Lonya feat SNYL – Ultimate Sin / Synthetic Dreams - Selador Early support from Cristoph, AFFKT, Gai Barone, Anthony Pappa, BOg, Kasey Taylor It's become a bit of a tradition down Selador way that our much-loved Showcase releases produce break out tracks that generate a right old buzz and get a stand-alone release. And lo, it's Lonya's turn to join that select company. ‘Ultimate Sin' first saw the light of day on the mixed version of our Showcase 20 release, premiered by a somewhat excited Dave Seaman & Anthony Pappa. Instantly turning heads and leading to oodles of “when can I get my hands on that beauty?” messages pinging their way to HQ, rather than release it on one of the subsequent unmixed EPs, we challenged Lonya to give us another track of equal stature to create a dynamite double header. Not only did he do just that, but he only went and roped in his pal SNYL. The resulting collab ‘Synthetic Dreams' is a propulsive, acid-peppered call to dancefloor action. The very definition of heads down, let's go business as a mesmeric vocal wail sits atop an hypnotic groove that just doesn't let go. Synthetic by name, but as real as electronic music gets in nature. And ‘Ultimate Sin'? All we can say is, if you're familiar with Dave and Anthony's mix, you know what's coming, and will be suitably bubbling over with anticipation. And if not…well folks, a sonic treat awaits. Just let the riff draw you in, pull you all over the shop, and take up residence in your twisted but oh so grateful cranium. Masterful. Support from Nick Warren, AFFKT, Anthony Pappa, Just Her, Audio Junkies, and of course form Dave Seaman and Steve Parry Jonathan Cowan is an OG of the scene Stateside, particularly in his native Florida, where he gave a certain Dave Seaman his first US residency back in 1998, and to this day remains a kingpin of that week in March when the dance music cognoscenti descend upon Miami. With these two transatlantic amigos and like-minded souls having been (ahem) brothers in rhythm for nigh on three decades now, it was only right & proper that some of JC's studio excursions would find their way to Selador. And so it was. The achingly beautiful ‘Alden's Groove' was first, debuting on our Sweet Sixteenth Showcase in 2022, and then followed by ‘Swaddles' which graced our Seventeenth Instalment in 2023. At the time we described it as “tip top electronic headfuckery”, and some two years on, we ain't changed our minds. So naturally we're pleased as proverbial punch to now unveil a brand-new double-header from JC. ‘Slater' is first up, as clever as it is insanely catchy. It wears several 90s influences proudly on its sleeve (think ‘French Kiss' meets Desert's seminal ‘Moods' and you're part way there), while wrapping everything up in a warm 2025 blanket of sound. Listen now, thank us slater ;) On the flipside, ‘Sawyer' kicks off with a pure 80s Chicago bassline riding that Windy City wave, before Moroder-esque wonktastic riffage joins the fray and takes hold of the dance floor. So high indeed. Tried and tested by both Messrs Seaman & Parry, these two meticulously crafted gems have been staples of their sets for the past few months but don't just take our word for it, judge for yourselves. Team Selador – Running in the family. x

Aubrey Fry is a name making serious waves in the electronic music scene. Blurring the lines between progressive house, techno, and breaks, his sound is raw, hypnotic, and impossible to ignore. With releases on Sasha's Last Night On Earth, John Digweed's Bedrock Records, and Nick Warren's The Sound Garden, we are pleased that he just collaborated with Nick Stoynoff to remix Danny Howells - Stereodrama for us at Selador, and you can here it here in the mix. Danny Howells - Stereodrama (Aubery Fry & Nick Stoynoff and DCLVIII OFC Remixes) - Selador Ambassador, you are spoiling us! That's right, in our role as House & Techno (and all flavours inbetween) global emissaries, we here at Selador like to think we're masters in finding the cherry to place atop the cake…or indeed the icing…or arguably both in this case, as we cook up not one but two sizzling, oven-ready remixes (enough with the ropey baking analogies, get a move on – exasperated Ed). Sorry. Where were we? Oh yes – a top notch remix package, that's where. Hot on the heels of getting you all somewhat hot under the collar by unveiling Danny's splendiferous new double header release, here in its slipstream, hoving into view in the rear-view mirror and set to join them in pole position, are two majestic re-rubs of ‘Stereodrama'. The annals of Seladorian history are chock-full of top-drawer collaborations, and now added to that esteemed list, we have Aubrey Fry (Bedrock and LNOE stalwart making a long overdue and most welcome Selador debut) teaming up with a man who is quickly becoming a Selador lynchpin, Nick Stoynoff. Their version excursion twists and turns (like a twisty turny thing, as a wise man once said), and much as this is both an over- and often mis-used expression, it genuinely takes you on a journey through the sonic stratosphere, a mix of two halves as the deep and driving opening salvo blends into a genuinely euphoric crescendo. And we ain't done yet! Enter stage left Toulouse-based techno troubadour DCLVIII OFC, another label debutant who we're beyond chuffed to have on the team. Tempo up, heads down, lights low, volume knob turned up to 11 for a brooding masterclass set to rattle a bassbin near you any night now. Team Selador - drama queens! x

Aikon x Dave Seaman - Promise You - Selador Collaboration (noun): the situation of two or more people working together to create or achieve the same thing. Collaborating is almost as old as music itself, those of a creative persuasion having pushed each other to new and inspiring heights since time immemorial. It's in our DNA. Let's share beats & gizmos and rock this crazy joint. Here at Selador HQ, we've made collaborations for dance floors and headphones, not boardrooms and spreadsheets, something of an art form. So pray tell, who makes up our latest dream team, and what have they conjured up for us? Perched jauntily on the Selador sofa, it's only that boss man Dave Seaman, more club culture air miles in his back pocket than Amelia Earhart and Charles Lindbergh (look ‘em up kids) going B2B; while in the special guest green room, we find our good friend Aikon, more hot labels hanging on his every beat than really seems fair on the competition. Together, they deliver a seismic new tune in the shape of ‘Promise You'. One version only, cos that be the definitive one, as razor sharp beats underpin rumbling bass, riffs duelling like pistols at dawn, and a heart-rending, soul-stirring vocal that's the proverbial cherry on the icing atop this epic sonic concoction. Team Selador – promised you a miracle x

Danny Howells - Powershow / Stereodrama - Selador Very early support from Khen, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Spencer Brown, Quivver, Anthony Pappa, Jim Rivers, AFFKT, Timo Maas, and Terry Farley. Aaah, Danny Howells. How do we love thee? Let us count the ways. We love you for your mastery of the art of DJing – many shades, always nuance – yet cohesive, powerful, enthralling, unifying. We love how you take those touchstones of DJ craft, and effortlessly transfer them to the studio, delivering finally crafted tunes par excellence, unerringly hitting the bullseye time after time. We love how ‘Powershow' effortlessly fuses an ethereal, uplifting and other-worldly ambience with filthy machine funk. We love how ‘Stereodrama' does exactly what it says on the tin, soaring sounds, gorgeous grooviness and subtle peaks and troughs colliding with dramatic effect. We love that decades of looking for the perfect beat, forever opening yourself to new sonic possibilities, has so evidently been poured into these tunes like liquid gold. We love the way that you break the DJ mould, your head forever above the parapet as you speak up for social justice and animal rights. We love your endless collection of natty threads and headgear and frankly, are more than a tad envious of your finely chiselled cheekbones. And we love that once again you have entrusted Selador with some of your majestic musical missives. Alright, alright, we know… we'll get a room. Team Selador - Love is in the air. x

Early support from Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Anthony Pappa, Eelke Kleijn, Sam Divine, Spencer Brown, AFFKT Double Header spells Double Dancefloor Delight from our Two Man Dream Team! Steve Parry. Selador boss man (job share), on a right roll studio wise these last few months, turning up the juice for fun. Four Candles. One of the hottest producers on the planet in '24, courtesy of belters for the likes of Bedrock & Diviine. We love a good collab here at Selador Towers – and they're always born out of friendship, mutual respect and like-minded creative souls – not them there pesky algorithms. This is how Steve and Kris (as he's known to Mr & Mrs Candles) found themselves holed up together concocting the ace tuneage we now present for your delectation and delight. ‘Mysko' was teased on Dave Seaman & Anthony Pappa's exclusive Selador Showcase 20 mix, and just like in days of yore, when hot tunes were…er…showcased on mix comps ahead of release, the enquiries storming in down the wires to HQ meant a single release was imperative. Of course, by this point our trusty troubadours were already in workaholic mode, and sister tune ‘Soul Repeat' was already nearing conclusion. The vibe? Melodic. Dreamy. Uplifting. Goose-bump-inducing. Intricate. Subtle. Classy. Guaranteed to generate secret smiles and knowing looks between strangers on the dancefloor. The tunes that sexy beast you saw beaming from ear to ear at the bus stop had playing in their headphones. Team Selador – Repeat Offenders. x

Support from Andy Moor, Nick Warren, Just Her, Santiago Garcia, Claptone, AFFKT, Animal Trainer, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Joris Voorn, Yotto, Made By Pete, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Adriatique Comin' atcha 2025!!! New year, new tunes, new benchmarks, new heights. What a start to Selador's twelfth (count ‘em) year. We were delighted when Dilby debuted for us recently with the vocal gem ‘Give It Up Again', a standout feature on our recent Showcase 20 compilation – and we're doubly delighted (verging on overcome, frankly) to follow it up in double quick time with this essential EP. The Berlin-based Kiwi straddles genres effortlessly, and subsequently finds his tunes in the boxes of a wide variety of DJs. This stellar selection will no doubt follow suit. We kick things off with ‘Sacred Ground' a majestic roller with a classic ‘90s feel that hits the spot in all the right places before dropping to a distinctive ‘dread' vocal. ‘Closer' then steps up with its rolling percussive intro paving the way for duelling riffs, a real early ‘00s classy heads down vibe for this one. And our titanic triptych is completed by the aforementioned ‘Give It Up Again', which is more than worthy of another trip round the block as a reminder of its undeniable potency. Essential 2025 tackle. Team Selador – from the heart of the dance floor x
