On today's podcast we have Mark Warburton. We explore how Mark went from getting up at 4:32 for 20-odd years, to be at his trading desk for 5:45, then dealing $1.5-2B a day in foreign exchange deals, getting home at 7pm and taking calls through the night from New York, to winning championships at Brentford and Rangers - two phenomenal football clubs. Mark's story is as inspiring as it is unconventional. A former elite trader, he transitioned to coaching and quickly made his mark where he was the dominant catalyst in Brentford's ascent to the pinnacle of English football. Most significantly to me, the mighty Glasgow Rangers. Under his leadership, Rangers returned to the pinnacle of Scotland's topflight. As a coach, mentor, and leader, Mark has a proven ability to build winning teams both on and off the pitch, and take it from me - he is an exceptional human being. I believe his best is yet to come. In this episode we talk about what excellence in leadership, and coaching teams looks like in both trading and football, we discuss the challenges that come with senior leadership, and how serious you need to take things if you truly want to perform at your best. I hope you enjoy. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Find Mark: https://x.com/markwarburton9 Find James: https://www.linkedin.com/in/acceleratingexcellence/ https://www.instagram.com/jamesaking_/ https://jamesaking.com/ The Mindset App: While the app is under development, we have decided to provide access to the full content for free on YouTube for a limited time. This week's episode focusses on European nights: the teams, the players, the fights and the freezing cold nights away from home. The lads discuss why they loved playing in Europe and reflect on some of the players they lined up against including Zidane, Messi, Del Piero, Seedorf and R9: What was it like to have Messi running directly at you? Which midfielder would snarl, 'Don't touch me'? And which were their favourite places to play? They recall the infamous away match at Galatasaray, the trip to Russia that left one United player covered in bites from bed bugs and remember the disappointments against Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Jose Mourinho's Porto. There's also take a detour as they discuss the trip to Brazil in 2000 and how two players went on an unsanctioned hang-gliding trip over Rio. The gaffer was not pleased... Will the undefeated run continue? Nottingham Forest are back at The World Famous City Ground this weekend as we take on Fulham in the Premier League this Saturday afternoon. With Forest still undefeated this season, all eyes are on Nuno's men as they look to extend their unbeaten run and secure another positive result at the City Ground. Nottingham Forest come into this fixture off the back of a dramatic 2-2 draw against Brighton, a match that had it all – goals, a red card, and plenty of action. Despite going down to 10 men after Morgan Gibbs-White was sent off, Forest showed resilience to come away with a point. Unfortunately, Gibbs-White will now miss the Fulham game due to suspension, so who will replace the England international? Does Jota deserve to start this weekend? Another talking point from the Brighton game was the sending-off of manager Nuno Espírito Santo. However, there's good news for Forest fans: the club has appealed his red card, and as things stand, Nuno is set to be on the touchline this weekend – pending the appeal decision. On the injury front, there's a sigh of relief as Forest have no fresh concerns heading into this match. The squad looks strong, and with Gibbs-White the only major absentee, there's plenty of depth to shuffle the lineup and maintain the attacking threat. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don't forget to smash that LIKE button if you're excited for the game! #nffc #nottinghamforest #fulham ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

The podcast starts in sombre mood this month as after a brief intro about accessories, we remember our friend Craig Spivey, and celebrate the many and varied things that he brought to the world of Star Wars collecting. We're talking Star Wars tourism this month, as the two Andy's look back on their recent holiday to Hoth, Rich looks forward to touring Tatooine, and our special interview guest Matt Booker talks about the many Star Wars locations that you can visit in Britain, and beyond. Matt also brings us up to date on childhood collecting, his Boba Fettish, his shop, and much more. In the intro section the lads talk about their own finds from the Star Wars galaxy, and some wonderful new acquisitions from Russia, Greece, Australia and the USA. Spoons gets quizzical, and Action Vehicle Face-Off comes up with a surprising victor. Rebel Briefings finds us eager for Echo Live, forcing Fawcett on first shots, early birds and seven packs, and more. Licensee this month is Touchline as we answer that burning question of how many coins can fit in a money bag - or is it a purse, module or container? You'll Smile when you find out. Plenty of bluff and banter besides, you can find the podcast in all the usual places:
