A podcast to help you pick your next cold one.
Okay, so this really is the LAST Ireland beer, we promise. Can you blame us though? We are incapable of going anywhere and NOT bringing a suitcase specifically for beer at this point. The world is just too big a place. This week our producer is in the hot-seat with Geo. Take a listen and say farewell to our Ireland tour with a classic the world over AND one of the oldest breweries still operating in Ireland, Smithwicks. But not just any Smithwicks, we're enjoying their blonde and it is delicious.
Jevard is back from his long hiatus from podcasting and we're enjoying the last craft brew from Ireland. Introducing Thumper – a double IPA from Kinnegar Brewing out of Donegal, Ireland.
In a special crossover event between Just A Sip and our friends over at KonKon's Cantina, Justin joins us at Deviant Wolfe Brewing in Sanford, Florida. The guys enjoy a German Bock while talking Disney, pubs, and everything in between.
Sip Master Chris AKA "Darth Lord of the Sip" is back and this time he and Geo are sipping on the Bourbon Barrel Aged Gingerbread Stout from Hardywood. This beer, hailed as “freagin' Christmas in a bottle,” is an imperial milk stout brewed with vanilla beans, cinnamon, fresh Casselmonte Farm baby ginger and Bearer Farms wildflower honey.
Sip Master Chris is back in the house and we're taking in one last Kinnegar Brewing beer with him, this time a stout. A rich full-bodied stout originally brewed by the first participants of the Kinnegar Brewing Academy and a 2016 All Ireland Champion Beer.
Max from Carrabelle also dabbles in homebrewing while not rehearsing or working at a new brewery in Deland called HyderHead. Here are some tips and tricks to getting started with homebrewing.
Our Irish craft beer tour continues with a collaboration brew between Whiplash Brewing in Dublin and Wylam Brewing in Newcastle, UK. A DDH DIPA called Do You Wanna Touch Me. Fair warning, this one may have changed tastes on the plane ride back to the States.
What do the Irish brew when they're not Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks and... oh wait, they're all the same company. So here is a choice from the craft beer scene of Ireland: Merrytiller from Kinnegar Brewing out in Donegal, Ireland. It's a Farmhouse Saison. Slainte!
'Tis the season for some pumpkin, better get your fill before their gone. This week the guys start off with Dogfish Head Brewery's Punkin Ale and it's surprisingly good, even for pumpkin-everything-hating Ben.
The guys try an interesting one from a new brewery, a Jalapeno IPA from Boojum Brewing out of North Carolina.

This week Geo and Ben succumbed to the laser eyes of Elysian Brewing Co's Dayglow, an IPA that'll entrance you with its flavors and keep the party going at 7.4% - and no, it's not a DIPA, it's just that good.
We're back! Join Ben & Geo as they recount the last couple of months while enjoying Ben's new favorite name for a beer: Vienna Lager – because it comes from a marketing department as lazy as he is. Enjoy and we're glad to be back with you.

Ep 034 - Alaksan Brewing Co - White by
Well our break from Ben is over. He's back from slacking and brings us a real winner of a beer. We try to stay positive with all of our beers, but our honesty wins over. For coming from such a great brewery, this beer just didn't hit the mark. "They dropped the ball," according to Geo who is generally a fan of New Belgium, especially since they have Snapshot and Fat Tire, both are consistently crowdpleasers. DayBlazer is a 4.8% "easygoing ale."
Yes, we know it's not Tuesday, but we have a special this week: Meet Geo's Friend Jason. They talk a Li'l Sumpin' Sumpin', girls, beer and "maturity" – because that's what mature guys talk about. Enjoy learning about our newest Squad Contributor.
This month's Tap Talk Tuesday features our good friends @Carrabelle (check them out on Facebook, Instagram & SoundCloud) and their good beers. Geo sits back and talks music & beer with the guys as they explain their musical journey that led them to where they are now.
Now the story of one man, surrounded by his best friends, desperate to find the best beer. This week Ben & Geo give us their best Bluth chicken immitations while also bringing one of our favorite breweries back: Ommegang. This time they're sipping on Abbey Ale Dubbel – an 8.2% Belgian Dubbel with every note you'd expect from an abbey ale and then some you'd only find in your wildest brew dreams.
Ep 029 - Alchemist Brewery - Heady Topper by
Ep 028 - Daytona Beach Brewing - Measured Mile by
This week's episode features Geo & his friend Jon on an interview with Alan Fawcett of Daytona Beach Brewing during their 3 Year Anniversary Party. Alan was kind enough to have us in just before the festivities to sample the 5 special release beers he brewed just for the occasion: 7117: A Barrel Aged Abbey Ale Dark Summer: A Raspberry Chocolate Baltic Porter Snockered: A Barleywine CLB: A Cherry Lime Braggot Measured Mile: A New England Style DIPA The guys talk to Alan about how he got into brewing, his inspiration for the beers he creates, and what his personal preferences on beer are.
This month Geo & Ben are getting stoked for their annual trip up to Alaska and enjoying some ice cold brews dreaming of the ice cold waters. Give it a listen while Ben digs himself into ever deeper holes with his producer and Geo waxes poetic about beer & fish. Enjoy, Sippers!
This week Geo & Ben are kicking back on the sweeter side with Strawberry Jam from Ormond Beach Brewing, a 5.2% strawberry wheat ale that is packed full of local Florida strawberries. It has a nice crisp, bright taste and smooth finish that is definitely worth the try even for the biggest doubters of fruity beers. Also, Ben tries to get high off his microphone and eat the foam because that's Ben.
This time we're going local, Florida local. Geo & Ben are spotlighting a new-to-our-podcast brewery, but an old favorite of ours for the last few years – Red Cypress Brewery. Pull up a seat as they enjoy The Devil's Chair from Red Cypress, a 6% IPA that "packs a sinister punch" as the can says, much like the detail-oriented producer of this show that has to keep Geo and his ignorant second mic in check.
"Pie Iesu Domine. Dona Eis Requiem." Continuing on their geek streak, Geo & Ben are drinking Holy Grail Ale from Black Sheep Brewery, a golden ale that is the beer of choice for writers of such cult classics as Monty Python and the Holy Grail. If you've never seen the movie, then you'd probably be confused by the intro of this episode, but there's an easy way to fix it – watch the movie, it goes perfectly with beer and elderberries.
Our original guest Kevin is back again and this time he's brought us to Dunedin Brewery over near Tampa, Florida. Will in between band sets we get to try their DIPA called Diadem. Give it a listen.
