This episode is about the need for patience. Oftentimes we don’t want to wait for God to work things out in our lives or we don’t want to exercise patience in dealing with others. In the book of Hebrews 10:36 it says, For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

We all need grace and mercy everyday. God extends it to us even though we don’t deserve it. We should show Grace and mercy to each other.

Oftentimes we are ready to jump ship when things are not going well in our lives. We make hasty decisions in hopes of a quick fix or remedy. However we throw ourselves into circumstances that affect us in a way that can be a matter of death to our future, hopes, and dreams. Stay connected to God’s Word and those that he has put in our lives to speak the Word, lead, and directs us in God’s righteous which is Jesus Christ.

The topic for this episode is Spiritual Pantry. Just as your physical body needs physical food, your true spiritual self, Soul, needs spiritual food. Without daily spiritual nourishment you will wither. Yes, you may be alive, but this does not mean you truly have life.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. believe that ye do receive them, and he that has power to give them, saith, Ye shall have them Unbelief and doubt causes our faith to be ineffective.

He is a present God not a God that has to wait until the conditions are favorable to present himself. King David stated in the book of Psalms 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Were you paying attention? Or were you caught up in the headlines related to the pandemic, the stock market, the BLM movement, the issues in government?

Lean into happiness. Lean into grief. Lean into anger. Lean into contentment. In essence… lean into life. Once you give yourself permission to feel these things you can begin the journey of acceptance.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Season - one of the four periods of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), for a time, especially a short time: a period of the year when something is best or available: Purpose - the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc. That we live in a world of changes, that the several events of time, and conditions of human life, are vastly different from one another, and yet occur promiscuously, and we are continually passing and repassing between them, as in the revolutions of every day and every year. In the wheel of nature what goes around comes around. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Breakthrough. It sounds good. It even sounds like something everyone should WANT IN THEIR LIVES.  To understand what breakthrough means and why it is an important WE MUST DEFINE WHAT IT IS! According to Webster’s Dictionary a breakthrough is defined as: 1warfare :  an offensive military assault that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line 2:  an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle  3a :  a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique King David 2 Samuel 5:19   19  Then David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand?” And the LORD said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.” He was positioned in a Valley.(AT TIMES WE ARE ALSO IN THAT PLACE)  the Valley of Rephaim. The Valley of Rephaim is where David obtained a signature victory over the Philistines; it was higher than Jerusalem which is why David asked, “Shall I go up against the Philistines?” WE MUST ALSO DO WHAT DAVID DID: -WE MUST GO UP - WE MUST MOVE -POSITION OUR SELVES INTO A POSITION TO OBTAIN THE BREAKTHROUGH!

1. Become more attuned to your inner self and expand your capacity to observe, but not react to it. 2. Develop an inner compassion for yourself. This means recognizing that, like all humans, you have flaws and weaknesses, make mistakes and suffer. We are not alone, even when we feel that we are. 3. Become a “witness to” and mourn your wounds. This requires the ability to identify and sit with the pain associated with your hurts-current and past. 4. Forgive yourself for feelings, thoughts, or actions of your “former selves." It is easy to beat yourself with hindsight about the insight that you lacked. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, that he that is in the world.

Do you ever feel this way? Like every painful situation that comes your way is your fault? But that isn’t how God works! Being “right” or “good” doesn’t mean you’ll avoid rejection, pain, or heartache. You cannot control everything. But you can rest in the knowledge that God knows you, loves you, and will take care of you.

Reach out to them today and express your sincere gratitude and thanks. Let God know that you finally get it that he has always been there and made his presence known through some special people. All the honor goes to him because he made it possible. Have and make thanksgiving reign out in your heart as you go about your day. I give thanks unto the lord for his goodness to me, I give thanks unto the lord for his goodness to me, for his mercy endureth forever, I give thanks, I give thanks, unto the lord.

It’s easy to be discouraged when expectations aren’t met or things don’t go the way we planned. Jeremiah 29 11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12: Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13: And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

St. Matthew 5:6 Bless are they which do hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Yes, God is in the filling business. In fact, the word "fill" means to be satisfied in the sense of being stuffed after a sumptuous meal. What are you cooking? Is it producing an aroma that leads to people wanting to come and find out what it is? Does it lead to people wanting to eat? Think about this: God will satisfy your deepest desires if you look to him for fulfillment.

Psalms 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. There is no place I can go or state of mind or emotion I can get to that I will not cry unto you, God. I will always cry unto you. I realize that I have access to you no matter where I am physically or mentally. Even when my heart is overwhelmed in which it appears that it will be consumed with my troubles as a drowning man that seem to be going down for the last time. I am asking you to come to my rescue and lead me to higher ground. Lead me to that rock, to that place in which my troubles can’t reach me.

Put courage in someone. I love that because I love putting courage into others. I love encouraging people so they can courageously pursue their goals and dreams. Life is too short to live small and scared. Be bold. Believe. Take action.

Denzel Washington talked about his experience with God and the Holy Spirit. However he concluded although it kept him grounded in spite of himself, he Accepted it, Experienced it, but was not ready to live it. This is a very interesting statement. We find ourselves accepting and believing in something that is true and good for us and we have experience that validates that. However we are not ready to fully commit to it because of other things that seem more important at various times in our life. In other words we want to put it off until we enjoy pleasures or do the things that may take us further from what is worth living for.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. The righteous, by faith and prayer, devotion towards God and dependence on him, run into it, as their city of refuge. God is our rock. That means you can trust him completely for his strength and protection. We may tremble on the rock but the rock will never tremble under us.

The keenest pain comes from remembering what you should do — a day too late to do it. There is nothing quite so sad as recalling what might have been. Unfulfilled potential has a way of drawing you back to the scene of the failure and whispering in your ear, “If only you had . . .” Psalms 81:13 - 16

St. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. That, no matter what trouble we may face in this world, by him overcoming the world, we shall have peace in him.

Time waits for no one. It is a true saying that life goes on with or without you. You can either sit on the sideline and watch or get in the game. We spend so much time being stagnant and before you know it years have gone by. We have already experienced the negative. Do something positive to jumpstart your future today.
