We sit down this week in what can only be described as a information overload on gear and expenses for an eastern hunter to take a trip out west. There are many ways to break this down but we just hit the high notes as far as pack system, sleep system, food and cooking, travel, clothing and gear as well as other miscellaneous items that may be overlooked. The biggest part of this episode that we wanted to make sure we covered is the fact that anyone who is a whitetail hunter can take their same gear and use it on a Western Big Game Hunt. You don't have to sink 5,000-10,000 dollars in a hunt to make it happen. Hey we get it, its intimidating to think about but in all reality its just like planning an out of town deer hunt across the state or a week long trip to your deer camp, only a tad further to drive. Hope you enjoy and take something from this one.
