Everyone loves Cyber Week numbers. Big charts. Big screenshots. Big claims. But Cyber Week data lies….When demand is compressed into five days, behavior gets distorted. And if you build your next 90-day strategy on distorted data, you scale the wrong lesson. In this Week in Review, Neil breaks down what the post–Cyber Week data actually reveals, why traffic and revenue spikes mislead sellers every December, and how real operators read the scoreboard differently heading into January and 2026.
Salesforce, the world's #1 AI CRM, has unveiled its 2025 Cyber Week results (November 25-December 1), analysing shopping data from over 1.5 billion shoppers. This was another record-breaking shopping week, with overall industry global sales increasing 7% year over year (YOY) to €286billion, with Black Friday sales in Ireland increasing 19%. These results signal a strong consumer appetite for buying this holiday season despite increasing global prices, and they demonstrate AI and agents as fundamental accelerators for purchase and productivity in commerce. AI and agents deliver outsized impact on Cyber Week sales and service AI and agents were pivotal elements in shoppers' path to purchase, driving €57 billion in sales by delivering personalised, high-converting shopping experiences. Across Cyber Week, AI and agents influenced 20% of all global orders via personalised product recommendations and conversational customer service. Pandora, Shark Ninja, and Funko and other retailers who utilised Salesforce's Agentforce 360 and their own branded agents saw sales grow 32% faster than those without. Beyond purchases, AI agents efficiently managed the influx of inquiries to emerge as customer service heroes. Agentic customer service conversations grew 55% week over week. Crucially, the volume of agent actions - including updating delivery addresses and initiating returns - surged by 70% compared with the previous week, offsetting administrative loads for service teams and lowering operational costs. Salesforce powers Cyber Week with trust, scale, and AI agents The foundation of Cyber Week's success for global retailers was the trust and unified power of Agentforce 360. Brands drove profitable growth and scaled their operations, supported by Salesforce's 100% uptime the entire week, including Agentforce Commerce, which powered 61 million orders on digital storefronts. The scale extended across channels as retailers managed 76% more orders on the Order Management System (OMS) platform while Agentforce Marketing delivered personalised outreach by sending 56.3 billion marketing messages. On Black Friday, historically the largest day of the year for in-store shopping, Salesforce's Retail Point ofSale (POS) saw 96% YOY growth in order volumes. 2025 Cyber Week Industry Insights Cyber Week sets a new global record: Consumers demonstrated strong activity, continuing to spend throughout the week and driving healthy sales growth numbers for retailers. Black Friday drove €67 billion in global sales (up 6% YOY), up 19% in Ireland. . Black Friday also accounted for 31% of all in-store sales during Cyber Week, making it the largest in-store shopping day of the week. Meanwhile, Cyber Monday drove €45 billion in global online sales, which was up 15% in Ireland. Mobile shopping becomes the digital default: Mobile devices drove 70% of online orders both globally, and mobile wallets continued to grow as a top form of payment, used for 27% of all global orders. Meanwhile, social media is becoming a critical entry point for shoppers, driving 15% of all global digital traffic to retailers' sitesConsumer spending stays strong: The average selling price (ASP) across Cyber Week increased 6% YOY. But in the end, consumers were undeterred by these price hikes - Cyber Week order volumes still grew by 2% globally and 1% in the U.S. compared with last year. This signals that shoppers saw this time frame as the best week of the year to make purchases regardless of price hikes. "Irish shoppers with their well known eye for value continue to embrace Black Friday and Cyber Monday as a key moment in their Christmas shopping plans. This year's growth highlights the power that agentic AI can bring, with significant increases in predictive recommendations and conversion across the week. It shows the scale of the opportunity for Irish businesses of every size to adopt these new capabilities and deliver faster, smarter, and more personal experiences that meet rising custom...
On Tuesday's show: As Houstonians prepare for the holidays, new data shows they're planning to cut spending by 11 percent compared to last year, with the average person expecting to spend around $1,600. Yet, despite this local pessimism, online sales during the five-day Cyber Week period hit $44.2 billion nationally, up nearly 8 percent from last year. We make sense of those seemingly contradictory trends. Also this hour: We get an update on the longstanding nationwide nursing shortage and find out how area universities are responding to a shortage of nursing educators as well. Then, we reflect on why former Astros star Ken Caminiti admitted he'd used steroids long before anyone else did and the demons that led to his untimely death, which are the subject of a book by journalist Dan Good, called Playing Through the Pain. And Houston native director Alex Stapleton talks with us about her new Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning. Shopify went dark on Cyber Monday. Amazon glitched and wiped deal badges across Black Friday and Cyber Week. Sellers relying on one platform got crushed. But diversified brands kept growing because TikTok, Shopify, Amazon, and email all picked up the slack.Factories across China and Vietnam are now slowing down early ahead of Lunar New Year, which means your Q2 inventory window is already shrinking. TikTok Shop continues its retail takeover, and AI is rewriting the rules for product discovery, listing visibility, and who gets recommended. In today's Week in Review, you'll hear what actually happened inside Shopify and Amazon during the meltdown, how operators protected their revenue, what you must do before January hits, and why 2026 will reward brands who diversify and think like CEOs, not dabblers.✅ Do not wait on inventory. China and Vietnam are already winding down for Lunar New Year. If you don't finalize orders soon, your production moves into April or May.✅ Shopify crashed and Amazon glitched deals. Operators with omnichannel setups absorbed the hit. Single-channel sellers got wrecked.✅ Maximize profits in December instead of scaling losers. Double down on your highest-converting SKUs, best reviews, and fastest shipping.✅ TikTok to Amazon is the new performance pipeline. UGC targeting Amazon searches drove major lifts last week.✅ AI is the new e-commerce gatekeeper. AI agents are scraping, rewriting, and interpreting your listings. Machine-friendly listings now determine visibility.

Był tam Nawrocki i wspierający go ówczesny prezydent Andrzej Duda.

The FigGuys - A Wrestling Action Figures & Collectibles Podcast
Moc. Loose. Collectors. Forever.Tom “Dramatico” Sanford returns! This week, Mike and Tom welcome back their longtime friend from Ringside Collectibles to break down a HUGE week in wrestling figure news, surprise drops, holiday chaos, and collector heartbreak.
Kia ora,Welcome to Wednesday's Economy Watch where we follow the economic events and trends that affect Aotearoa/New Zealand.I'm David Chaston and this is the international edition from Interest.co.nz.And today we lead with news the world is in a slowdown period as the globally large economies show signs of culminating. But we start today with some tough news. The overnight dairy auction saw prices fall to a two year low, the eight consecutive drop in these auctions. Apart from cheddar cheese which made an unexpected large recovery, everything else fell, especially butter which fell to a two year low in NZD and a three year low in USD. Overall, prices retreated +4.3% in USD and -5.4% in NZD. Falls this large have happened before since mid-July 2024. Analysts had already trimmed their current season payout forecasts, and today's event may have them thinking about revisiting them again. Certainly, the trend isn't positive. The OECD says global economic growth to ease to +2.9% in 2026 from +3.2% in 2025 as tariffs, weak trade and geopolitical uncertainty weigh on activity. In the US, growth is projected to slow to +2.0% in 2025 and +1.7% in 2026. For China, they see economic growth of +5% in 2025 and weaken to 4.4% in 2026 and 4.3% in 2027. Consumption will be dampened by high precautionary savings and the payback effect of the now winding down trade-in program. For New Zealand they said after contracting in 2024, the economy is projected to expand by +0.7% in 2025, +1.8% in 2026 and +2.8% in 2027. Growth will be supported by lower interest rates, improving household real incomes, buoyant tourism, and firm commodity export earnings. However, weak confidence, high energy costs, easing net immigration, and elevated uncertainty surrounding trade restrictions are expected to remain headwinds to the near-term recovery. Inflation is projected to remain within the central bank's target band, easing towards 2%. The unemployment rate is projected to decline from its peak in 2025.For Australia, they said economic growth is now strengthening and becoming more private-sector-driven. GDP growth is projected to quicken to +2.3% in 2026 and 2027, up from 1.8% in 2025. This is consistent with a gradual closing of the small negative output gap, keeping unemployment low while allowing inflation to remain close to target. Risks are balanced, with downside risks from a greater-than-expected softening of labour market conditions while, on the upside, strengthening disposable incomes could bring a faster acceleration of private consumption. The signals in the US were not as negative today. The RCM/TIPP economic optimism Index recovered in December from is sharp November dip. But to be fair, this only returns it to the below-average levels it reported from March to October. But that rebound was not seen in their logistics sector. The Logistics Manager's Index eased back to its slowest growth in the sector since June 2024. The slowdown is driven by a continued softening of inventory and warehousing metrics but tempered by some expansion in transportation. Warehousing utilisation contracted for the first time in the 9-year history of the index. However, by some accounts the US holiday retail activity was strong, especially for online trade. Shoppers there spent US$14 bln online on Cyber Monday, pushing total online sales over the Thanksgiving weekend to US$44 bln. Spending rose +7.7% during the so-called Cyber Week - the five days from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday - compared with an +8.2% increase to $41 bln last year and above its prior expectations of $43.7 bln.Across the Pacific, Japanese consumer confidence rose sharply in November from October to its best level since April 2024, with all components improving:In the EU, inflation is running in their sweet spot. Euro area consumer price inflation rose to +2.2% in November, up from 2.1% in October and slightly above market expectations of 2.1%. Services inflation accelerated to +3.5% however (from 3.4%) and its highest level since April, while energy prices declined at a slower pace.In Australia, and after a big September surge, October's residential building permit levels were expected to be tame by comparison. But in the event it was negative and the September rise was revised lower. And that meant the annual level of consents to October were lower than a year ago and its first year-on-year retreat since June 2024.The UST 10yr yield is now just under 4.10%, up +1 bp from this time yesterday. The price of gold will start today at US$4186/oz, and down -US$47 from yesterday. Silver has held up at US$58/oz.American oil prices are -50 USc softer at just under US$59/bbl, while the international Brent price is now at just over US$62.50/bbl. And we should note that natural gas prices dropped back yesterday after the prior day surge. The Kiwi dollar is down -10 bps from yesterday, still at just under 57.3 USc. Against the Aussie we are also down -10 bps at under 87.4 AUc. Against the euro we have held at 49.4 euro cents. That all means our TWI-5 starts today at just under 61.9, and little-changed from yesterday. The bitcoin price starts today at US$90,852 and recovering +6.4% from this time yesterday. Volatility over the past 24 hours has been high, at just on +/- 3.6%.You can get more news affecting the economy in New Zealand from interest.co.nz.Kia ora. I'm David Chaston. And we will do this again tomorrow.

“Consumers don't want blasts — they want a relevant, two-way conversation on the channel of their choice.” — Sophie Cheng, SVP Product Marketing, Sinch As retailers and marketers prepare for the 2025 holiday rush, Sophie Cheng, Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at Sinch, says the game has changed. Based on new Black Friday/Cyber Monday survey data from over 3,100 shoppers across ten countries, brands are being asked to do more than sell — they're being asked to converse. Early birds get the buyers Sinch's study shows shoppers want earlier outreach and faster follow-through. More than 37 percent of consumers expect promotions by October 28, while nearly one in five (18.6 percent) want them even sooner. Only 19 percent plan to wait for Cyber Week itself. Once they buy, they want instant reassurance — 93 percent say transactional messages are critical, and 75.8 percent expect order confirmations within five minutes. “Retailers who wait until Thanksgiving week are already late,” Cheng explained. “Customers are planning, price-comparing, and expecting brands to meet them early and personally.” From omnichannel to optimal channel For years, marketers chased the buzzword omnichannel — blanketing every available medium with the same message. Cheng says 2025 is the year of the “optimal channel” instead. “We need to stop blasting,” she said. “Customers want something relevant on the channel of their choice — and they want to be able to talk back.” Email still dominates (73.9 percent prefer it for updates), but 52 percent of consumers now mix channels such as SMS or WhatsApp. Nearly 47 percent say they'd engage with RCS, the new “rich communication service” messaging format that adds buttons, carousels, and payment links right inside native text apps — no downloads required. RCS, Cheng notes, is growing fast in North America and offers verified business profiles, giving shoppers a safer, app-like experience with clear branding and reduced fraud risk. AI meets the holiday shopper AI is also finding its place at the checkout. Nearly 48 percent of respondents believe AI will make holiday shopping easier, and just under half say they trust AI recommendations as much as or more than human ones. “Every customer expects to be treated as an individual,” Cheng said. “We're moving toward segment-of-one marketing — understanding not just demographics but conversation context and history.” That intelligence, she added, helps brands send messages that are personal, not intrusive — a critical distinction now that 72.7 percent still value personalization, but that figure is down roughly 7 points year over year as more shoppers report “creepy” targeting. Lessons for B2B and beyond While Sinch's data centers on retail, Cheng said the same principles apply to B2B, healthcare, and financial services communications. Even regulated sectors can embrace optimal channel thinking — connecting CRM, marketing automation, and conversational AI to provide responsive, compliant outreach without overwhelming audiences. “The key is relevance, consent, and timing,” she said. “Whether you're selling shoes or software, customers want the same thing: a fast, trusted, two-way experience.” What Sinch does Sinch provides the cloud communications infrastructure that enables businesses to deliver secure, scalable, and personalized messaging across email, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and voice. The company integrates with CRM and MarTech platforms so enterprises can design intelligent, compliant, and customer-centric journeys — from marketing to verification to support. From 23 locations across 12 states to an online platform that removes geography as a barrier, Morris lays out a plan to make Valhallan a destination where young gamers train, compete, and grow with purpose. We get practical about what parents really want to know: how to keep kids safe, how to make gaming productive, and how to navigate a space that now includes scholarships and academic tracks. Morris connects specific games to real skills—Rainbow Six Siege to cybersecurity, Minecraft to engineering and systems thinking—and explains how monitored communities, age tiers, and coaching turn screen time into skill time. We also explore how colleges like Boise State and Syracuse are investing, why UNLV's Cyber Week matters, and how scholarships are expanding fast.Las Vegas emerges as the perfect hub: HyperX Arena, global access, and a city that embraces innovation. Morris shares why Valhallan is moving to a corporate‑led model for consistency and quality, how online demand will guide future arena placements, and why this youth‑first focus can capture meaningful share in a $500B ecosystem. He closes with candid, hard‑won advice for entrepreneurs about stretching beyond comfort zones and refusing to let fear set the limits. If you care about kids, education, esports, or building a brand with real community impact, this conversation will stick.Enjoy the episode? Julie Walsh, Account Manager and Marketing Strategist from the Workstand Marketing Agency Team, joins the podcast to talk about successful strategies for sales success during the 2025 holiday season. Julie has also published a new blog post with even more details and additional resources to help you grow sales in a challenging and competitive market. The high-level tips are:1. Look through the eyes of your customersIf your homepage feels a little out of season, revamp your website for the holidays with a homepage takeover. 2. Make shopping easyShoppers prioritize convenience when purchasing online. Simplify things by bundling content and scheduling it through the end of the year with pre-built content like Cyber Week, Holiday Sale, and Last-Minute Gifts. 3. Win local search campaignsCorner your local cycling market with Google Ads. Shoppers often look to Google first for desirable products—get your inventory at the top of search results so it's always top of mind. 4. Stay top of mind on all channelsStaying connected with your customers is key to keeping them engaged through the holidays and into the new year. Don't forget the power of traditional mail, too. Sending a physical holiday postcard or flyer to your customer list adds a personal, memorable touch that stands out in a digital-heavy season. 5. "Set and forget” customer communicationWhen you don't have time to plan out email campaigns, you can still keep in touch with customers by sending out automated emails after they've made a purchase with Workstand IQ Loyalty.6. Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the Left celebrates the murder of a healthcare CEO. But why, exactly, are they celebrating? Many people are missing the point on this story; I'll tell you what's really going on. Plus, the father of Jordan Neely tries to cash in on his son's death by suing Daniel Penny—but Daniel Penny should be the one suing Jordan Neely's father. And, the Left comes up with its most desperate smear against Pete Hegseth yet. Today on the Matt Walsh Show, I was outside the Supreme Court yesterday as they heard arguments in a case stemming from the law in Tennessee banning child castration. The whole scene—what happened outside the Court, and inside—shows that the gender ideologues are losing. We'll talk about it. Also, the women's golf league finally bans males from competing, but why did it take this long? And, the prosecutor in the Daniel Penny case went easy on a guy who murdered an elderly man at an ATM because she felt sorry for the emotional trauma he'd suffered in the past. So why doesn't she feel sorry for Daniel Penny? Click here to join the member-exclusive portion of my show: https://bit.ly/4bEQDy6 Ep.1499 - - - DailyWire+: Our largest sale of the year is live NOW! Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the UK legalizes so-called "assisted dying." The bill supposedly allows for euthanasia only under limited and tightly controlled circumstances. But, if we've learned anything from every other country that's legalized this form of state-sanctioned murder, it never stays limited or controlled for very long. Also, the media tries to grapple with the Hunter Biden pardon, to hilarious effect. In the year of our Lord 2024—almost 2025—Taylor Lorenz lashes out at people who don't wear masks. And in our Daily Cancelation, we'll see what the feminist ecosexuals in academia are up to. Nothing normal, we can assume.
