The Champions League has returned this week but instead we talk about Championship title hopefuls Norwich.    We dig into their current reign and where they feel like they are best suited.    Elsewhere we discuss the abuse women pundits receive, why it is still so hard for gay players to come out in the men's game.    And we speculate as to where David Alaba could end up after announcing he will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

This week on the show we discuss two strikers from very different backgrounds.  Should Patrick Bamford be given a chance in the England set up? Did you miss us last week?    Well we are back to talk about the headlines of the past months transfers. HAPPY 2021 and welcome back to Punks on the Pitch. Hope you haven't missed us too much.  This week we dig into the highs of the FA Cup third round and who the big winners were.  We also touch on the fantastic Fran Kirby's performance for Chelsea Women in the only WSL game of the weekend.  Elsewhere Schalke final broke their long losing streak and did it in thanks to an American. Which leaves us asking what is in the water in Germany 

For one last time in 2020 we bring you an episode of Punks on the Pitch.    This week we discuss the current misfortunes of Arsenal under the Arteta reign. One this week's show we talk about one of the most bizarre footballing stories of 2020 in the Hollywood takeover at Wrexham AFC. With the men's game having an international break, we thought it only right that we take a more in-depth look at the women's game.    We talk about how there needs to be less of a divide within teams themselves, from separate social media accounts and playing at different grounds, to the recent news that women's academy sides are being treated as "non-elite" We also highlight five players who we think embody being punk in the women's game.    DISCALIMER - The audio on my side (Tim) for some reason is a little jumpy (I have no idea why) but it doesn't hinder the episode.  

On this Monday's so we have some what of an FA Cup first round special.    We dive into the craziness that was the Torquay United v Crawley Town match. We are celebrating the first three points for the Punks On The Pitch team as Wycombe Wanders record their first ever win in the Championship.  There is great excitement in the Women's FA Cup final where despite the lose Willie Kirk's side showed great grit and determination.  Are Barcelona on the verge of imploding on themselves with their worst start to the season in years, and we look at the exciting end to the Serie A fixture between Tornio and Lazio
