Et parfois, elle devient une manière de tenir debout.Cet été, je vous propose de redécouvrir un épisode qui m'a profondément marquée et que j'avais très envie de partager à nouveau avec vous.Dans cet épisode des Sens de la Danse, je reçois Jolie Ngemi, danseuse et chorégraphe originaire de Kinshasa.Elle revient sur un parcours aussi singulier qu'inspirant : ses débuts entre l'église protestante de son père et les danses urbaines de Kinshasa, les interdits familiaux, sa rencontre déterminante avec Jacques BanaYanga, puis sa formation à P.A.R.T.S. à Bruxelles.Depuis, elle a collaboré avec plusieurs grandes figures de la danse contemporaine, tout en développant une écriture profondément personnelle, nourrie par ses racines congolaises. Sa création MBOK'ELENGI porte cette énergie si particulière de Kinshasa, où la joie devient une manière de résister, de faire communauté et de continuer à avancer.En lingala, Mboka signifie « le pays », « le territoire ». Elengi, c'est « la joie », « la saveur », « le plaisir ». À travers cette pièce, Jolie fait entrer sur scène toute la vitalité de Kinshasa et nous rappelle que la danse peut être une manière de célébrer la vie, même lorsque tout semble vaciller.Au fil de notre conversation, nous parlons de mémoire, de transmission, d'identité, de création… mais aussi de liberté, d'exil, de courage et de cette question qui traverse tout son travail : Et si la danse était une manière de rester debout ?C'est un épisode profondément humain qui, à chaque réécoute, me rappelle combien le mouvement peut devenir un langage, un refuge et une force de transformation.

La Cisjordanie occupée a connu un nouveau week-end de violences après des affrontements meurtriers entre Palestiniens et colons israéliens, vendredi 24 juillet, dans la localité de Tell. Ces violences continueront de s'aggraver sans action forte du gouvernement israélien. Et cela n'a rien d'anodin à quelques semaines des élections législatives anticipées, que Benyamin Netanyahu espère bien remporter. La violence des colons a fortement augmenté depuis l'entrée en fonction du gouvernement israélien actuel, avec une reprise particulièrement marquée en mars et avril 2026, pendant la guerre entre les États-Unis, Israël et l'Iran. L'analyse de Denis Charbit, professeur de science politique à l'université ouverte d'Israël, dont le dernier ouvrage, Yitzhak Rabin, la paix assassinée ? Une mémoire morcelée, a été publié aux éditions JC Lattès. RFI : Depuis vendredi 25 juillet et ces affrontements mortels entre colons et habitants du village de Tell, à quoi ressemblent concrètement les représailles menées par l'armée et les colons dans le nord de la Cisjordanie occupée ? Denis Charbit : Il faut dire que la situation est dégradée depuis octobre 2023. L'attention de l'armée israélienne s'est tournée vers la bande de Gaza, vers l'Iran, vers le sud du Liban. D'une certaine manière, la Cisjordanie a été un peu livrée aux mains des colons, qui ont pénétré à de nombreuses reprises dans des villages sans qu'il y ait de représailles particulières. Au contraire, les Palestiniens réclamaient que l'armée soit présente et fasse respecter l'ordre public, puisque c'est sa mission depuis 1967. Cette fois, on a franchi une étape de plus. Des colons sont en excursion mais ne préviennent pas l'armée. La situation a dégénéré et, cette fois-ci, abouti à la mort de deux Israéliens et de quatre Palestiniens. Bien entendu, pour les autorités militaires, c'est la preuve que la prise en charge par les colons de la situation peut conduire à des actes de ce genre. Comme vous l'avez dit, le fait qu'on soit dans une conjoncture électorale conduit Benyamin Netanyahu à prendre les devants puisque, en quelque sorte, tout ce qu'il fait depuis le 7-Octobre, c'est de dire : « Je n'ai pas prévu le 7-Octobre, mais maintenant, à chaque fois, dans chaque région, Gaza, Liban, Iran ou la Cisjordanie, je suis là, je suis présent et je déploie immédiatement des forces militaires. » À un moment où l'armée israélienne a du mal à mobiliser les réservistes parce qu'ils sont dispersés sur tous les fronts – c'est rare que les soldats réservistes soient dispersés ainsi –, on se demande si ce n'est pas plus une manœuvre électorale. D'autant que, bien évidemment, pour des raisons de coalition, Benyamin Netanyahu est empêché, d'une certaine manière, de montrer un visage plus ferme à l'égard de ces colons qui, encore une fois depuis trois ans, ont pour ainsi dire maîtrisé la situation aux dépens de l'armée qui est apparue soit complice, soit marginalisée, soit hors-jeu, et que, par cette opération, Benyamin Netanyahu entend rétablir. Pourquoi Benyamin Netanyahu insiste-t-il sur cette politique en Cisjordanie occupée ? Est-ce notamment dû à la présence au gouvernement de deux ministres d'extrême droite – Bezalel Smotrich et Itamar Ben Gvir –, favorables aux colonies en Cisjordanie occupée ? Tout à fait. Sur le plan de l'aide aux colons, Benyamin Netanyahu était sur la même longueur d'onde que Bezalel Smotrich. Là-dessus, il n'y a pas l'épaisseur d'une feuille de papier à cigarette entre eux. En revanche, sur le laxisme vis-à-vis des colons lorsqu'ils prennent les choses en main et qu'ils font des descentes sans réaction militaire significative, cela commence à toucher une partie de l'électorat du Likoud, qui est certes favorable aux implantations, mais qui entend néanmoins bien faire comprendre que l'autorité militaire est la première des autorités et que les colons doivent s'y soumettre. C'est donc une partie assez redoutable que Benyamin Netanyahu mène aujourd'hui puisque, d'un côté, il doit protéger les colons, mais de l'autre, il doit rappeler que l'autorité militaire est la seule qui doit être entendue. Il le fait bien sûr aux dépens des Palestiniens. C'est d'autant plus troublant ou inquiétant que les potentielles insurrections palestiniennes organisées semblent relativement faibles, là où cela peut dégénérer si, finalement, l'armée finissait par toucher des civils. La situation est effectivement explosive, mais du point de vue de l'autorité de Benyamin Netanyahu, quand il y a une opération militaire, pour lui, c'est une manière de reprendre la main, alors qu'il est accusé depuis trois ans d'ouvrir de multiples fronts et de ne jamais parvenir à en refermer une bonne fois pour toutes. Cette politique de Benyamin Netanyahu est-elle soutenue dans la population israélienne ? C'est difficile [à dire] parce que l'opération n'a pas véritablement commencé. Mais disons que oui, le rétablissement n'est pas quelque chose qui scandaliserait les Israéliens. La crainte, c'est de se retrouver avec un front beaucoup plus violent que celui qu'il a été depuis trois ans, c'est-à-dire une réaction palestinienne beaucoup plus vive que celle qui, ces trois dernières années, a été relativement contenue. Est-ce que l'ouverture de cette opération pourrait avoir comme conséquence la mobilisation des Palestiniens et un front beaucoup plus embrasé qu'il ne l'a été jusqu'à présent ?
