We continue our study of the Gospel of John. This morning we see that Jesus is in the garden and the authorities have come to arrest him. John's Gospel illustrates how Jesus is not a victim and that he is in control. We see opposition from Jewish leaders, Judas and the Roman military (representing the world). Outwardly, they seem to win, but Jesus remains sovereign. He is in control and he intervenes to save his disciples in the same way that his death intervened and gave us our salvation Join our family morning service every Sunday at 11am. New Life Haydock Phythian Street Haydock WA11 0AH
We continue our study of the Gospel of John. In this passage we see Jesus praying for strength as he goes to the cross and praying for future believers. There was of course a price to this prayer - Jesus' personal sacrifice. Is powerful Join our family morning service every Sunday at 11am. New Life Haydock Phythian Street Haydock WA11 0AH
We continue our study of the Gospel of John. In this passage we see that Jesus was in the world: He expected opposition. He was not isolated. He had a divine mission (to testify the truth and seek and save the lost).
