Mitch shares two different hunting experiences from the past and draws his learning points from them.  While there are no concrete rules in hunting strategy and the words "always" or "never" don't come into play, Mitch's "style" of turkey hunting was molded by his own learning experiences.  He shares his style in slowing down, listening, planning moves accordingly, calling softly, and being patient to hunt a gobbler later in the morning or even on another day of season.  Lastly, he chats about a few other overlooked benefits of hunting slowly, ones you don't want to miss! Because the neck tends to reveal your age more clearly—and age faster—than your face, it is a key area to address when talking about facial aging. Some people catch the early signs, like skin texture changes, and horizontal lines across the neck. For these concerns, skin treatments, like chemical peels, energy treatments for skin and dermal stimulating filler treatments can help.  For minimal sagging or excess fat is approached with liposuction, or muscle tightening through small incisions. As skin laxity worsens, energy-based lifting treatments come into play. The Story of a Bonafide Swamp Gobbler This week Cameron and Andy share one of Andy's hunts from the 2024 spring turkey season to help deal with the fact that spring turkey season is still over 6 months away for most of the US. In this hunt, Andy encounters high water and gobbling turkeys on a piece of property that he had never set foot on before.
