Omonye’s Corner is a corner of joy, a pocket of blessings and a cove of knowledge. This podcast will aim to provide resources to get by in a world that often doesn’t equip us well enough. We will discuss the biggest issues affecting our world with a special focus on being Black and British. We will discuss financial responsibility, religion, business building, generational wealth, academia and so much more.     This week's episode of Omonye's Corner is the second of the degree workshops! I spoke to my good friend Kristen about Film and Television Production. In this episode, we explored Kristen's journey to her chosen degree, how it's going so far, key advice on entering the creative industry, and just general boss energy! It's about who you know, not what you know.( it's who you know that gets you in the door, and what you know that keeps you there). 3. Get a degree. 4. Don't limit yourself. 5. Try as many possible routes as you like. 6. Being a runner, is one of the best things – I know it can be tedious but it's the best way to learn what everyone does on set. 7.
