Check out Fran Duffy's 2026 Diehard Draft Guide! https://alldlls.com/draftguide26/ The Texas Rangers had a very good weekend, erasing their Opening Day loss on March 26 to win back-to-back games March 28 and March 29 to win the season-opening series at Philadelphia. Pitching was the focus, as Jacob deGrom was scratched from his first start of 2026. Jacob Latz stepped in an tossed four scoreless innings as the Rangers took a 3-0 lead into the ninth. Robert Garcia and Chris Martin couldn't close out the game, in part because of Jake Burger error, but the Rangers prevailed 5-4 in 10 innings. MacKenzie Gore made his Rangers debut in the finale and was terrific. He didn't allow a hit until the sixth inning and exited after allowing two runs. The Rangers' star on offense was Andrew McCutchen, though Burger, Corey Seager and Brandon Nimmo all homered in the series. #baseball #texas #rangers #coreyseager #andrewmccutchen #brandonnimmo An ALLCITY Network Production SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/@DLLS_Sports ALL THINGS DLLS: WEBSITE: https://store.allcitynetwork.com/collections/dlls-locker BUY MERCH: http://DLLSLocker.com FOLLOW ON SOCIAL: Twitter: @DLLS_Sports Instagram: @DLLS_Sports Become a DLLS Diehard and get access to premium content, our Discord channel, discounts on merch, and a free shirt! The Prelude to the English Civil War: Colleague Jonathan Healey discusses the prelude to the English Civil War, detailing the power struggles between Charles I and the Commons and Lords, explaining the execution of the King's advisor Strafford, noting Charles's regret and the rising influence of reformists who feared royal tyranny and supported impeachment. In this episode, Zach Shaw and Steve Lorenz break down the Michigan football team's 34-17 win over New Mexico to open its 2025 season. They open with a look at the Wolverines' offense. They break down what they saw from Bryce Underwood in his collegiate debut, what it could mean for the rest of the season, as well as the significance of some key returning pass-catchers and offensive linemen stepping up. They also discuss Justice Haynes' star-caliber Michigan debut at running back, and why that could arguably be a bigger deal than Underwood's debut. In the second half of the episode, they look at some key takeaways from the defensive side of the ball. They discuss why the box score might not be as pretty as expected, but why that may not matter much moving forward. They look at New Mexico's success on screen plays and in play-action, but also Michigan's palpable speed and depth on defense. They also discuss the Wolverines' special teams blunders, Jaishawn Barham's suspension, penalties and other observations from the season-opening win.
