Stepped on a Rattler, Found a Body?! Terry Drury's Turkey Season Tips | 100% Wild Podcast Ep. 423 In this episode of the 100% Wild Podcast, Matt, Tim, and special guest Terry Drury break down what really matters when chasing spring gobblers. From how early-season calling can make or break a hunt to why Mark Drury consistently pulls in birds others can't, this episode is packed with insights every turkey hunter needs to hear. Terry explains how changing foliage affects calling and visibility, why late-season gobblers go hush-mouth, and what you can do to adapt. The guys also dive into how predator trapping, habitat burns, and strategic management have helped rebuild turkey numbers in recent years. And it wouldn't be a Drury podcast without some unbelievable stories—like stepping on a rattlesnake in Texas, a copperhead bite in the spring woods, and even finding a hunter who passed away in the field. Topics include: Early vs. late-season calling strategy How Mark Drury's calling separates him from the rest The impact of spring green-up on gobbling Turkey population trends and what's helping Wild encounters in the woods that you won't forget Whether you're hunting gobblers or just love a good story, this one delivers. #TurkeyHunting #100PercentWild #DruryOutdoors #DeerCast #TerryDrury #SpringTurkey #WildlifeManagement #PredatorTrapping Join the Rack Pack Facebook Group : https://www.facebook.com/share/g/n73gskJT7BfB2Ngc/ Get ahead of your Game with DeerCast available on iOS and Android devices App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/deercast/id1425879996 Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.druryoutdoors.deercast.app Don't forget to stock up for your next hunt! 1st Phorm has you covered! On this episode of Michigan Wild, Nate and Robert McIntyre dive into a conversation recapping Robert's whitetail season and his first couple days of Turkey season. Robert finished his past fall punching his 3rd and final tag on an out of state buck with his bow. That marked 3 straight years tagging a late season buck with his bow. The season was a grind, but going back to his roots was key to his success. Like chasing whitetails, turkey hunting is another passion for Robert and this season was no different. He had a wild opening day filled with birds and drama. That did not deter him and that persistence was awarded the following morning when he unexpectedly doubled up.  Wrapping up the episode some turkey gear is discussed. The guys talk about the gear used and some recommendations for the newer hunter. Both guys agree that you can get into turkey hunting on an affordable budget and can have a fun successful hunt with limited equipment.  Thank you for listening to the episode!
