia, and how by dismissing it they aint doing nothing more than helping the folx who hate humanity continue to do their thing. It's all good though cuz despite all that, the enduring spirit of humanity pushes forward and refuses to submit. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm running back some ideas that have been on my mind in the two months since my last episode. I'm talking Ye, anti-everything-ism, Black and Brown unity (or the lack thereof thanks in part to things like the new 'Black Panther' movie), and how the power elite be running all of the above to continue their stranglehold on the rest of us cuz at the end of the day it's all about power homie and 'they' have figured out how to hid that power among the vulnerable communities we live in. Maybe it's conspiratorial, or maybe institutions like the music industry really do be turning us into mindless zombies by creating and perpetuating harmful cultural practices that end with us dead, hooked on drugs, or in jail, like plenty of hip hop artists have been telling us for generations now, you decide. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm using Allison McDowell's concept of human capital to delve further into the relationship between philosophy and 'conspiracies'. I'm talking zombies, brain parasites sucking our energy to advance their interests, and why referring to the 'masters of mankind' as 'the bourgeoisie' is probably more beneficial in the long run than calling them inter-dimensional lizards, even if that's exactly what they are. All of this to get to the final point which is MF them even if that's exactly what they are cuz at the end of the day the power alone is entirely ours and we have the freedom, through philosophical education, to take our energy back from these foos so that we can direct it towards the things we want to do with it, like live a good, happy life. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm delving deep into the collective unconscious and re-emerging with some insights into Jungian thought. Part of the impetus for hood philosophy is the importance of doing that deep-seeded shadow work necessary to discover, address, and work to overcome the deep-seated traumas that are working themselves out in the many self-destructive patterns of behavior that lead us to live unfulfilling lives - drug addiction, alcohol addiction, general lack of meaning and purpose, and so on - so that we may lead happier lives, so suffice to say, this is something I've been looking to delve into for a while now. This is part one on my series on Jung, and I'm delving deep into his views on the ego and how it relates to cholo culture, fake woke social justice warriors, and everything in between. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking cryptids, the messages they spread, and how we can learn to communicate with them. I'm letting other folks deal with skinwalkers and focusing on the role owls play in Nahuatl thought - as messengers of the divinities of death Mictlantechuhtli and Mictecacihuatl, they come baring messages from the Mictlan. If you ask Christian folk, this is a terrible omen, but the rest of us aren't so sure. The only way to know for sure is to speak their language and hope we heed their message to sway teotl the best we can to our favor. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and in this episode of the podcast, I'm revisiting the roots of hood philosophy as a means of trying to navigate these torrential waters - AKA the demands of everyday life - and I'm bringing you along for the ride with me. Mostly cuz we already know 'they' schools aint teaching us what we need to now to survive this experience, and I'm delving in to why studying hood philosophy can potentially help us stay afloat, but also cuz I enjoy your company and I like having you here to enjoy this experience with. MF Plato and reductio homie, I want to know what the essence of time is and why we have to die, nah mean? Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and suffice to say I've missed you. On this episode, I'm talking about censorship, hope social media and rap music have warped my mind, why TF I'm 35 years old and still worried about what Kurupt and Nate Dogg think about my relationship with women, the unacknowledged misogyny and others colonial issues I'm still dealing with in realizing that, my thoughts on the Uvalde tragedy lead to my most recent ZUCC'ing on The Gram, and how this in itself is another example of the war on our consciousness these ghouls are waging. It's all good though cuz no matter what happen 'they' will never win - they can censor us, take us off their social media platforms, and so on, but it won't matter cuz in the end we have the only thing that matters; L O V E. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm digging back into more Nahuatl philosophy and how it's helped get me through the dark days that have haunted me in the wake of my brother's passing. It aint all doom and gloom though, as in this philosophy, there's an underlying message of hope that offers - me certainly - comfort in knowing that all things are impermanent, and that is ok. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm flipping the script entirely and bringing you something a little different than before. I've spoken before about my desire to do a podcast where I talk less philosophy and more current events, and this is my first episode doing so. It's still got all the same type of shit you've come to expect from this podcast - philosophy, conspiracies, and so on - but rather than doing deep dives, I'm talking the events of this past week as filtered through a philosophic lens. In this first episode, I'm talking abortion, the crypto catastrophe and how it's just one of many examples of the fallout of the current state of our global economy, government over reach, Elon and, how corporations are extensions of the US government, and so much more. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and I'm throwing a wrench in the gears on this episode of the podcast by visiting Alison McDowell's thoughts on human capital. We've known the technocrats and masters of mankind have long desired the power to control us, but this latest development takes our worse nightmares of how they could do so and makes them a reality. I'm talking social credit scores, data extraction for profit generation, the complete hacking of our human essence, and so much more. The good news is we are not powerless to fight against this, all we have to do is reclaim the most precious real estate - our brains - to defang these fools who would see us in chains. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm getting back onto another existential trip to talk philosophy, current events and, you know, life. I'm picking up with the philosophy of Heidegger to explain how easy it is to fall into these unreflective cycles that strip us of the ability to make the choices necessary to bring about an authentic life on our end. Reductive Western materialists MF's will tell us this aint possible cuz of the the laws of physics and the problem of free will, and maybe they're right - or maybe that in an of itself is just another way we keep ourselves from taking responsibility for the radical freedom we have. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm talking more shadow work and how philosophy can help us get through the bleakest of times. This episode is mad existential; not in the sense that I'm discussing a particular existential philosopher, per se, so much as in I am picking up many of the issues existentialism is concerned with and applying them confront the elephant in the room - that we've been negatively programmed in 'they' schools to ensure this world we're living in remains in tact. This may be good for the people who benefit from it, but for the rest of us, it leads to alienation, technology invasion, inebriation, relief-based satiation and fallen states of desperation. This don't have to be the default, though - we can recover our existence and make our lives and potentially even the world a better place. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, we're crawling deep into the underbelly of horror. The horror genre has made quite the splash in pop culture lore as of late, and yet despite that, it remains one of the most overlooked sources of philosophical insight available to us. Yeah, you can read the existentialist to gain feelings of hope, strength, and promise, or you can watch IT and learn that all these (and more) are within us - sometimes all it takes is a littler terror for them to be revealed. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm delving into the doctrine of eternal recurrence by my road dawg Nietzsche. Despite the fact that most assume the uber-mensch is the culmination of Nietzsche's philosophy, he himself felt as though it was this doctrine, and it isn't difficult to see why - the specter of infinite return lays bare both the ethical imperative of every choice we make, as well as the preciousness of this every moment. All our joys, al our sorrows, all our happiness and pain experienced in the same order eternally for an infinite number of times - the question is, does this fill us with terror or joy? Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm going back in on the history and philosophical merit - perhaps - of Project Blue Beam. Mad people in the philosophical world would recoil in horror at the suggestion that 'a conspiracy' could have any, but that's why that academic shit is played out. Besides, it's blatant hypocrisy on their behalf cuz they have no problem talking about absolutely improbable thought experiments, like pushing people over a bride to stop a freight train, but when it comes to some shit that can potentially affect us, suddenly the thought experiments are outlandish? Anyways, I'm going in on the history of NASA, why folk in the underground are mad skeptical of them, and how 'they' are trying to take control of our most precious essence, our consciousness, with mass media and technology in hopes of turning us into the mindless drones they've always desired. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm reaching into the past to help ground our roots in the future world we can potentially build. I'm talking Nahuatl philosophy, overcoming the problem of nihilism, learning to find and make strong our hearts and faces, and all the ways this contrasts with the zenith point of western Christian philosophy. Imagining Sisyphus as happy for simply learning to accept the fact that rolling the boulder is his destiny is one thing, but learning what our boulder is and discovering why we're even rolling it in the first place is a whole other story - stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm getting back into some more Nietzschean philosophy. I'm picking up where I left off on the 'Preachers Of Death' episode by going in on the master/slave morality, how it pertains to the will to power, and how the current progressive left liberals of American politics are the all the shit Nietzsche tells us wrong with the slave morality. As an aside, I accidentally forgot to hit the record button for the first part of the podcast, so the audio isn't the greatest for the first 20 minutes - If you want to skip through that and get to the good audio, you can find it on minute 23 onward. Thanks for tuning in, and stay blessed fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking Project Blue Beam, ultra-dimensional beings, transhumanism, the occult, and... Kant? Yeah buddy, all that and then some as I try and center in on what TF Project Blue Beam is even about in the first place. The rabbit hole goes deep with this one homie, and this is the part in an extended series that I'll be dropping dedicated to this complex 'conspiracy' with so much philosophical justification it makes ya boy quiver with a little bit of fear just thinking about it. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm talking Nahuatl philosophy, the importance of shadow work in helping us find a life of purpose, and the dangers of placating ideas that keep us from doing so. The Western world wants us to believe that we aint nothing more than insignificant specs of dust, but I'm here to tell you that that couldn't be any further from the truth, and all of the aforementioned will help us understand why. Stay woke fam, we all want to change the world we're living in for the better, and it always starts by changing ourselves for the better, first...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking all Nietzsche baby. I'm going in on the will to power and how it can be used to help us become stronger versions of ourselves that are capable of starring into the abyss without trembling in fear of what's inside. Stay woke fam, the preachers of death are in the ready to rob us of the beauty of life at every turn...
What's good world, we back from the crypt, and on this episode, I'm continuing to lowride across the foundations of this hood philosophy shit. I'm revisiting a lot of 'Heidegerrian' concepts, namely in terms about how the ability to shake ourselves out of our states of falleness and lead lives of meaning is ever present, with the added twist being that, unlike most German existentialists, I don't take an individualistic approach to this process. I get their argument that the individual alone can do this cuz 'we live in a society and it's comprised of people who have settled for the status quo' and what not, but I'm starting to wonder if perhaps that's just more European colonizing and not a practical way to traverse our philosophical journeys, instead. Don't get me twisted, I value the individual, and we always on the 'born alone die alone' tip cuz that's just a fact, but nowhere does that entail that we have to live life and go along the journey alone. I value community, and this podcast is ultimately centered on that - so if you reading this and listening to this episode, just know that I see you homie. You aint alone, and neither am I - we in this shit together. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm continuing along my nostalgia trip by revisiting the foundation of hood philosophy as I continue to search for therapeutic means to deal with the death of my brother. In this episode, I'm talking about my love for Nietzsche, but also how I break from him radically. I think it's dope the philosophy he gave us, and I find his commitment to it admirable, but I'm starting to question whether a full-fledged commitment to strength is really the answer. Don't get me twisted, strength and the will to power will forever reign supreme, but I'm wondering if perhaps there is something to be said about the strength it takes to admit we are weary and setting down the weight momentarily so that we may recompose ourselves before continuing to carry the load. That's certainly been the case for me lately, and even though I slept up and fell back into some addictive behaviors, I'm happy in that I know it aint about how many times we put the weight down, it's about how many times we can pick it up and keep it moving. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm unearthing the origins of how hood philosophy came to be. I'm talking coping with the death of a loved one, addiction, nihilistic despair, the role K12 and collegiate education play in furthering this role, and how real philosophy can help us recover our lives from this black hole so that we can enjoy a semblance of joy in the brief amount of time we're here on Tlalticpac - all issues that helped me develop hood philosophy, and then some. Special shout out to all of y'all who are still rocking with this podcast despite the prolonged time between episodes, y'all mean more to me than I can ever express.
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that gangsta-ass hood philosophy shit, and for the first episode of Spooky Season, I'm delving into the hidden world of the occult by way of the horror of philosophy. MF's like to front like philosophy and the occult have nothing in common, but this couldn't be any further from the truth - beyond the well-established tradition of occult philosophy, it is my contention that philosophy as a whole is a practice in the occult as it is, by nature, concerned with making the hidden visible. And there aint nothing more hidden than the question of why we die and where we go when our trip on this slippery earth of Tlalticpac comes to an end. So I figured, let's use this question as our stargate to open up further questions about the potential of an afterlife, a before life, and the possibility of aliens, demons, and all that other fun stuff that likes to go bump in the night traversing between the two to arrive in this special place we occupy here and now. Stay woke fam...

So I figured, let's use this question as our stargate to open up further questions about the potential of an afterlife, a before life, and the possibility of aliens, demons, and all that other fun stuff that likes to go bump in the night traversing between the two to arrive in this special place we occupy here and now. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking death, grief, and what Nahuatl philosophy can teach us about coping with both. It's been said by many that the study of philosophy is nothing more than preparation for our own demise, an understanding I further have on a deeper level given a recent loss of a loved one that informed this episode. As devastating as it's been, I take solace in knowing that just as day gives into night, night equally gives way to day, and that soon my loved one will return to this slippery earth of Tlalticpac as another manifestation of Teotl. Stay woke fam, no one ever truly dies...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm picking up on the Coyolxauhqui Consciousness of Gloria Anzaldua. We delving deep into the importance of shadow work as a tool for spiritual revolution, the likes of which are necessary to manifest the changes we seek in this world. This aint some fake-woke social justice platitude on Anzaldua's behalf, though - this is a steadfast challenge for us to reach through the deepest wounds of our being in order to help connect and re-member us to all people's on this planet, irrespective of their background. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking occultism, mass media manipulation, the harvesting of our sacred energy by our reptilian overlords, the role genetics and epigenetics play in shaping the way we interface with reality, and... shadow work? Yeah dawg, all that and then some, namely how these lizard people over at Illuminati Headquarters TM are using mass media as a means of engaging in occultist practices that siphon our sacred energy to help fulfill their dark desires, and, in turn, the power we have to overcome this by reclaiming our power. I introduce Gloria Anzaldua's concept of the Coyolxauhqui Consciousness to help explain how that midnight black shadow work is a necessary means of bringing about the 'spiritual revolution' that is necessary to re-create the better world we desire. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking more Foucauldian philosophy and conspiracies. The MSM has gaslighted us into thinking the fear of medical tyranny is a misguided falsehood perpetuated by 'right-wing nutjobs', but as we'll find, that idea (and the practice that informs it) is part of a longstanding control system that has been used to keep us docile and in check. Stay woke fam, compelled vaccinations, and COVID passports are concerning, but the real threat are the feudal overlords that have been running shit since the days of the dinosaur...
What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm revisiting the spooky roots of hood philosophy by venturing back into the abyss of the horror of philosophy. I'm talking the occult, mysticism, demonology, black metal, and all that other fun shit that goes bump in the night that force us to confront some of the more complicated issues in philosophy, including whether the practice itself is even worthy of merit. Shout out to Eugene Thacker, whose work in the book 'In The Dust Of This Planet' made this episode possible!
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm delving into the psy-op that is growing up in the hood. I delve deep into the relationship between Memorial Day and Indigenous people, a quick intro to the Zoot Suit Riots, cholo culture, the anesthetizing effect of drugs and alcohol in our community, Indigenous survivance, and many more elements of XicanX identity that are equally responsible for and detrimental to our continued fight for sovereignty here on Turtle Island. MF's want to be passive victims to nihility and act like we can't change, but that's just a colonial psy-op designed to keep us from manifesting our true power. Stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking XicanX ontologies and what it means to be lowriding through not just Turtle Island, but across the borderlands of all the hoods across the world. If the SJW's had their way, they'd keep us perpetually separated and in conflict, but hood philosophy aint about that divisive shit - I'm here to set up roots and build connections with people's across the globe, so if you listening to this, I see you homie.
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm delving deep into the postmodern waters with the philosophy of Michel Foucault. I left ya'll hanging without the philosophical foundation for the alleged 'conspiracies theories' on the last episode, so you know ya boy had to do right on this one by dropping all the connections between conspiracies and philosophy. I'm talking the efficacy of Alex Jones, the hypocrisy of purple-haired soyboys, and all that other G shit that separates hood philosophy from the run-of-the-mill institutional variety that refuses to acknowledge and legitimize, despite the fact that doing so would go long ways in addressing much of the ills we're currently facing culturally. It's all good though, cuz as long as I got two turntables and a microphone, this podcast is where speaking truth to power is at - stay woke fam...
What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking NAZI's, secret moon bases, interdimensional reptilian shapeshifters, the Hollow Earth, zombies, the rona... and philosophy? Oh my. I take a philosophical approach to these issues and ask the questions dusty, decrepit academics refuse to ask, like is it possible the NAZI's won WWII, why is the CDC working in tandem with FEMA operating zombie apocalypse drills, if gene editing that fundamentally alters our human genome strips us of our humanity, and all sorts of other fun conspiratorial questions to determine if they truly have any merit or not. One thing is for sure, the fact-checkers and Blue Anon dorks aint going to like how deeply philosophical these seemingly absurd propositions are - we may have been brainwashed to believe conspiracy theories have no merit, but at the core rest some of the most esteemed issues in philosophy, like free will, freedom, sovereignty, and the like...
What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm getting deep in my sad boy feels by talking about the dearly departed DMX. X was a haunted man who was afflicted with a severe sickness of spirit, something we vibe heavily with on this podcast, and so I thought it only right to revisit the roots of this podcast by talking about the recovery element of hood philosophy and how implementing it can potentially have radical ramifications for people both from the hood and beyond. Therapy, shadow work, addiction, mental illness, fighting for institutional change that will truly address the catalysts for the creation of hoods around the world, it's all here in this episode homie, and I am thankful for you being here to check it out. Stay woke fam, we all in this together...
