I've listened to podcasts since they first hit the scene in the mid-2000's. They've always felt like the next iteration of talk radio… but something that's much better at the same time. You can listen to whatever interests you, and there's almost always several quality podcasts around any topic. I've spent thousands of hours as a podcast listener, but never really consider being a podcaster myself. I decided to give this podcast a go a couple of years ago when I was on a school field trip with my daughter. I had a couple of hours on a tour bus to kill, so I came up with a list of 100 or so marketing topics that I could talk about for 5-10 minutes at a time. So that's how this show as born. Now, I'm 50 episodes in and have learned quite a lot! The episodes have gotten better over time, the editing and producing have definitely gotten better. Overall, I feel like I'm able to provide much more value now than I was at the beginning. And at the same time, I feel like I'm just getting started with this.
