Yes, you need strategy to build a successful business. But all the best strategy in the world doesn't mean jack if you've got some stuff rumbling beneath the surface. Stuff that you hope nobody finds out about. Stuff that you're not willing to address. Keep avoiding the inner work and ignoring your pain, and it will come in like a tsunami and take you (and your business) out.Beyond being my best friend, Tiffany Carter is the Top Business Strategist and Digital Marketing Expert behind ProjectME with Tiffany, a coaching practice and podcast designed to help women become financially free and manifest the life they've always wanted. In Part 1 of this special series (which aired on Project Me—The Podcast EP324), Tiffany and I talked about what's blocking you from the money, relationships and freedom you desire. On this episode of The Leadership Formula, Tiffany joins me for Part 2 to explain what to do about it.We weigh in on why you have to go all-in on both strategy AND personal development work to build a sustainable, thriving business, sitting in your uncomfortable feelings and showing up in integrity—even when it's hard.We describe how to stop worrying about what people might think and get into your zero f*cks zone, uncovering who you're truly meant to serve rather than who you think might hire you.Listen in for insight on setting up accountability based on what motivates YOU to take action and find out if our 6-week Let's Get Down to Business coaching program is right for you! What You Will Learn Why you have to sit in the dirty diaper to get the things you say you wantHow we lean on strategy to try and outrun the inner work we need to doHow Tiffany sets up customized accountability based on what motivates YOU to take actionWhat gets Tiffany and I to show up when we don't want toHow to uncover who you're truly meant to serve vs. who you think will hire youWhy you have to go all-in on strategy AND personal development work to build a sustainable, thriving businessHow to stop worrying about what people might think and get into the zero f*cks zoneThe work I do to help people re-break their hearts so they can heal properlyWhat we tell ourselves to justify not showing up in integrityThe unhealthy coping mechanisms Tiffany and I use to avoid our feelingsHow strategy doesn't help if you're willing to break boundaries for a hit of enough-nessWho our 6-week Let's Get Down to Business coaching program is forConnect with TiffanyProject Me with Tiffany: https://projectmewithtiffany.com/Project Me—The Podcast: https://projectmewithtiffany.com/podcast/Tiffany on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/projectme_with_tiffany/Connect with Tracytracyomalley.comwww.instagram.com/tracy_omalleywww.facebook.com/tracy.omalleytwitter.com/TracyOMallwww.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/ResourcesGet all the details on my NEW GROUP COACHING PROGRAM, Let's Get Down to Business: https://projectmewithtiffany.com/getdown[Special Series Part 1] What Is Really Blocking You from Having the Money, Relationships and Freedom You Desire—with Tracy O'Malley, Top Performance Coach and Enneagram Expert on Project Me EP324: https://projectmewithtiffany.com/podcast/special-series-part-1-what-is-really-blocking-you-from-having-the-money-relationships-and-freedom-you-desire-with-guest-tracy-omalley-top-performance-coach-and-enneagram-expert-ep324/

Let's Get Down To Business (and defeat the HUNS!) by Shaun Doyle
This episode is about money. Why we don't have enough of it, how we are enslaved by it, and how Power seems to be just out of reach due to it. Our latest release “Money Ho” (video here) is shining a giant light on the injustices women face around money. From equal pay to the pink tax, we are fed up with working the hardest and having the least. Our guest this week is Carol Jenkins CEO and president of the ERA Coalition. Until women are equal under the constitution, we don’t stand a chance at having equal pay. Sound the alarm, this is a wake-up call ladies, it’s time to demand equality and finally pass the ERA. We believe every month is Women's History Month here at Women of Tomorrow. Women we see you, we feel you and we honor you! Let's get down to some house and dance music. This set features 19 tracks from such artists as Hiva, Block & Crown, Chocolate Puma, Gettoblaster, Bitch Be Cool, and more. I hope you enjoy it. Mahalo for listening.
In an era of instant gratification, I seek to be understood. Get out of your comfort zones folks. Aside from desires and what you LOVE, I don't care about how things have (always) happened. You're somewhere NEW now! Doesn't matter who initiates euphoria. It's enjoyed by all right? Suggestions are mistaken for "Calls To Action" and Vice Versa. I dislike having to ask or have Expectations. I'll leave the (personal) Expectations & double down on the needs, wants and desires. Feels better. I would love for you all to experience that as well, on a daily basis. Let's go! Ask! You'll receive. I know it. I believe I will receive if I ask, as well. I need things. I want things. All (desires) you've ever had, throw them out the window. Mix it up! If you've always been approached, APPROACH someone else. If you've always had one thing, demand something else. Don't get content and complacent. Take ACTION! It'll happen in ways you didn't know it could. I believe in it and YOU. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/titaniumscalesproductions/support

So you get that project that needs to connect to a server that doesn't talk rest, or http(s), but has its own protocol (or maybe it DOES talk https but you are looking for incredible performance!). Well, look no further than Netty! Sure, sure, you could really spend time working with NIO.2 and creating your own sockets and all that jazz, but why? The Netty.io folks already did it, and by golly they created a library that's "blazingly fast". So take a dive into this episode where we talk about the main netty concepts (like pipelines and handlers), and give you a tip or two as you embark down into protocol performance bliss. Netty has seen it all, and has been battle tested for a while now (Have you heard of Jetty? well, that has Netty under the hood), and best of all, we go over how to be "lazy" about it! Netty really implemented a lot of protocols, events, and stuff already (for example LengthFieldBasedFrameDecoder, ProtobufVarInt32FrameDecoder, SslHandler, WebSocket00FrameDecoder and much more!), so you don't have to be the wiser and implement things from scratch... chances are... Netty already has them (or at least will have the right tools to create your own thing). FOLLOW US JavaPubHouse on twitter! Where we will be sharing new tech news, and tutorials! THERE'S MORE! We also have an interview with Ming Chen of AMC's Comic-Book Men! We're talking today about the world of podcasts, our favorite podcasts, how we learned about our bodies, pole position, and how we got started listening to AND making our own! Cheers! Here we go! The season is about to begin, and the boys are ready! They kickoff with news regarding the Seattle expansion, before giving their opinions on the new Habs' captain. After some injury news, they dive deep into what is going on with the Leafs. Then, the guys go head-on with the Tom Wilson hit (and suspension), before making some bold predictions about the upcoming season. Music: "Seek Advice Elsewhere" by Off With Their Heads
Lauren, Tyler, and Quinn discuss the premiere episode of Survivor: David vs Goliath. Listen as the gang fights through distractions and side conversations to kind of talk about the episode. Enjoy 10 minutes of cold opens!
Wouldn't it be great to wake up everyday and work at your passion? To put your time and energy into something that matters to you, something that you truly find fulfilling. Maybe you've got characters to share and a story to tell in that future comic book series you've been thinking of creating. Imagine how surreal it would feel knowing that your fans have posters, collector cards, and T-Shirts of the titles you came up with. It can happen. But only if you get down to business. Because if you're creating art for more than just the love of it, that's exactly what you are - a business owner, your art, the product. It's more than just a matter of mastering your drawing skills. You might be the best of the best when it comes to skill and raw talent, but if no one ever gets to see what you can do, they won't be able to pay you for it. In this special, extended episode of the HTDC Podcast, I'm joined by Co-Host Ric Bulow and special guest artists Ed Foychuk and Deth Phimmasone to talk about the business side of being an artist. This episode we'll share our ideas and experiences for earning money from your craft, revealing the tactics used to promote and sell our own products. In a techno-savvy world full of opportunity, that encourages creative entrepreneurs to pursue their endeavors - it's now more possible than ever to make a considerable amount of income from your art. Episode 123 was a long time coming, but thanks to the summer drought of news and information, as well as impossibly busy schedules, the wait for this episode was much longer than anticipated. Never fear, however, because we're back, and possibly better than before! After the normal banter that starts every show, we get down to business. First, we talk about - shockingly - Disney Infinity, and more of what could have been. Then we laugh about the unpredictable Skylanders marketing team. We then break down the upcoming release of Wave 9 for LEGO Dimensions, and what that means for the franchise. And finally, we talk about the news regarding amiibo, including the newly announce Shovel Knight amiibo! In the back half of the episode, we read through all the tweets for the #CommunityQuestion, and pick a winner for the #ResponseOfTheWeek giveaway. Finally, we wrap up with emails from the great folks in the community, doing our best to answer all questions thrown our way! All this and more on Episode 123 of the Toys For Games ‘Cast! HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO THE OFFICE TALK PODCAST! This podcast has been a passion project for me and I'm beyond thrilled that we've made it a full year together. I've got some exciting things planned for the podcast in the next year that I think you’re going to love. In this new episode, I thought it would be fun to take a look back on some of the lessons I’ve learned this past year about myself and my business. Some were inspired by conversations I’ve had with guests on this show, and others I’ve learned along the way. In fact this season, I’m going to be sharing more of these insights on the podcast. Good evening Ladies and Gents! It is hard to believe it has been SIX YEARS since we stopped doing these little nuggets of goodness...For this next first time out of the gate I am including some tasty treats from the start of spring tour 1999.The band is feeling firey right of the gate in Philly - in particular, listen for JBs vocal embellishments during the second chorus of Let's Get Down to Business. The quintessential Pleas > Chilly from Salem features a lazy jammy intro to Pleas that was indicative of how the band would get things going in Spring '99.Get excited about 1999, because I am going to be featuring a few more tracks from this under-appreciated Spring Tour in future weeks!I finish everything off with a couple of selections from the Stockholm Syndrome tour of 2004 at the Gothic in Denver Colorado. Stockholm Syndrome is a side project of David Schools featuring Jerry Joseph on guitar and vocals, Eric McFadden on lead guitar, Wally Ingram on drums and Danny Dziuk on keys. Their version of North is driving and includes a ZZ Top tease while their funky version of Coudn't Get it Right features a Down on the Farm tease. And finally, please tell your friends and neighbors we are back. Believe it or not these 'casts take a good bit of time to produce and it would be a waste if people weren't sharing this wonderful music. And finally a BIG THANK YOU to all of the tapers and fans who make these recordings and this wonderful project called the Everyday Companion possible.Peace, TedApril 10, 1999Electric FactoryPhiladelphia, PA(set one opener)Let's Get Down to Business,Pigeons,B of D >Rebirtha >Red Hot Mama >Diner >Greta >Goin' Out WestApril 9, 1999Salem, VA(set 2 opener)Pleas >Chilly Water >Dyin' Man >Chilly WaterStockholm SyndromeAugust 6, 2004Gothic TheaterEnglewood, CONorth >Couldn't Get it RightSource Info:4/10/99Source: Schoeps MK4 > Reutelhuber > DA-P1 @ 48 kHzLocation: FOB / DFC / ORTF / 6ftTaped by Jim Finn. PanicStream user Col. Braddock asked for a request that I will not be playing, at least not this week. It occurred to me that his suggestion would make much better fodder for a future themed cast.... but there were some songs from the same show featuring the same guest that would be worth a listen. As I revisited the famous Jorma performance from 2000 I also ran across a relatively recent download of Vic Chesnutt and became inspired. Guests and covers of songs by friends. So away I went, finding a killer FM broadcast that I was not acquainted with featuring some priceless interview tom-foolery by the band. Delving into shows from 1994 I was reminded of one of my favorite Chilly Water performances featuring a 15 year old Derek Trucks on guitar.A very pleasant surprise awaited me when the Everyday Companion pointed me to a benefit show featuring Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Randall Bramblett and Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Synyrd. The interplay between Houser and Bramblett during Porch Song is nothing short of brilliant.Anyhow, I am rambling - ENJOY - this is one of those 'casts that features something for everybody so turn it up loud. And remember; "I'm John Herman, and I play keyboards."Vic ChesnuttFebruary 16, 1997Muffathalle, Munich, GermanyBlight(authored by David Schools/Michael Houser/Todd Nance/Vic Chesnutt in a little band named brute.)April 8, 1995102.7 WNEW New York, NYInterview ("I'm John Herman")Can't Get High (Bloodkin cover)Ain't Life GrandLet's Get Down to Business (Vic Chesnutt cover)July 4, 2000WarfieldSan Francisco, CAwith Jorma KoukonenBowlegged WomanGenesisOctober 11, 1998Nashville ArenaNashville, TNPorch Song > (with Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Randall Bramblett)Drums(with Artimus Pyle from Lynyrd Synyrd and Jeff Reilly from Randall Bramblett Band)July 21, 1994Stop Go >Entering a Blackhole Backwards >Chilly Water** 15 year old Derek Trucks on Guitar(with 'Thank You Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin' jam)DOWNLOAD the cast here (right click to save to hard drive):Everyday Companion Podcast #57Click here to subscribe through iTunes.
